Jiang Yi went out of the country in obedience to his father’s wishes. He honestly spent two years in a top American university, and then in his sophomore year, he signed up for a two-year exchange program with A University without his father’s knowledge and then returned to China secretly.

The ups and downs of the process are not worth mentioning. Regardless, it could be considered taking a different path so as to get the same result.

He grabbed the lever on his suitcase, standing under the sky, sighing with deep emotions. If he doesn’t see Chu Chuan again, he probably won’t even remember the other person’s favorite posture in bed.

His American roommate, Evan, who flew in with him for the exchange program, lifted his shoulder and bumped into him, “Hey, what are you staring at? They’re already here.”

Then both of them dragged their suitcases towards the students who had the id card of the school student council hanging at their necks.

There were two men and two women who came to pick them up. Among the four people, a girl with long curly brown hair greeted Evan, who was walking in front of him in fluent English. The blond-haired and blue-eyed Evan grinned, but what he spat out was well-spoken Chinese, “Hello, I have been yearning for Chinese history and culture for a long time.”

The girl with short black hair exclaimed a little, “You speak Chinese so well.”

Evan winked playfully, “Because I have participated in the Chinese Bridge.[1]”

The eyes of the two girls were almost stuck to Evan’s deep facial features.

The tall and straight boy on the left helped his glasses and hesitantly looked at Jiang Yi, saying, “Japanese?”

Jiang Yi, “…”

Jiang Yi, “I am Chinese.”

The boy ran out of words for a while, “Ahm, Hello, are you also here to be an exchange student? ”

Jiang Yi, “Yes.”

Boy, “…”

The four men led them in the direction of the exchange apartment. The breeze was full of summer heat. Evan gracefully raised his right hand and stroked his forehead, raising his beautiful neckline in the wind, which attracted the eyes of many students by the side of the road.

He tilted the corners of his mouth and whispered to Jiang Yi, “I heard that cross-action will make people look sexy. I don’t have to look back to know that there are a lot of pretty girls looking at me now.”

Jiang Yi, “…”

Jiang Yi deliberately alarmed him, “You should not apply your process of flirting with girls in the United States to China. You know, in China, as long as you have sex with a girl, you have to marry her.”

Evan, “…”

Just when Jiang Yi thought that the other party had nothing to say, Evan stopped abruptly, and his eyes crossed him to look behind him and he asked, “So if you sleep with a boy, you don’t have to marry him, right?”

Jiang Yi hesitated, “…Aren’t you fucking straight? “

Evan did not answer, “Aren’t you Chinese boys so handsome and sexy? The one behind you, as soon as I saw his long legs, I really wanted to abduct him to the bed right away. ”

Jiang Yi was startled by his remarks, then as if he thinking of something, he turned to look behind him with wide eyes but there was nothing behind him, he saw nothing.

Evan’s laughing voice squeezed into his ears, “Jiang, are you still saying you’re not gay? You have been in college in America with me for two years and there are so many hot girls who like you, but you never had a girlfriend, so you can’t be straight. Sure enough, you didn’t react when I just told you about pretty girls, but when it came to handsome Chinese guys, there was such a big reaction.”

Jiang Yi turned his head silently, trying to make him quieter. Only to hear Evan utter a stunned and short “My god”, the heavy suitcase fell to the ground at his feet, and someone bumped into him[Jy] while rushing, and even fell to the ground with him.

In the next second, the boy who was on top of him was pulled up. Jiang Yi climbed up by bracing himself on the ground, dropping his head to pat down the dust on his jeans. There were two more shadows in front of him, and then suddenly a melodious, deep voice fell into his auricle from the upper right side, strange and familiar, “Sorry-“

Jiang Yi raised his face abruptly and looked straight at the person who spoke.

When he caught sight of Evan pushing his suitcase to him, the handsome and calm boy paused and changed to the standard fluent American pronunciation, “Sorry, my friend didn’t see anyone behind him, so he bumped into you. Are you all right?”

Chu Chuan’s pronunciation probably could have thrown him, an authentic American student dog, a whole street away, but Jiang Yi had no time to listen. His eyes swept over the face of the boy wearing a single row roller skates beside Chu Chuan and finally landed on the other person’s wrist.

Since just now, Chu Chuan has never let go of the hand of the opponent’s wrist after pulling the other person from Jiang Yi’s body.

Jiang Yi, with half-drooping eyelids, instantly felt the urge to cry. With his hands in his trouser pocket, he looked up at Chu Chuan, who was several centimeters taller than himself, and replied calmly in English, “It’s all right, you can go.”

It’s all right. It’s all right. What’s all right?

What the fuck is going on?

If he remembered correctly, at this time in his last life, it should have been him who let Chu Chuan teach him the pulley by hand. But fate’s butterfly swung a wing to flap him to the other side of the ocean in the United States, but left Chu Jia Ri in Chu Chuan’s side, to take his place?

So he was the only one affected by the butterfly effect from beginning to end?

What kind of mess is this? Now he just wants to do whatever it takes to pull the progress bar to the age of 30, hug Chu Chuan and let the other side fuck him hard. Tell him that the world where Chu Chuan is not with Jiang Yi is just a dream. An ironic dream.

Unfortunately, from the day his college entrance examination results came out, it was doomed that even at the age of 30, most probably the people lying in Chu Chuan’s bed and chatting with him would not be him.

Jiang Yi was dazed and flustered.

Maybe he shouldn’t have chosen to go abroad, but instead should have chosen another college near A University like Chu Jia Ri. He’d just wasted two years of his life, giving away his boyfriend for nothing.
