……

122 : Cursed Anonymous
Despite the fact that it’s a game without a party function, many have somehow formed parties one way or another.
The standard’s generally become 4-6 people in a party too.

123 : Cursed Anonymous
Certainly, it’s turned out that way.
A lot of them usually all have a similar vibe or appearance as well.
What’s the deal with that, I wonder.

124 : Cursed Anonymous
Isn’t it just a group that’s migrated from a different game?
Nowadays, full-dive VRMMOs aren’t really a novelty anymore and that’s the reason why something peculiar like『CNP』rose to the surface after all.

125: Cursed Anonymous
Even though we’re playing an MMO, all of us are playing solo……

126 : Cursed Anonymous
Eh?

127 : Cursed Anonymous
Naturally, I’m playing with a party though?

128 : Cursed Anonymous
It’s just you, dude.

129 : Cursed Anonymous
> 126-128 Uwaaaaaah! You traitors!
Whatever, it’s more comfortable being by myself anyways.
That aside, what are the benefits of forming a party?
Sometimes you get into weird involvements with others when you’re alone and I wanna have an excuse for refusing, so please, do tell.

130 : Cursed Anonymous
You sure are an introvert to the core……

131 : Cursed Anonymous
The benefits of a party, huh……
I probably don’t have to explain that it’s fun to play together with friends, right?
If you want a reason to refuse any weird requests, it’s likely faster to highlight things such as practical gain.

132 : Cursed Anonymous
> 129 There’s a lot of different benefits but…… the main points would be that it makes exploration easier and you’ll be able to handle stronger foes.
The more directions you can simultaneously watch, the harder it’ll be for someone to land a surprise attack on you.
If you co-operate, you can also take down enemies that would be impossible to defeat alone. That about sums it up, I guess.
Arguably, the downsides would be having to deal with human relations, distribution of items and things like that.

133 : Cursed Anonymous
Disputes over items, right……
People who are fun to team up with usually decide on that kind of stuff beforehand to avoid any future problems.
In other words, if the agreement over those topics seem vague…… it’s probably best to pass on those groups.

134 : Cursed Anonymous
There’s also people among those who’ll join only to ambush you from behind and commit PK.
I was actually just recently on the receiving end of that.

135 : Cursed Anonymous
People like that exist?

136 : Cursed Anonymous
They do. There aren’t any perks to PKing or anything, yet they still do it. I wonder if they’re PKers to a truer extent.

137 : Cursed Anonymous
Come to think of it, were the mechanics regarding PK ever mentioned or confirmed?

138 : Cursed Anonymous
So there really are people who intentionally PK others instead of just simply mistaking them for monsters……

139 : Cursed Researcher
>129 Honestly speaking, there’s nothing but downsides.
You barely get any EXP, items don’t drop and of course, their bodies don’t remain. You’ll end up getting targeted by other players and depending on the situation, sometimes NPCs will retaliate too.
It’s still being investigated, but there seems to be something called a “revenge system.”

140 : Cursed Anonymous
A revenge system?

141 : Cursed Anonymous
Revenge?

142 : Cursed Anonymous
Details.

143 : Cursed Researcher
>140 – 142 It’s unclear since we’re still verifying it.
But for now, it appears that when you kill the same opponent over and over again, that opponent will gain advantages.
By the way.
If you try to PK, but the tables are turned on you, it won’t activate.
Instigating and provocation are considered an attempt at PK by the system as well.
Please also be aware of these circumstances.

144 : Cursed Anonymous
Looks like PK really is worthless unless either both parties arrange the duel beforehand or its an event.

145 :Cursed Anonymous
If people still engage in PK after knowing this then, they really are genuine PKers…… regardless of their objectives.

146 : Cursed Anonymous
Well, that would end up being the case.

【Scouting Is】Map Exploration Thread 【Important】

1 : Cursed Anonymous
This is a thread created with the purpose of talking about any map discoveries in Curse Nightmare Party.
In the case that a post is written in a way that contradicts the community policy, it may very well be deleted under supervision of management.
>950, take care of the next thread please.

……

325 : Cursed Anonymous
Then, if you summarized everything in a more basic manner, it’ll look something like this, maybe?
O Sacribase : A town centered on top of a hill, the starting point for normal players.
N1 Enforested Town : Many poisonous creatures. If you need lumber, it’s here.
E1 Swamped Factory : The swamp hinders your movement. You can get metal from here or S1.
S1 Desolate City : A wastelands area with buildings. You can get metal from here or E1
W1 Abandoned Field : Mostly a grassland. Good for beginners and for raw materials of beasts.
Also, all 4 maps each have a dungeon stationed in them.
Moreover, it appears that if you have abnormalities at 6 or above, you’ll start in a large safety area somewhere in one of the 4 maps.

