Fallen Hero System

Snow pilled high, it was winter time.

Tow kids could be seen in a local park, nobody else wanted to stay around when they approached.

"Alright… GO!"

It was Naruto and Rei, today they were having a snowman building competition.

Rei was working hard on a shin obi snowman while Naruto was on the side rolling up a ball of snow. I used the approach of sculpting from a pile of snow, Naruto was going classic.

Naruto quickly finished rolling up two large snowballs and stepped aside to see if he got it right. Noticing he did complete it good enough, he had set off at once to find the stones and accessories.

'Heh, I got this in the bag.' Naruto was obviously thinking in a very cocky manner.

Naruto rushed around the park and found plenty of black stones, he also a red blanket a few wooden poles and even a large bucket.

Naruto quickly rushed over to his snowman and placed on his items.

The arms were placed at a weird angle the mouth was made of a dog bowl that was found relier and it even had a nose the size of its arms, it wore the blanket similarly to a cape would be worn and finally on top it had the large bucket.

Curious as I'am i stare at the snowman 'Where have I seen this before?' then it hit me… Literally.

Naruto decided to deck me with a snowball seeing that I was staring at his snowman.

"What? Is my snowman so awesome that you just had to get lost staring at it?" He had his nose to the sky and me pissed.

After getting hit by the snowball I remember that the snowman looks similar to Luffy's from one piece on his way to Drum Kingdom.

Anyway, after Naruto let out his laughter he decided to look at what I was making, and then he froze.

If I didn't see his jaw slowly open I would think that he froze to death or something like the idiot he is.

Before him sat a statue of snow, one that greatly resembled the third Hokage, another for the second and first with finally the fourth at the far end. I had taken the time to create an amazing row of statues out of snow while he wondered off.

"Gah! I lost! But those statues are so cool!"

He looked to be having a small breakdown as he slowly approached his snowman from behind and before I knew what happened two heads of the Kages exploded.

"Fire the Snowman Cannon!!"

And then finally the last two had fallen…

"OY Idiot! Knock it off!"

We then proceeded to attack each other with as much snow as possible for the next half hour.

He used his snowman as a giant snowball and chased me with it and after getting hit I chased him, he carried a large amount of snowballs and threw them my way, I caught and returned them… And so on.

This was just one of the many ways that we had fun like we usually did.

We mainly only had each other, but it was fun and neither of us were left hanging in the wind.

Now it was the 29th of December.

And of course the night would come much earlier than usual, so we decided that since Yin didn't make enough dinner usually we would go out to buy ourselves some ramen. We really ate to much, why? Because we were not only growing and having fun but also finding many ways to train together.

We decided to train together a few days after we first met as it would bring better results, and so I gave him ways on how to train his chakra and he gave me his own ideas on future ninjutsu. I cannot put any into action currently but maybe later.

"Hey Rei."

I look to see what he wants.

"What's up? They might run out of ramen if we don't hurry."

He looks slightly annoyed at what I said but decides to pout out at a figure.

What we saw was another person, she seemed to be running somewhere in a real rush, so we obviously curious decided to approach and see why someone who is dressed for the cold is out in it.

"Excuse me?"

Naruto calls out to the other person.

Being surprised at suddenly being called out to they suddenly stop, yet due to this they end up losing their balance and falling face first into the snow.

"AH! Are you okay?!" This time I call out and rush over with Naruto in tow.

We quickly arrived over and helped the person up, the person was as I expected.

It was Hinata Hyuuga.

She directly looked into my eyes, I basically froze as I gazed into hers, she seemed a bit uncomfortable and tried to pull back; that was until she heard "So, beautiful."

She seemed a bit taken aback, and even Naruto was a little awkward hearing what I said.

"…Like Pearls or Opals. So -" But I realized what I was saying and quickly cut myself short of finishing.

Even my face began to glow red, while Hinata had steam coming off of her head.

'What did I just say?!?!' Yep, I was freaking out in my head.

Naruto can tell the shift in the atmosphere, he went and got a smug look on his face.

"Hehe~ Hey Rei, why don't you take her home. She could probably use a hand, and while you do that I could go and order some ramen for us. So get going, hehe."

I about knocked Naruto on his ass, even raising a clenched fist in his direction but I could only sigh.

"Alright, you go on ahead of me. Here is the n=money for the ramen, you know my usual order right?"

"Yeah yeah, I know. Alright see you later!"

He then took off at his fastest speed, I could only sigh for the hundredth time today.

I then look behind me to see Hinata with her fingers intwined and a still blushing face.

"Um, um. You don't have to take me home, I can tell that I interrupted you. So it's fine."

She seemed to not want to trouble me as I was on my way to eat dinner.

This only left me with a smile on my face.

"It's fine, just escorting you home is no big deal. Oh, and as you heard from my friend Naruto the name is Rei… Rei Muramasa."

"Um, Rei…-kun. My name is Hinata Hyuuga."

A wry smile was left on my face from the 'kun' she tagged onto my name.

"There is no need for any formalities. Now come along, which way do you live."

As we walked it hit me.

"Ah! Right, I'm sorry, you must be freezing with only that on. Here you can take my jacket."

After reminding her that she is only wearing a simple outfit I took off my winter jacket and helped her get into it so she can keep warm. Don't want her getting too cold.

"Oh, uh… Thnk blu. Ah…"

She bit her tongue…So cute. Hehe~.

As we approached her home I could only comment on its immense stature. Like the Hyuuga compound the anime does no just for the actual size.

My mouth only twitched for sometime.

"Well, it was fun getting to get to know you Hinata. Maybe we can friends? That way we can hangout together and have fun later. You could be friends with Naruto and my sister Yin as well."

She raised her head for the first time in a while and looked me straight in the eyes again, I smiled as she spoke in a questioning voice.

"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to be a bother."

"Heh, nonsense. Since when did I consider you a bother. I want to be your friends Hinata. So will you be mine?"

Now her face was bright red again, but she seemed to also be showing a bit of determination. and finally responded to me in a firm manner.

"Mm, let be friends."

Now I was all smiles with my red face.

"Okay then, I'll be taking my leave here, since nobody seems to be around you can hang onto my jacket for the time being. Alright see you later!"

And I was off leaving a heavily blushing Hinata in the snow.

Now she had a small almost unnoticeable smile appear.

"Yes, see you later Rei."

And later that night when i returned home without the jacket Yin got suer pissed and scolded me for half and hour, but it could have lasted longer had she not found out from Naruto i gave it to a girl.

'Hah~' I sigh my last for the day.
