Broken-Winged Angel

Chapter 23: Start reading

I woke up from chaos and my head was like an explosion of pain. I kneel down on the bed. Everything that has happened gradually has become clearer in my head.

These two despicable bastards!

I was extremely resentful and I clenched my fist. I have always been willing to swallow and make a living, but when will this life end? If I have been living like this, the hatred in my heart will accumulate more and more, and one day they will all erupt, let me choose to go with them.

I want to escape! Even the last end of the escape is death!

I held back the pain from my head, went into the locker room and loaded the clothes I brought into the bag, and took out all the cash from the drawers carrying the valuables. I am not going to take my deposit slip, nor will I take the credit card they gave me. Using these will easily expose my whereabouts.

I went back to the room, took out the pen and paper from the desk next to the window and started to write a message. I have nothing to do with them, but I still have to leave some words to avoid the trouble of finding my family.

"I am leaving. I hope you can let me go, don't look for me, maybe you don't answer, but please don't bother my family, I won't go home, but I will pay attention to them in the distance if they are hurt. I will commit suicide immediately."

With simple clothes and a small amount of cash, I left the luxurious cage of Zhao, I hope I can fly forever...

I walked aimlessly for a long time. I don't have a passport, so I can't escape to foreign countries. I can only leave Taipei and leave them.

I bought a ticket at the train station. I didn't even look at where it was going. I only hope that it can drive to a free country so that I can live quietly.

When I got off the train, I unconsciously followed a stranger who was walking in front of me to catch a Bus that didn't know where to go. The old Bus stopped and stopped. After a few hours, it stopped by a remote path. Still sitting in the car silly looking out the window looks a bit desolate. The fat driver, Uncle, turned his head and looked at me in confusion. "Miss, why don't you get off the bus? Go to the terminal. Are you going there?"

I am coming back. "Aber, I just want to go around and have no destination." I smiled and picked up my luggage, ready to get off.

"Miss, it's very far from the village. It's going to be a few hours along this road. It's better to take my car and go back to the train station." The driver uncle suggested me kindly.

"No need." I waved at her and walked along the bumpy path without looking back. What will be greeted me? I have an expectation in my heart...

At the end of the path, there is a plain and poor village. In Taiwan, where there is a rich and prosperous place, there is such a barren place, which makes me somewhat surprised. Most of the residents in this village live on farming and basically live a self-sufficient life. There are only a handful of "rich" people in the village who have TVs, and some even have no lights.

I stayed in the only clinic in the village. The doctor at the clinic hired me as his nurse because I knew a little about the ambulance.

The doctor is also an urbanite who is exiled here. This is what the village’s amnesty said. He heard that he was killed in a car accident because his wife and a child of full age. He was a doctor but could not save his love. People's lives leave the city. I think the way he came here should be similar to me.

Here, doctors treat the villagers and treat pigs, cattle and other livestock. These animals are almost the most valuable thing in a family. I also worked as a nurse in a small clinic and as a teacher for children. There is no school here, and the nearest school is said to be 20 miles away. Many children have not attended school.

When I came, I didn't bring any books. The textbooks used were later mailed by doctors.

I stayed here for a week, fearing that my twins would suddenly appear in front of me. As time passed, I finally let go. The Zhao family has no right to be powerful and not omnipotent. They should not find this small village that has almost been forgotten by society.

"Amei, this is the green vegetables that I just picked from the ground, very tender, for you to eat." A stout squatting standing outside the simple door of the clinic, the voice was loud.

"Oh, thank you." I politely thanked me for accepting a large bundle of greens. In addition to giving me the weight of the doctor, the residents here are very poor, doctors often do not accept their medical fees, so they often take some of the vegetables and fruits grown in their own land to express gratitude to him. I also often follow the light.

"Amei, you are so watery, are you a boyfriend?" I handed the dish to me, and I didn't leave, but I was very interested in talking to me.

I don't want to answer this question, I don't want to go back to everything in the past. I smiled a little and didn't answer.

After talking to me for a while, Daxie walked away without getting the answer she wanted.

I sat in a chair and stared at the green hills in the distance. I don't know why, my heart has a feeling of rising mountains and rain. Hope is just my illusion.