326 : Cursed Anonymous
Thnx for the summary.

327 : Cursed Anonymous
Thanks thanks.

328 : Cursed Anonymous
Nice work.

329 : Cursed Anonymous
>325 GJ
Nevertheless, the fog persists no matter which map you’re on, so I can’t even tell where the dungeons are.

330 : Cursed Anonymous
Doesn’t the range of visibility depend on the amount of your abnormalities?
If I’m not mistaken, at abnormalities 5, the visibility outside seems clear, but the fog gets thicker around the dungeon which makes it a bit easier to understand.

331 : Cursed Anonymous
Seems like so.
Therefore, when forming and acting as a party, having a scout with at least 5 abnormalities is practically required.

332 : Cursed Anonymous
If you’re playing vanilla, you can only see about 100 meters out….. Actually, although I say that, even if you can see, it’s still nothing but silhouettes.
When it comes to the distance you can properly see, I think it’s just around 50 meters.

333 : Cursed Anonymous
I’m not really afraid of the limited vision when I’m fighting in one spot.
However, it’s a different story if I’m chasing something or getting chased.

334 : Cursed Anonymous
In this case, you might consider increasing the amount of your abnormalities with suitable curses in exchange for more visibility.
The inside of a dungeon has at least a curse concentration of 9 or more and if you think about it, it’ll increase as you head further into the center so…… maybe you’d be able to see everything with 15?
You could ask a friend if you ever need something from the towns.

335 : Cursed Anonymous
There’s a crazy theory going around in the thread that’s figuring out the usability of the starting curses.
If your initial abnormalities reach 16 or over, you’ll start out in a dungeon.

336 : Cursed Anonymous
Fuaa!?

337 : Cursed Anonymous
Seriously!?

338 : Cursed Anonymous
How enviable!

339 : Cursed Anonymous
Depending on the dungeon you roll, it can be a considerable head start, but that’s……

340 : Cursed Anonymous
>336 – 339 Calm down. It’s not such an enviable start as you would think.
With abnormalities at 16 and over, the moment you exit the dungeon, you’ll get hit with a status condition called Curse Concentration Deficiency and you’ll die.
On top of that, it’s extremely painful.

341 : Cursed Anonymous
Wha!?

342 : Cursed Anonymous
Geh……

343 : Cursed Anonymous
Alright, give it up everybody.

344 : Cursed Anonymous
Eh, what are you supposed to do then? You can’t leave the dungeon, so you’re basically cornered…… Ah, the contract did say you should be prepared to accept the possibility that you could get stuck in certain situations.

345 : Cursed Anonymous
I guess, unless you sign the contract, create a character using semi-auto and end up with 16 or more abnormalities, you should probably refrain from challenging it……
And that’s accounting for even if we somehow find a way to increase the number of curses on our avatars in the future.

346 : Cursed Anonymous
Still, it’s only been 3 real days since the game’s started and despite that, the inspection team sure are at it……

347 : Cursed Anonymous
Truly. Well, you can chalk up the investigations over initial curses due to this being the very beginning after all……

【I’m Not】High Abnormalities Players’ Forum @1【A Monster】

1 : Cursed Anonymous
This is a Curse Nightmare Party thread that can only be viewed and posted in by players with 6 or more abnormalities.
Please note that you can only view and post while you are inside of the game.
In the case that a post is written in a way that contradicts the community policy, it may very well be deleted under supervision of management.
>950, take care of the next thread please.

……

252 : Cursed Anonymous
This thread sure is slow……

253 : Cursed Anonymous
Well, just looking at the posts, its doubtful that even 10 people are here.

254 : Cursed Anonymous
Can’t be helped since a lot of players are hesitant on signing the contract.

255 : Cursed Anonymous
【Attention】It appears that PKers targeting players with high abnormalities have started to pop up in groups!

256 : Cursed Anonymous
Seriously? Though, I somewhat expected this to come eventually.
Anyways, explain in detail please.

257 : Cursed Anonymous
>256 Those are the details.
They knew I was a player, yet they still attacked me without warning.
Since they had an appraisal loupe, they were definitely a player.
I was also partied with a normal player, but the PKer didn’t care and still committed the act.
I felt upset and at the same time, regret.
(cont.)

