Apocalypse Cheater

96 Her Seduce

"I've missed you, my darling," Veronica purred with a seductive smile. "I've been eagerly awaiting you in the room, but you know how much effort it takes to look this enchanting."

Veronica remained completely oblivious to any plans her daughter and her boyfriend might have had.

Daniel appeared entirely taken in by her ruse.

Blaming him would be unjust, as he had never harboured any suspicions or erected barriers within his relationships.

He had always wholeheartedly trusted the love and intentions of those dear to him.

This unshakeable trust was the reason why the woman before him seemed no different from the one he had fallen in love with.

"Oh, I'm relieved to hear that," Daniel replied with a warm smile.

"I was a bit concerned when you didn't respond earlier, but if you've been missing me, then I've been missing you even more since that day."

He welcomed her embrace, wrapping his arms around her in a tender hug.

They stood there, locked in an affectionate embrace, resembling a loving couple cherishing the closeness they had been yearning for.

"Yeah, me too," Veronica whispered softly, her voice carrying a hint of longing and affection.

As they embraced, Veronica experienced an unexpected sensation that coursed through her body like a sudden surge of electricity.

It sent tingles down her spine and made her heart race.

Her thoughts were a mix of confusion and curiosity as she nuzzled her face against Daniel's chest, trying to make sense of this peculiar feeling that had taken hold of her.

'What is this feeling I'm experiencing?' she wondered softly to herself.

'It feels... different, a bit... weird'

She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but there was an undeniable connection between them that was stirring something within her.

Veronica found herself relishing the comforting presence of Daniel's body.

Her curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn't resist taking a deep breath to inhale his scent.

The moment the captivating aroma filled her senses, she became utterly addicted.

The more she inhaled his unique fragrance, the more reluctant she felt to release him from their embrace.

It was as if his scent had cast a spell over her, binding her to him.

In this singular moment, for the first time in her tumultuous life, Veronica experienced a sense of purity.

Her past had moulded her into a person with a tough and hardened mentality.

Yet, in Daniel's presence, she felt a profound purity that defied easy explanation.

It was a complex emotion, difficult to put into words, but it permeated her very being and left her utterly captivated by the man she held in her arms.

As Veronica relished in Daniel's embrace, she experienced something she hadn't expected.

His hands began to tenderly caress her hair, treating her like a cherished princess.

Her body responded with an involuntary jolt of excitement, and she felt a thrilling rush at his gentle touch. It might have appeared to be a simple gesture, but to Veronica, it felt absolutely wonderful.

Minutes passed with Daniel continuing to caress her hair, and she became so engrossed in the sensation that she lost herself in a world of pleasure.

When he eventually called out to her, she snapped back to reality, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment at her momentary lapse.

Veronica couldn't help but mock herself inwardly.

"That's the first time I ever felt that way, and it came from nothing but strokes of hair..."

She chuckled softly, both defeated and amused by her own emotions.

"Now that we're ready, should we go...my princess?"

Daniel suddenly knelt down on one knee and kissed her hand.

The unexpected gesture shocked Veronica out of her wits, but she couldn't help but smile widely in response.

"Yes!" she replied with a heartful affirmation.

Before she could even inquire about their plans, Daniel effortlessly scooped her up in a princess-style embrace.

With her body cradled in his arms, he leapt out of the window, taking Veronica on an exhilarating flight through the night sky.

Veronica was left utterly speechless by the sudden turn of events.

She barely had time to process what was happening before they found themselves hovering among the clouds, bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of the full moon.

"!?"

Her eyes widened in shock and disbelief

'W-What is going on!? How are we up here in the clouds!?'

A whirlwind of questions swirled in her mind, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity about Daniel's true identity.

The night air was crisp and cool as they floated among the clouds, and Veronica couldn't help but be captivated by the breathtaking scene that unfolded before her.

The full moon cast a gentle, silvery light upon them, creating an almost magical atmosphere.

'Is this real?'

Veronica whispered to herself, her voice filled with awe.

She had never experienced anything quite like this. Her heart raced with a mixture of excitement and curiosity.

Turning her gaze toward Daniel, she was met with his warm, reassuring smile. It was a smile that seemed to promise adventure and wonder, and it put her at ease.

'Who are you, really?' she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, her eyes reflecting both curiosity and a hint of vulnerability.

The moonlit sky, the gentle breeze, and Daniel's company had created a romantic atmosphere that she had never expected to experience.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Daniel's voice broke the silence, drawing her attention away from the mesmerizing scenery.

"It really is..." Veronica replied softly, her gaze fixed on the moon above.

She felt a warmth in her chest, a feeling she hadn't felt in a long time.

"Did you enjoy it?" Daniel asked, turning his gaze toward her.

His smile was warm and inviting, and Veronica found herself nodding enthusiastically, her heart racing with excitement.

As they landed back at the mansion, Veronica's mind was abuzz with thoughts.

The Fantasia had influenced the world in profound ways, and most people were now familiar with the concept of the "game" inside it.

Given her own experiences, she understood that extraordinary abilities were not out of the ordinary in a world so deeply connected to Fantasia.

What intrigued her, however, was the flight ability Daniel had displayed.

She had never seen or heard of anyone possessing such power before.

It piqued her curiosity, but it wasn't a burning question in her mind.

After all, in a world where fantastical abilities were becoming more common, a new power was just another facet of this extraordinary reality.

