Chu Chuan walked past him without squinting.

Hearing the sound of chimes from above the sliding door, he stood up holding onto the table and tried to follow, but sat down quickly the moment he realized that the other man’s footsteps had stopped in front of the clear glass door.

The second he got up, Jiang Yi’s eyes met with Chu Chuan’s who was standing in front of the glass door.

Chu Chuan returned with the roasted milk, one hand on the edge of the table in front of him, his tall body slightly bent down, no emotions could be seen in his eyes, “Would you shut your mouth, it’s drooling.”

Jiang Yi blinked in amusement, “I thought you wouldn’t take the initiative to talk to me.”

“I didn’t intend to talk to you.” Chu Chuan rubbed his eyebrows with a headache, “You have been following me for a few days now, haven’t you? Are you a perverted stalker, or are you determined to become the number one paparazzi in the entertainment industry in the future?”

Jiang Yi, “If you consider entering the entertainment industry after graduation, the career of paparazzi is not impossible to consider.”

Chu Chuan, “…”

“You really don’t remember me?” Jiang Yi asked unwillingly, “I was in the class next to you in high school, and I was assigned to your seat for a monthly exam. My admission number was posted in the upper left corner of your desk with my photo on it.”

Chu Chuan straightened up in a noncommittal way, “There were countless people who sat in my seat during the exam in three years of high school. Do I need to remember everyone?”

“Then what I wrote–” Jiang Yi stood up suddenly, and the bottom of the chair rubbing the ground made a thumping sound.

Chu Chuan raised his index finger to his lips and put down the plastic bag containing the roasted milk with his other hand. He took out the vibrating mobile phone from his pocket and stroked it to the answer button, attached it to his ear and listened for a while, then hung up. Before hanging up the call, he replied, “Are you across the street? I’m coming right now.”

Jiang Yi glanced at the other party’s phone, “Chu Jia Ri?”

When the words came out, the interface on the phone was still stuck in the call. Chu Chuan had no time to cover the microphone, and after hearing a short electric sound, Chu Jia Ri raised his voice and shouted, “Is it Jiang Yi!”

Chu Chuan frowned, and while putting the phone to his ear again, he turned his back and said, “Who is Jiang Yi?”

Chu Jia Ri’s voice was utterly weak, and his aura became weaker, “The Chinese student from that day, were you with him?”

“It’s not him.” Chu Chuan’s face didn’t change as he said a lie.

But Chu Jia Ri insisted, “I can hear it clearly, it’s Jiang Yi’s voice.”

“You can recognize his voice when you’ve only met him once?” Chu Chuan’s tone was subtle.

Chu Jia Ri, “…it’s not once. I met him in high school and I know he likes you.”

The other party’s explanation was quite reasonable. Jiang Yi knows Chu Jia Ri, so the reverse would also be true. Chu Chuan stopped pursuing it, and smoothly diverted Chu Jia Ri’s attention, then hung up the phone and turned to leave.

Jiang Yi gave a “hey”  from behind him, and squeezed his hands into fists, “Why did you just lie to him when you answered the phone?”

Chu Chuan glanced at him lightly.

Just when he almost gave up asking for the answer, Chu Chuan spoke, “Although I don’t know why is he so hostile to you, it is better for the two of you to meet less.”

Jiang Yi lowered his head slightly, rubbed his sweaty palm on the corner of his clothes twice. He raised his head and tried to draw a smile, and gave a soft ‘oh’.

This was his Chu Chuan, it was not a mistake. He always looked like, even if the sky is falling, don’t hinder him from playing games, otherwise, he will lock the person in the toilet, but he was also a very eccentric person by nature. For example, he would always help Chu Jia Ri to solve the fights in high school.

When he heard the names of the two, Jiang Yi thought that Chu Chuan and Chu Jia Ri were cousins, but when he moved to the same dormitory in college, he learned that the two were only pure neighbors, but Chu Jia Ri from the college next door was still dangling in his sight all day long.

Jiang Yi even suspected the two of them.

For the entire freshman year, he kept himself in the shell of his crush and refused to take a step forward. He didn’t even have the guts to admit that he had written a confession note to Chu Chuan.

Later, he learned that eccentricity and guarding the calf were the faults that came out of Chu Chuan’s bones, and that they would never be corrected. However, Chu Chuan was able to make the boundary between the brother next door and his boyfriend clear.

He would help Chu Jia Ri fight, take Chu Jia Ri to play games, and even allow Chu Jia Ri to sleep in his bed, and borrow brand new underwear for Chu Jia Ri to wear.

However, on the nights that Chu Jia Ri came to stay in their dormitory, Chu Chuan would squeeze into a bed with Jiang Yi, who was taller and longer. The underwear that Chu Jia Ri returned would be thrown away, but Chu Chuan was able to put on the old underwear that Jiang Yi dried without changing his face.

Then he would squint at the corners of his mouth to complain that the underwear is a bit tight. The next moment, he would easily dodge the swift slaps from Jiang Yi, and it would go on and on without getting tired.

What about now? The line between the brother next door and boyfriend has been wiped clean. Chu Jia Ri is now Chu Chuan’s boyfriend.

When Chu Jia Ri would stay overnight, Chu Chuan would no longer squeeze a bed with Su Hang.

When Chu Jia Ri would take a bath, Chu Chuan would open the door directly, and putting his old underwear in from the ground, giving excuses like he did not have new underwear. Then he would lock the toilet door quietly and would stare at Chu Jia Ri with his arms folded, while deliberately hooking the corners of his mouth and saying, “There is no new underwear, only the ones I have used. If you don’t want them, just go commando.”

Does Chu Chuan treat Chu Jia Ri as he did to him before?

Jiang Yi absent-mindedly picked up his school bag and walked out, but was stopped by the clerk who was cleaning the table with his cuffs rolled up——

“Classmate, you forgot to take your roasted milk.”
