Abyssal Lord Of The Magi World

715 The pain of revenge

En and the Justice Primarchs had all left the Styx River. There was nothing to do there, and the law matrix would heal faster without enduring the pressure of several Rank 9 life forms.

The World Tree, Salomon, Issac, Hyperion, Bahamut, Nut, and Noir were all waiting outside the Prima-Eldritch Universe Final Battlefield.

A massive structure with the form of a large red sword stood next to the Dark Tower. That sword-like construction was the headquarters of the Immortal Alliance, Bloodshed Sword.

The Justice Primarchs and En were not the only ones in the strongholds, as several Law Overlords from the different great powers had gathered.

Zatiel being the Incarnation of Death and Destruction, was not something that could have caused such a commotion since most Justice Primarchs already suspected it, but the birth of Venganza changed everything.

They had all agreed to follow the Neo-Demon Ancestor because this one's goal was to protect the Prima Universe and bring forth a time of peace and light.

However, the intelligent Depravita, Venganza, was different. He did not care about anything but himself, and the Prima Universe was at best a burden and, at worst, food.

Fighting against Venganza was not a feasible plan. Even if all the Justice Primarchs were willing to go down that path, En might protect the Depravita. After all, he was still Zatiel Daybreak.

Not to mention that while they were sure that Venganza could not use the Incarnation of Death and Destruction without some limitations, the Depravita would only need one attack to wipe out any of them, even if they hid inside their Principal Worlds. The image of Eligos screaming and the Mind Ruler World's Crystal Wall shattering was still clear in their minds.

The reason they all gathered together was to project the greater strength possible. If there was something any life form respected, even Depravitas, it was power.

En, Issac, and Salomon were at the lead of this coalition and were also the closest to the Final Gate. Although none of them could send their perception through the gate, they were close enough to feel it tremble from time to time.

The only reason for something like that was the trigger of destructive forces that affected the entire Eldritch Universe.

Of course, the idea of the Eldritch Universe enduring irreparable damage made the trio smile, but it also made them tense. Just how strong were Incarnation of Death and Destruction, King in Yellow, and Flame Imperator?

"Do you think he could fall in there?" Salomon made a question that only En and Issac could hear.

When the World Tree and the Magus Primarch heard that, they felt conflicted emotions. Just a few hours ago, the duo was ready to sacrifice themselves to protect Zatiel, but now they had to admit that if the Incarnation of Death and Destruction did not come back, things would be much easier.

The Depravita Race was an existential hazard to any universe. The only reason the Justice Primarchs did not feel threatened was their lack of intelligence and that they were under Zatiel's control.

However, now the one that controlled them became an intelligent Depravita and transformed the Virtual Dream Universe into a breeding ground for those creatures.

Suddenly the trio adopted a battle stance and readied their power as they felt someone coming through the Final Gate. En and the other two Extreme Rank 9 life forms saw a heavily wounded Flame Imperator crossing into the Prima Universe.

The Flame Imperator did not glance at the Prima Universe's coalition. As soon as he left the restriction of the Prima-Eldritch Universe Final Battlefield, he teleported into the artificial world on the border of the universe.

En's perception was able to follow the Flame Imperator and saw how this one returned to the Alpha Universe.

Although the trio was full of doubts as they saw the Flame Imperator's behavior, a new presence emerging from the Final Gate brought them back to reality.

The Incarnation of Death and Destruction's arrival made a solemn aura affect all those present. Although they saw his wounded body, none of them dared to even think of underestimating this monster.

Before any of them could utter a word, Venganza turned toward them.

"Do not bother me." Venganza did not say anything else before vanishing.

Although those words sounded simple, the intent behind them was evident. They would suffer the consequences if they got in the Depravita's path.

As for where the Incarnation of Death and Destruction went, the answer was obvious. He appeared inside the Neo-Demon Realm, where billions of Neo-Demons were all waiting for him.

They were a race without a single Rank 8 life form, yet they were also the mightiest power in the Prima Universe due to the presence of a single individual.

Nevertheless, that realization did not bring happiness to the Neo-Demons as they saw the coldness and indifference in the eyes of the man who once only showed love and care.

Venganza only glanced at the Neo-Demons before teleporting toward the Final Purgatory. He rose through the layers and entered the First Layer again.

All the Neo-Demons were waiting for their Ancestor, and when they saw this one reappear, shock and horror emerged on their faces.

The Ancestor's body which had always been in peak physical condition and vibrant with life now resembled that of a corpse. There seemed to be no blood left in him, and his skin tightened to his bones as if his muscles were gone.

Using the Incarnation of Death and Destruction dried Venganza's life force, soul force, bloodline, and energy. Luckily, thanks to Depravita's undying nature, he would heal given enough time.

Unlike the others, Venganza did not seem to notice his condition. Either that or he simply did not care.

Zitra stared at him, and she could not help but feel great pain in her heart. She was about to fly toward him when this one vanished again.

Venganza did not hide his presence, so Zitra located him in one of the High Worlds inside the Neo-Demon Realm. Just as she was about to follow him, Heinz stopped her.

The Cultivator shook his head toward the woman. It was better to leave Venganza alone for the time being since this one did not wish to be disturbed.

Venganza dismissed everything that happened outside of this world and waved his hand as he carefully took out Sophia's body.

Now that he could see her with more attention, the Depravita saw the smile on the woman's face. It was clear she did not feel fear or regret during her last moment of life.

"I am Depravita. I can not feel love. You are just an instrument for my path, and your death means nothing to me."

As those words echoed through the world, a tear fell on Sophia's smiling face.

"Then why..." More and more tears fell on Sophia's face as Venganza cried.

"Why I felt like I lost a piece of me, and your last words kept resounding in my mind."

Venganza could not understand why he had to suffer so much. Even if the King in Yellow were still alive, it would only be a matter of time before the Eldritch Universe was gone, so he fulfilled his goal. Then, why did he feel like this?

"Why does the pain not go away!?"

Venganza's Depravita aura exploded, making the world tremble as earthquakes shattered its landmass. The only thing that Venganza's aura did not harm was Sophia's body.

He exhausted himself almost immediately due to his weakened condition. Nevertheless, an unshakable resolution emerged in his eyes as he stared at Sophia's smile.

"I don't care how long it takes me or how strong I need to become. I will bring you back!"
