He’s So Sweet After Class

Pan Zhe was so appalled by the sudden appearance of Jiang Chenming that he couldn’t speak for a while. He knew well that this alpha was so much stronger than himself. Those pheromones alone could oppress him to the point he could barely speak.

Pan Zhe gritted his teeth and finally reluctantly walked away.

Jiang Chenming released his grip on Mo Lingqiu’s hand.”Teacher, are you okay?”

“Yes, thanks.” Mo Lingqiu said gratefully. Honestly, he was planning to directly rip into Pan Zhe back then.

“Do you and that person… know each other?” Jiang Chenming took another glance at the direction Pan Zhe left and asked uncertainly.

Mo Lingqiu pursed his lips; he felt a little awkward. He originally asked Pan Zhe to be at the station so he could tell him face to face clearly to avoid entanglement. But unfortunately, Jiang Chenming saw it, and now he didn’t know if he should explain about it.

Jiang Chenming stared at his side profile for a moment and then sighed. “It’s okay, forget it if you don’t want to talk about it. Let’s go eat.”

Mo Lingqiu saw the big bag of steaming food he was carrying in his hand and made up his mind to explain, “It’s the blind date my parents arranged for me, I’ve already rejected it when they came on the first day.”

“Then? Why did he come to see you today?” Though Jiang Chenming said ‘nothing’ in his mouth, but in his heart, he cared a lot. As soon as Mo Lingqiu started talking about it, he began asking questions.

Seeing him being so impatient, Mo Lingqiu felt a little happy in his heart. “My father persuaded me to add him and tell him clearly. He learned that I was at the station at this time today, and since he also seemed to have just returned from a business trip,  he said he wanted to meet me. I thought of refusing in person, so I agreed.”

“And then..?”

“Then you’ve seen what happened.” Mo Lingqiu’s voice gradually became softer as he spoke, “I initially wanted to settle it before you came.”

“You don’t want me to know about it?” Jiang Chenming pressed closer to Mo Lingqiu, trying to get an answer to his question.

Mo Lingqiu turned his head. “Didn’t you see what would happen if you knew it?”

Jiang Chenming stared at his good-looking side profile, the Teacher Mo today had spoken a lot, although it made him angry at first, but now, listening to each of his words made him a little happy.

“Yes, I’m angry, I’m jealous, I’m envious.” Jiang Chenming grasped onto Mo Lingqiu’s hand. “Teacher Mo, I’m your Alpha. It would be good if you’re my Omega someday.”

Mo Lingqiu allowed him to pull his hand, he didn’t break free from it, but he was still embarrassed. His whole face reddened. “I know, we’ll talk about it afterwards.”

“En, let’s go eat.” Jiang Chenming held his hand and led him to the station’s underground parking garage, after turning here and there, they stopped at a black Land Rover.

Mo Lingqiu always felt that this black Land Rover looked a bit familiar, but he didn’t have much recollection on where he had seen it before.

“Get in the car.” Jiang Chenming pulled open the car door and asked Mo Lingqiu to get in.

Mo Lingqiu froze. “… Your car?”

“Yeah, didn’t we sit in it once before?” When Jiang Chenming heard his words, he laughed out loud. “When I picked you up at the food street previously, did you forget about it?”

Mo Lingqiu suddenly came to his senses. He remembered, and certainly would not forget again, it was the day when he agreed to Jiang Chenming marking him.

After both of them sat in the car one after the other, Jiang Chenming winded down the window halfway and opened the KFC bag in his hand, he then took out the spicy wing Mo Lingqiu loved to eat.

“Here.”

“Thanks.” Mo Lingqiu took the spicy wing, just the smell of it made his stomach growl.

Jiang Chenming watched him eat while handing him a napkin, while the driver in the driver’s seat looked forward and drove steadily.

“Where are we going?” Mo Lingqiu ate until he was half full before he remembered to ask where he was going.

