Wei Yue Er had a very smooth pregnancy with no symptoms. She also had a very smooth childbirth. After 2 hours, she had a lovely little angel.

Jiang Shan was in the room. After she gave birth to a daughter, Jiang Shan was a little disappointed. Although he would like a daughter, he still hoped to have a son. Fortunately, with Li Su’s constant brainwashing, Jiang Shan had accepted this fact. He was just a little disappointed.

Li Su said, “Yes, mother-in-law will take the child back. Jiang Shan and I will wait for Yue Er to come out.”

Mother Wei did not worry about the child nor her daughter. She listened to Li Su and laughed. “That’s good. Then I will have to trouble mother-in-law. I will take the child back and wait for her to settle. I’ll come back.”

Mother Wei and Wei Ding Shan carefully went back into the ward with the child.

Li Su hit Jiang Shan. “What are you doing?”

Jiang Shan was somewhat embarrassed. “Nothing? The child has the old man and old madam!”

Li Su twisted Jiang Shan’s ear. “What do you mean old man and old madam? Didn’t TV teach you anything? Life should have a sense of ceremony so that there can be great happiness! Yue Er went through a lot for your daughter. Don’t you have anything to say? Go!”

Jiang Shan said, “I know, mum. I will go now.”

Wei Yue Er smiled when she saw Li Su. She looked around the room. Li Su hurriedly glared at Jiang Shan. Jiang Shan laughed, embarrassed and held the flowers out to Wei Yue Er. He then leaned over and kissed Wei Yue Er’s forehead and knelt. “Yue Er, it’s been hard on you. I love you.”

Wei Yue Er took the flowers and laughed in happiness. “Thank you! Husband!” She was really happy right now. She wanted to pray to the heavens to let her be happy and not deprive her of her happiness.

Little Moon was the most beautiful and cute child. Li Su didn’t know how to express her love for Little Moon.

The same could be said of Wei Ding Shan and Mother Wei. Wei Ding Shan couldn’t spend much time with Little Moon because of work, so he took a lot of photos and videos of Little Moon. When he wasn’t too busy, he looked at them.

Mother Wei and Li Su went to visit Little Moon every day at the confinement centre. They couldn’t wait to hold the child and refused to let go.

Although Jiang Shan regrets that he had a daughter, but now he had Little Moon, he was convinced. In order to increase the interaction between the child and her parents, they let Jiang Shan feed, bathe, and change Little Moon’s diapers. Jiang Shan began to clumsily learn.

Jiang Shan stayed until the middle of the month, then he went back to work to start running 2 hospitals.

On this day, he just got off work and was ready to go to the confinement centre. He got into his car and the underground garage opened. He drove out and a person suddenly walked out in front of him.

Jiang Shan stepped on his brakes, but it was too late. The car knocked that person to the ground.

Jiang Shan got out of the car and went to see what happened. When he saw the person lying on the floor, he was stunned. It was Mei Li! Hadn’t she been sent back to her hometown? Why was she back? And what did she think she was doing?

Jiang Shan saw that Mei Li was bleeding and didn’t think too much. He put her into his car and went to the nearest hospital.

It had been an hour. Jiang Shan looked at the time. He was feeling anxious. He still had to bathe Little Moon. He was so late today and he wasn’t sure if Little Moon was thinking about him.

“Nurses, I have something to do. I will go first. I will pay for it and leave my number. When she wakes or if you have any questions, you can call me.” Jiang Shan wanted to go.

Jiang Shan hurried over. Little Moon was being carried by Li Su. When Li Su saw Jiang Shan, she didn’t have anything good to say. “Where did you go? Your girl was anxious. Hurry up and change your clothes and wash your hands.”

Jiang Shan apologised. “I hit a person while driving. I had to send them to the hospital. I came as soon as I could.”

Wei Yue Er was worried. “You hit a person? Was it serious?”

“No, it was a light hit. I just sent that person to the hospital.” Jiang Shan washed his hands in the bathroom as he listened to Wei Yue Er. He didn’t say the whole truth. He knew that his mum didn’t like Mei Li and Yue Er was right there. There was no need to bother them with this matter. He could deal with it. He won’t let anyone destroy his current happiness.

Wei Yue Er and Li Su listened to him and felt a little relieved.

Jiang Shan changed his clothes, washed his hands, and quickly took Little Moon from Li Su. When Little Moon returned to her father’s familiar embrace, she stopped crying.

Li Su and Wei Yue Er laughed. “Our daughter must be her father’s sweetheart in her previous life. We take care of her more, but she still likes her father more!”

Wei Yue Er smiled and said, “Yeah.”

“If you are jealous, just get a little sweetheart in a few years.” Mother Wei smiled and came out with a plate of fruit.

Wei Yue Er’s face flashed with fear. Although she was able to give birth smoothly, the various prenatal check-ups were embarrassing and the piercing pain during childbirth made her very scared. In short, she really didn’t want to repeat this experience.

With the help of Nanny Yue, Jiang Shan had bathed Little Moon, changed her diapers and clothes, and fed her milk. He was now coaxing her to sleep.

After Jiang Shan put his daughter to sleep, he gently placed Little Moon in her crib, then sat there and watched her for a while before he left. He walked over to Wei Yue Er and sat down on the bed, preparing to peel an apple for her.

“Don’t worry about that. You haven’t eaten yet, so you should get something to eat. I just ate fruit,” Wei Yue Er said, distressed.

Jiang Shan smiled. “How are you today? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

There were other women with her in the confinement centre and they often dropped by to chat with each other. Wei Yue Er heard many complaints from other women. Some of their in-laws didn’t like that they had a daughter and they didn’t even bother with their granddaughter. Some in-laws said it was better to have the confinement period at home. Why should they spend money on a confinement centre? Some of them also let the mothers eat a lot of things. There was a long list of complaints.

Wei Yue Er listened and was very thankful she had a good mother-in-law!
