Beyond the office floor is a cafeteria, residential area, and warehouse. I ran as fast as I could to the section in the back where only the executives and some staff can enter. This area has strict security and can only be entered by fingerprint authentication.

The Punishment cell.

The place that all members of Chaos Saga except Memeno were afraid of. Members who failed their missions were put here as punishment. It’s a metal prison with only a small peephole and air holes. No sounds can be heard in this space and only a small amount of light shines in, which is quite a difficult thing for a decent human being to bear. Of course, there is no effect on Memeno.

I held my finger over the sensor on the door of the punishment cell.

There was a metallic sound. There is only cool air and a toilet jar inside. Once inside, you can’t open it from there easily.

“Mayuzumi. I’m sorry for doing this.”

I closed the door of the punishment cell and there was only silence.

Suddenly, the thin air was mixed with the hot air that clung to me. The heat gradually strengthened, and the inside of the punishment cell became like a steam bath.

“Oh. I’ve got something really important, so there’s no use for Chaos Saga anymore.”