Veronica decided to enjoy the rest of the evening's festivities with her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend, leaving the mysteries of Daniel's abilities for another time.

In the privacy of their room, Cecilia and Daniel found themselves gazing into each other's eyes, each harbouring their own thoughts.

As Daniel looked at Cecilia, he couldn't help but notice something different about her.

Her beauty, which was always striking, seemed to have an added layer of charm and maturity.

It was as if she had grown more alluring overnight.

He struggled to find the right words to describe it but settled on the idea that she exuded a unique aura.

It was a subtle change, but it hadn't escaped his notice.

Despite their striking physical resemblance, Daniel understood that there were always subtle ways to differentiate between individuals, and in this case, it was their auras.

However, he didn't dwell on it too much, as he had never met Cecilia's mother before and had no basis for comparison.

Instead, he simply appreciated the captivating presence of the woman he loved.

Hence, he treated it as normal.

Veronica, Cecilia's mother, had a devious plan forming in her mind.

She was determined to execute it in a way that would sever Daniel's affection for her daughter once and for all.

As she observed Daniel, a thought crossed her mind.

He appeared relatively young, and she doubted he had been intimate with her daughter yet.

There was a subtle hint of hidden desire in his eyes, and Veronica couldn't help but wonder if it was her attire or her own allure that had caught his attention.

With an evil smirk, she moistened her lips in anticipation.

Veronica was already plotting an act designed to seduce him, a performance she believed he wouldn't any longer be in love with Cecilia.

"Dear..." Step by step, she walked closer to him, and the moment her body leaned towards him, she pressed her breast against his chest while she tempted him by seductively calling his name near to his ear.

A small blow of air travelled to his ear when she called out to him, but that was enough to instil lust in his emotions.

"You know...I can't hold on any longer....."

She tightened her embrace with her hands around his neck with pleading eyes, and those tactful tear expressions of hers caused a spark of craving inside of him.

"We've been in love and have been dating for nearly sometime...but...I...can't hold it anymore...."

Veronica leaned in, attempting to plant a seductive kiss on Daniel's lips.

However, before their lips could meet, he abruptly stopped her, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" Daniel asked, his tone polite but guarded.

He had been caught off guard by this sudden advance and was now questioning the identity of the woman who bore such a striking resemblance to Cecilia but seemed entirely unfamiliar to him.

Veronica's seductive demeanour quickly shifted to one of frustration as Daniel questioned her identity. She had expected her uncanny resemblance to Cecilia would be enough to deceive him.

"Come on, darling. It's just me, Cecilia. You know, your girlfriend," Veronica attempted to regain her composure and double down on her act.

He carefully scrutinized her, his instincts telling him that something was amiss.

"No... you're not. You may look the same, but something about you is different,"

Daniel asserted his voice firmly. He regretted not having a skill that could help him inspect others' status at that moment.

Nevertheless, even without it, he had a gut feeling that the woman before him wasn't Cecilia.

The differences, subtle yet significant, had finally caught his attention.

Veronica's eyes darted around the room as she scrambled to find a convincing explanation.

"Darling, I've been feeling a bit different lately, that's all. Maybe it's just the lighting in here," she stammered, her voice wavering.

Daniel wasn't buying it. "The lighting doesn't change your aura," he retorted. "Who are you really? And what do you want?"

Veronica's laughter echoed in the room as she revealed her true identity.

It was a laugh that held a tinge of embarrassment, realizing that her charade had been uncovered.

Daniel, on the other hand, felt a mix of relief and curiosity upon finally learning who this uncannily similar woman was.

With a playful smile, Veronica decided to clarify the situation further.

"I apologize for the confusion, dear. I'm Veronica, Cecilia's mother," she stated, her tone more genuine now.

Daniel, still processing this unexpected revelation, responded with a simple, "Oh."

Veronica could sense his uncertainty and decided to elaborate.

"I wanted to get to know the young man who has captured my daughter's heart. You can call it a mother's curiosity," she explained, her expression softening with a creepy sincerity.

Daniel, though taken aback initially, appreciated her straightforwardness. "I understand your concern for Cecilia," he replied, relaxing slightly. "She means a lot to me, and I care about her deeply."

Veronica nodded, a maternal warmth in her eyes, but at the same, there was a hint of jealousy.

Veronica walked in closer, her flirtatious smile never leaving her face as she continued to engage Daniel in conversation.

"But tell me, what gives you the clue?" she inquired, her voice carrying a sultry tone, all the while using the opportunity to learn more about the intriguing young man.

Daniel took a moment to gather his thoughts before responding.

"Well, at first, I couldn't quite put my finger on it," he began, his eyes locked onto hers.

"But you've been acting rather strangely, especially during our little moment in the sky just now''

''You see, that wasn't the first time I've done that, and your reaction was quite different from what I expected from Cecilia."

Veronica listened intently, her gaze never wavering.

She acknowledged his observations with a pleased expression.

"How wonderful," she purred, "and I'm quite jealous that my daughter has found someone like you."

Her smile held a certain allure, and although to Daniel, it seemed like a compliment for Cecilia but  deep down, she was drawn to Daniel's charm and couldn't help but feel a desire to make him her own.

Veronica leaned in closer, her eyes shimmering with possessiveness and intrigue.

"You have a sharp eye, Daniel," she purred, her voice laced with a seductive tone. "But there's so much more to me than meets the eye."