“I haven’t decided yet. Teacher, do you need to go back to school?” Jiang Chenming raised his hand to wipe away a crumb from the corner of Mo Lingqiu’s mouth and asked gently.

“… No need for now.” He had taken a two-day leave because of this business trip.

“Then do you wanna go watch a movie?” Jiang Chenming said, “I don’t have anything to do today as well, and I’m competing again tomorrow.”

“What are we watching?”

“Let me check.” Jiang Chenming said as he took out his phone to scroll through the recent movie list and picked a few that had a good rating, he then showed them to Mo Lingqiu.

After discussing it for a while, the two decided to go watch an adventure documentary. Jiang Chenming quickly bought movie tickets for the right time slot, and after the driver was informed of the address, he made a turn at the junction in front of him and soon arrived at the destination.

After exchanging the movie tickets, Jiang Chenming went to the front desk and bought a bucket of popcorn and two Cokes, he then checked in and entered with Mo Lingqiu.

Their seats were in the last second row, as the hall in the cinema was not big, the last second row was just right for their sight.

“Here.” After Jiang Chenming sat down, he handed the popcorn to Mo Lingqiu.

Mo Lingqiu asked him, “Don’t you want to eat?”

“Later.” Jiang Chenming came here after eating lunch and had even accompanied Mo Lingqiu to eat KFC, so he felt a bit full. 

“Oh.” Mo Lingqiu didn’t continue asking, he held the popcorn bucket and waited for the opening.

This was the first time the two came out to watch a movie, or rather, he finally came out to watch a movie for once.

Mo Linqiu usually preferred to watch documentaries at home. There were many platforms available on the computer, so the natural documentaries provided were innumerable. When the latest documentary was released, he wouldn’t necessarily rush to the cinema to watch it, since they would all be uploaded into the app after it had been taken down from the cinema. Unless he encountered a genre that he really liked, he would go to the cinema alone to watch it.

This time, it was an adventure documentary, about an adventurer exploring an unknown territory. Mo Linqiu was quite interested in it, so he picked this among a bunch of new movies.

The film started to play and Mo Linqiu watched very carefully. As for Jiang Chenming, he would ask Mo Lingqiu when he didn’t understand it at first, but later, he slowly fell asleep.

Mo Linqiu was completely unaware that he fell asleep. He watched intently until the end of the movie when the lights of the cinema hall were switched on. He stood up with his things and saw Jiang Chenming leaning on his seat,sleeping really deeply.

He hesitated to wake this person up. Maybe the movie was too boring, he thought, and not to this person’s taste, hence falling asleep.

After thinking about it, Mo Lingqiu went back to his seat and sat down. Jiang Chenming only opened his eyes when the cleaner auntie told them that she was starting to clear up the place. 

Jiang Chenming sat in his seat in a daze for a while, he then suddenly remembered what he had just done, feeling embarrassed and apologetic.

The two walked out of the movie hall one after the other. Jiang Chenming immediately apologized, “I’m sorry, I accidentally fell asleep.”

“It’s okay.” Mo Lingqiu was not bothered by it,he was quite happy to watch the movie.

“I’ll watch another one with you next time?”

Mo Lingqiu slightly raised his head. When he wanted to say “it’s fine”, he noticed the dark blue under his eyes. “… You stayed up late last night?”

“Ah… not really.” Jiang Chenming explained, “I helped the student council with something yesterday and it ended a little late.”

Mo Lingqiu frowned. “What time did you sleep?”

“… Four o’clock.”

“Let’s go back.” Mo Lingqiu sighed, took the lead and walked out.

Jiang Chenming thought he was angry and quickly followed him. “Teacher Mo, I should have told you earlier.”

“Go back to sleep, I’m sleepy too.” Mo Lingqiu said, tugging Jiang Chenming’s wrist, it was quite rare for him to be this persistent.

Jiang Chenming froze for a moment and held Mo Lingqiu’s hand “Okay, then let’s go back to sleep.”
