Chapter 11

Chapter 11

The small monsters in the low-level dungeon were easy to fight, nothing too difficult.

In addition, the team that Gu Xian led was all very well-versed in operation, so it was effortless to fight those small waves of monsters.

It was boring to fight those few monsters, so they started chatting.

ZhanYiRuChao asked as he threw the daggers in his hand: “Master WenZi, didn’t come today, is it because he had a falling out with Master Mo?”

When he said this, Gu Xian who was releasing his skills from afar glanced over, and the sharpness of his eyes pierced him which made ZhanYiRuChao immediately coughed dryly while explaining: “I… I mean, wasn’t there a rumour that Master WenZi and Master Mo had a falling out over a woman in the game. I thought……”

“How can that be true, they are both the greatest players that we admired, and their bond is closer than blood-related brothers.” XiaoZhangErShao tsked twice: “There was a time when WenZi was provoked, Brother Mo hunted the users until they deleted their account and that deed had been celebrated to this day. How can this kind of relationship fall out because of a little issue?”

Wen Zhi sneered in her heart, that the fact that this matter had been extorted to such an extent was surprising.

It was just because a female player wanted to woo after Gu Xian and begged her to help to pull the connection.

That person was a regular customer of hers and often asked her to buy equipment or something, so she couldn’t refuse and made a little match-making. Little did she know that Gu Xian was so furious and the two duelled over it, with whoever lost would listen to the winner, and ended up she lost badly.

In the end, it was rumoured that they fought over a woman. These people sure had a really rich imagination.

“But Brother Mo, you’re just a little too nice to that kid too, giving money and equipment when asked. Even going through all the difficulties and danger with just a simple sentence.” XiaoZhangErShao teased: “You don’t bother with any female players yet you care so much about him, that sometimes I really think that you like men.”

The sky of fires burnt and extinguished all the small monsters in front of him, Gu Xian adjusted his sleeve robe and glance at XiaoZhangErShao before saying: “If you want to chat, go out and chat. If you want to clear the dungeon then shut up.”

“Fine, I’ll shut up.” XiaoZhangErShao shrugged: “WenZi didn’t show up for this meeting and thus our Brother Mo is in a bad mood all day so he can’t be messed with right now.”

Wen Zhi silently glanced at Gu Xian. In the dimly lit space in which his dark figure blended into the surrounding, his upright striding posture moving forward seem so detached and lonely.

Gu Xian was always cold to people, and only in her presence did he show a little patience.

The two of them built up their relationship when they played in the open server of the Heavenly Dream. At that time, they were both beginners and Gu Xian was a lonely and unfriendly person who didn’t like to team up with others so no one liked to play with him.

She had been following behind him like a little follower because she saw that Gu Xian was good at killing monsters quickly and it was so much easier in collecting materials and picking up items dropped by the monsters behind him.

However, she had been following him for quite some time, and Gu Xian only teamed up once or twice with her as it was needed for party missions, he didn’t even chat much.

It wasn’t until there was a time that he was robbed of a kill when he soloed a BOSS and the two party fought. The other party was the guild leader of a certain guild who gathered all the members and declared war with Gu Xian.

Seeing that Gu Xian was alone and helpless, she called everyone she knew in the game to help her.

Yet she didn’t have many friends, and all of them were merchants who only traded like her with little fighting strength.

She thought that they were going to lose, but then Gu Xian somehow found a group of helpers and fought until the other party disbanded the guild.

She didn’t really have much of a role to play in such a guild fight but as a result, she became Gu Xian’s regular teammate from then on.
As her mind drifted away, the wave of monsters had all been cleared.

Seeing her standing there in a daze, Gu Xian asked: “Not picking up items?”

Wen Zhi immediately returned to her senses and nodded vigorously: “Wait for me, it will be quick.”

XiaoZhangErShao who was standing by the side and being bored suddenly asked: “Bro, are you really going to cut ties with XingHuoLiaoYuan1?”

Gu Xian gave him a faint glance and drifted away to the figure that was quickly interspersed through the pile of monsters rummaging for items as he kept quiet.

“That kid may have tricked you with a false name, but there could be some other reason. It’s not a big deal so shouldn’t go so far right?”

XiaoZhangErShao wanted to be the peacemaker but Gu Xian replied: “As far as it goes.”

“It’s normal to use fake names online. You are being too serious, it’s such a small matter and we are all brothers so just forgive him.” XiaoZhangErShao saw that Gu Xian was unmoved, he continue to persuade him: “What I see is that you are having a double standard, if WenZi cheats you……”

He hadn’t even finished his sentence when Gu Xian cut him off: “He won’t.”

Wen Zhi’s hand trembled as she picked up her things.

XingHuoLiaoYua, she knew him too as they used to be in the same guild. His operation skills were quite good too and had been in a good relationship with Gu Xian and the others…..

Yet he just used a fake name and Gu Xian was going to break off their friendship……

What about her!

Not only did she lie about her gender to him……

She also promised that she would use back ChiSuDeWenZi as her username when she play the Desolate Forest of Demons.

If he found out……

No, definitely, he mustn’t found out who she was.