258 : Cursed Anonymous
(continued)
Then, if it was just that one time, I would’ve just thought that I had encountered something strange and left it at that, but……
Apparently, when I brought it up with other players, it seems like there was a guy that was picking fights with any players with high abnormalities.
Moreover, whenever he felt like he’d lose, he would supposedly run away while spouting some insults.
No one said anything about it here yet, so I felt the need to say something.

259 : Cursed Anonymous
Oh my, that’s definitely a genuine PKer.

260 : Cursed Anonymous
While it may be true that the system is forgiving, it doesn’t mean that you can just do whatever you want……

261 : Cursed Anonymous
Aren’t those guys, like, misunderstanding something?
CNP has a system where there’s no benefits to PK.
Rather, even if there were, I don’t really understand the need to target those who have high abnormalities.

262 : Khaki Fang
Let’s see, so that’s what’s happening here?
>255 High abnormality targeting? Anyways, I found some people that appeared to be PKers in S1.
Hence, I hid as I tailed them, but…… these guys really are awful.

263 : Cursed Anonymous
How so?

264 : Cursed Anonymous
Uh-oh.

265 : Cursed Anonymous
Oh, you’re posting with a name, that’s rare.

266 : Khaki Fang
Apparently, those guys don’t view high abnormality players as humans.
Or more precisely, the minds of players with high abnormalities are inferior or something…… I’ll just say, I got a bit offended upon hearing that stuff.

267 : Cursed Anonymous
Hmm?

268 : Cursed Anonymous
That’s……

269 : Khaki Fang
Ah I get it now. They probably got banned in a different game and accumulated some stress in real life, so they wanna play hero here.
Though, as far as I know, the residents’ favorability towards those guys have reached an all-time low.

270 : Cursed Anonymous
Did you report them to management? I did.

271 : Cursed Anonymous
Heeh, they’ve sure got some nerve.

272 : Khaki Fang
>270 I’ve already reported them.
I mean, they’re seriously messed-up.
I don’t really wanna be considered involved with them, so I won’t make too much of a fuss here, but I’ll spill some real-time information while walking around unattentively.

273 : Cursed Anonymous
I presume they could be genuine PKers, but maybe something set them off?

274 : Cursed Anonymous
If management is on the move, then leave it to them.
Khaki Fang and everyone else should also call it a day and steer clear from them.
Those guys probably can’t see this thread, but if anything gets exposed, your efforts may come to naught.

275 : Khaki Fang
Thanks for the concern.
You’re right, I should finish up soon.
A group like them will be gone in no time. Fua!?

276 : Cursed Anonymous
What’s wrong?

277 : Cursed Anonymous
Did something happen?

278 : Cursed Anonymous
Did you see a rare live ban?

279 : Khaki Fang
One of them suddenly got poisoned, they got into an argument and started attacking each other.

280 : Cursed Anonymous
Hah?

281 : Khaki Fang
I don’t know where it came from, but I couldn’t even follow what was happening.
I-In any case, the lethal dose of poison abruptly…… Uwaa, wait, this time it’s everyone!?

282 : Khaki Fang
Ah, there’s something horrifying here.
Most likely, it’s a long ranged attack.
It appears that there’s no impact or anything, so no one can tell which direction it came from.

282 : Khaki Fang
Ah, those guys are already done for.
They fell into heavy suspicion and intentionally started insulting and attacking each other.
For now, should I just chomp down on the last survivor’s windpipe?
I don’t wanna fight the winner.

283 : Cursed Anonymous
So, in the end, is this matter going to be solved by management?

284 : Cursed Anonymous
I don’t think they’ll act if its indiscriminate PKing since the system acknowledges it after all.
However, there was abusive language amongst other offenses…… I think they’ll act because of that.

……

301 : Khaki Fang
I don’t know if I managed to get away or if it just overlooked me, but I’ve safely returned to the city.
Man, I have no idea what was out there, but it’s really bad news. Fingers crossed I don’t encounter it again.

302 : Cursed Anonymous
Well done, wait, town?

303 : Khaki Fang
Yep, town. Sacribase.

304 : Cursed Anonymous
Fuaa!? Why? Don’t you have abnormalities 6? AIEEEE!?(1)

305 : Khaki Fang
My appearance looks exactly as if I was just a light-brown dog.
Maybe that’s why, but if I just behave like a dog, the guards in the town will turn a blind eye towards me.
Ah, I’m at 7 abnormalities btw.

306 : Cursed Anonymous
I’m jealous.

307 : Cursed Anonymous
The biggest surprise today.

308 : Cursed Anonymous
A disguise, so that was an option too……

309 : Khaki Fang
I can’t talk or buy anything though lol
Anyways, I’m gonna go get petted by a friendly lady now.
