Blackstone Code

0002 State the facts

Mr. Fox had some reputation on the street, he was one of those "capable" people who would help the poor and lend money to them to tide them over.

Of course, he is not a purely good person, he also needs the poor people to give him kindness in return, some rewards may be more than the principal.

But on the whole he was a good guy, probably, maybe, probably.

In an underground office, Lynch met Mr. Fox, a gentleman who looked to be in his late 30s or 40s.

He is wearing this year's most popular dark gray suit with red and blue dots, and a red and blue silk scarf around the neckline, which is not so formal, but also very elegant.

Before Lynch came here, Mr. Fox had heard about the abnormalities of this kid from his subordinates, such as what he said before, which made him a little curious.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" He asked his subordinates to press Lynch on the chair opposite the desk, "There are very few people on this street who are not afraid of me."

Lynch didn't show the slightest sense of fear. Such a scene can only be said to be trivial. He shrugged and asked, "Mr. Fox, will you hurt me?"

This sentence stunned Mr. Fox, he thought about it seriously, then shook his head, "I usually don't take the initiative to hurt anyone, but if you do something unfriendly first..."

It is a very stupid thing for anyone to hurt others for no reason. This will firstly make their own image worse, and secondly, they will be targeted by the investigation bureau because of such purposeless actions.

The vast majority of people are looking for money, they are not looking for work, and so is Mr. Fox.

"That's right, then why should I be afraid?" The calmness and smile on Lynch's face made Mr. Fox doubt for a moment.

He glanced at the assistant beside him, and then put his eyes on Lynch's face again, "But my people said that you have been staring at me these days, maybe you can tell me why, you are the Bureau of Investigation people?"

Before they came, they searched Lynch's body, and there was nothing to prove his identity. In addition, the outfits on him did not conform to the style of the Bureau of Investigation at all. Fox did not think he was a Agent of the Bureau of Investigation.

This is also where he is curious. This kid has been staring at his property, the laundry shop, and he has also inquired about the identity of this kid. Because of curiosity and vigilance, this scene happened.

He really wanted to know what Lynch was doing.

He picked up the notebook in Lynch's pocket, opened it and read a few pages, but there were all things he couldn't understand. He asked the assistant who graduated from the university beside him, and the assistant didn't know what the words on it represented.

The warm smile on Lynch's face made Fox feel... a little uncomfortable, it felt like..., he didn't know how to describe it, it was like being cared for.

"It's Mr. Fox, I have noticed the laundry business and some of your little troubles, plus I believe you have investigated me and know the problems I am facing now..."

Mr. Fox nodded, emphatically, "Poverty!"

Lynch pointed to the ceiling, used small movements to attract Mr. Fox's attention and regained the right to speak, "You are right, so I need to get out of the financial crisis as soon as possible, and I want to do a little business with you."

All of a sudden, everyone in the office laughed. Mr. Fox, his assistant, and two big men who were not easy to mess with were all laughing.

Lynch looked at Mr. Fox without embarrassment. After they stopped laughing for about 312345 seconds, he asked, "This is not a joke."

Mr. Fox laughed again. While laughing, he asked, "But I don't think there is any business between us..." As he spoke, his laughter stopped naturally, and then he frowned, "You Want to borrow money?"

Lynch shook his head, "No, business, Mr. Fox!"

Mr. Fox has had enough of laughing. The curiosity and thirst for knowledge in human nature make him continue the conversation. At least he will not stop this interesting conversation until he knows the answer or loses interest.

"So what business do you want to do with me?"

Lynch's confident and sunny smile as always makes people feel good, "I can provide more change, five cents, ten cents, twenty-five cents and fifty cents, all coins, old and new have……"

Mr. Fox's complexion changed suddenly, and there was something palpitating in his slightly squinted eyes. If you have to interpret what this gaze is, it must be killing intent.

"Do you know what I'm doing?" He couldn't help but took out a cigarette and lit one, "You're very brave!"

Lynch was unmoved at all, "I'm not afraid of being poor, would I be afraid of other things?"

The two looked at each other for a while, and it seemed that this guy named Lynch was indeed a bold person, and at the same time, Mr. Fox began to be really interested in his words.

Some industries have some gray areas. For example, the financial company he is running is not completely legal. Not only the Bureau of Investigation is watching him, but the Federal Taxation Service is also watching him.

He needs to use some channels to tax the money in his hands reasonably and legally without attracting too much attention. Laundromats are a good channel.

No one cares where every coin comes from, and they don't know where those coins come from. In the entire Baylor Federation, all laundry shops are basically controlled by these people.

But they also have a problem, that is too slow!

The middle class and upper class have their own washing machines, they don't need to send their clothes to the street to be washed, only the poor do.

But poor people tend to save a week's worth of clothes to wash once, and they have to wash all of them at once.

For this reason, people like Mr. Fox have deliberately come up with a new charging standard, charging by the pound, but this is still a drop in the bucket.

We can't force everyone to do laundry every day. Doing so will only attract the attention of the Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Taxation Service. This is Mr. Fox's biggest pain point.

The safe is full of money, but you can't take it out to spend, that kind of feeling is terrible!

Now the bastard in front of him said that he could solve this problem, which immediately aroused Mr. Fox's interest, "How are you going to do it?"

Lynch revealed his method without any concealment. He couldn't hide it. No matter his current status, he couldn't stop Mr. Fox from investigating. It's better to say it directly to show his sincerity.

"I will collect a large amount of coins and resell them to you in exchange for a part of the fee, and my income is the difference."

Mr. Fox glanced at the assistant again, and the assistant whispered in his ear for a while before he frowned and asked, "How much do you want?"

Lynch's enthusiastic smile made Mr. Fox feel the inexplicable illusion of being cared again, "Ten percent!"

"Are you crazy?" Mr. Fox couldn't help crying out, "I'd rather wait slowly!"

The price of ten percent is completely unacceptable to him, when the transaction amount is one yuan, it is only ten percent.

But when the transaction amount is between 100,000 and 1 million yuan, it is a number that can make people feel distressed.

Lynch didn't bargain with him right away, but asked a new question, "Mr. Fox, do you have a "Trader" here?"

"Trading News" is one of the newspapers with the largest circulation in the Baylor Federation. It covers the entire seventeen states of the Baylor Federation and all regions. The content is mainly about some national and international financial and economic trends, as well as some local financial economic change.

In a series of "confrontation", Mr. Fox gradually lost the initiative. He glanced at the assistant, who nodded, indicating that there is.

Although their business is not so appropriate, their work is indeed closely related to finance.

"Give me a copy as early as possible and the latest one, and I will let you know who is the real winner in our deal!"

Lynch's firm and powerful voice and his confident expression made Mr. Fox begin to faintly believe it, just like when Lynch used to hold a microphone and speak in front of a large group of people.

People look at him, then believe what he says is true, end up pocketing his money and thanking him!
