Chapter 17

For the following dungeon, Gu Xian added back ShiXueYaoRao to took on all the erotic quests that needed to be completed by female players.

Although ShiXueYaoRao was not very skilled, Gu Xian couldn’t handle the nagging from Wen Zhi that she really didn’t want to have any physical contact with male players or NPCs. As he was too annoyed, he had finally compromised in the end.

One of the reasons why Wen Zhi dared to recite her nagging sutra in front of Gu Xian in such a reckless manner was because she knew his character well.

The reason why Gu Xian would team up with her was simply that he wanted to quickly clear the dungeon and levelling while becoming one of the first players in the entire service to reach the maximum level. With a teammate like her, whose skills were on par with his, he wouldn’t kick her out so easily.

Secondly, even if Gu Xian got annoyed and kicked her out of the party, she would still accept it since she had always wanted to distance herself from him anyway.

The most she would just do the ordinary quests, killing small monsters alone and slowly grind her level. She would just lose the level advantages and earn lesser that’s all.

To sacrifice her body and earn money, she really couldn’t do it.
Luckily, Gu Xian valued her abilities and didn’t kick her out.

Now she could level up in peace, without worrying that she had to do any erotic quests, Wen Zhi felt very satisfied with the outcome.

She and Gu Xian’s combat powers made up the lacking of ShiXueYaoRao, and such a party that worked together so efficiently could easily clear all those dungeons.

After playing day and night for almost a week, they had all rose to level 35.

For those players who chose to go to Momiya and took on the erotic quests, Wen Zhi didn’t know how fast their levelling speed was. Yet for those players who chose to go to Kunnatu to take on the monster fight and levelling, their group currently was the fastest.

After reaching level 30, players could activate the merchant system and Wen Zhi could finally do some small business.

As there was an online time limit in the Desolate Forest of Demons, players were forced to go offline for 24 hours after a continuous play of 168 hours which was a week of playing. Therefore, their small party broke up when they saw it was about time, and made an appointment to go back online after the 24 hours limitation.

Only when Wen Zhi didn’t enter the dungeon, she then had the time to learn forging, alchemy, medicine, and a host of other skills that could produce consumables items.

She wanted to craft the materials she had collected into equipment and consumables to sell them in the merchant system so that even if she was offline for 24 hours, there was no delay in doing business.

Players would be able to buy items for sale from merchants after level 10. Everyone needs equipment and consumables during the beginning phase, and this was a great opportunity for her to make money.

With an hour left to go offline, she finally finished crafting everything and opened the merchant system to prepare to sell them. There were already other players selling basic potions and quite a few materials for crafting consumables and equipment.

After calculating the total asset she had for now, without any hesitation, she bought away most of the materials, low-priced equipment, and consumables before selling them again at a moderate price.

She used to do all these when she was playing Heavenly Dreams by buying low-priced items and selling them higher to earn the price differences.

Now that she had a level advantage and not many players could craft equipment and consumables. All she had to do was to set the price a little lower than the maximum price. Based on her experience, players would consider buying from her first as she was higher level before considering purchasing from others.

When she came online again later, she would be able to earn a small profit.

Just as she was pleased with her little calculation, Gu Xian’s voice suddenly rang out: “Buying low and reselling it high?”

Wen Zhi froze and looked up at the person who spoke while approaching her.

Items sold in the merchant system would have the name of the seller shown. Suddenly, lots of low-priced items had disappeared and then showed up again under her name in the merchant system.

The Great God was so smart, so he must have guessed it.
