Fishing started to be updated on June 18, 2019, and ended today, November 3, 2022, three years and four and a half months, with a cumulative word count of 10.01 million words. On average, about 250,000 words are updated every month.

To be honest, I also admire myself a bit. I have never written such a long book. I expected it to end at five or six million words at most. Who would have written so much.

In the past three years, many things have happened, such as getting married, having children, and raising children. Tsk tsk, it's really hard to have a baby.

I remember when this book was the hardest, there were three periods, the beginning, the Shiwandashan part, and the end. The beginning is very grueling, because simply writing about fishing can’t last for a long time. You can’t always fish and describe the underwater world. I wrote all kinds of secret realms and underwater scenes at that time. I have searched all kinds of books and information. Perhaps, this is the reason why no one has written about this topic before. So after the beginning, in the early stage of the fragmented star island, it began to slowly change to the traditional fantasy, but maintained the characteristics of the ocean.

The part about the 100,000 Dashan Mountain, that is, the part about getting to know Ximen Linglan, may have been written a little bit around, so at the beginning of the writing, the response was not very good. I was under a lot of pressure every day, and I was afraid that the writing would collapse. After all, I'm not a god, I don't dare to mess around, I'm really trying my best to write and conceive.

But the hardest thing to write is the ending. To be honest, in the last volume, I was writing a detailed outline for almost every chapter. After all, there are almost 10 million words in the whole book, the length is too long, and there are too many foreshadowings left. There is no way, it has to be closed, and it has to be collected reasonably, and it can connect the upper and lower parts. Sometimes, when writing a chapter, you have to make up a long story of the cause and effect, so the ending really makes my scalp tingle. Fortunately, I finally got through it, and finally at the end, the whole person relaxed.

I know that there are some foreshadowings that have been missed, and some holes that have not been filled, but they cannot be filled by force, so let them go with the wind!

It's a supplement to the finale! Nine-tone bell! Luo Xiaobai! It was confiscated from the main text before, but the extra part was closed, so although the extra part is more like the ending, I still put the finale in the previous chapter.

The reason why Luo Xiaobai has children first is because children are needed to balance her emotions. Also, I am selfish! The role of Luo Xiaobai was kept unmarried and too lonely. I don't want to marry, and I don't think other people in the book are worthy. In the end, it was left to Han Fei. Who gave me Han Fei the aura of the protagonist?

I guess you must have guessed it, hahaha...

Well, let’s get down to business, the ending of fantasy novels is usually difficult. As I said before, Xuanhuan, if you want to keep writing down and create enemies for the protagonist, you must have an infinitely strong enemy, so that you can keep writing in the future. But what this infinite strength is, the author himself does not know.

I can bet that when Chen Dong wrote the Trilogy of Covering the Sky, he also wrote the final stage of the Holy Ruins, and then made up the final enemy. In the shading and perfect world, it just created an infinitely powerful unknown enemy. If it wasn't necessary to make up an enemy, he probably wouldn't make it up. Haha, it's just dragging, and I'm the same way.

In short, the fishing is well written, and the good and bad points have been pointed out by everyone. Some people gave up at the beginning, some gave up in the middle, and some followed to the end. All I can say is, thank you for the friends who keep chasing.

A book is difficult to be perfect, it is mixed, there are people who like it, and naturally there are also people who don't like it. I just write it with my heart.

As for many people asking if there is a follow-up to the second part of fishing, or the fishing universe?

All I can say is, probably not! Although I reserved the foreshadowing of the world mirror and several other worlds at the end, I have already written the ominous BOSS. Unless I think of a particularly good idea and brain hole, I will consider it, otherwise, I will not write it for the time being.

At this moment, easy, unprecedented ease. Tomorrow I'm going to sleep until 8:30, and then choose another day to do a full-body checkup, and then take a rest for a week, reading books and watching dramas. Well, it's already quite a luxury. Of course, the baby still has to be carried.

About the new book, it is natural to write. The specific time is estimated to be a month or two! Should be soon. The subject matter of the direction is already there, and there is still a little brain hole, but it still needs to be considered. Think about the writability of the subject matter, and then grind the beginning and the like. I will notify you when I open the book.
