Holy Idol

Chapter 2 - Dominating real-time search terms

2. Dominating real-time search terms

As soon as the music ended they walked down the stage. The young man with glasses ran over and shouted, grabbing Rembrary’s arm roughly.

“Hey, you bastard! What are you doing? Do you want us to die together?”

The young man with glasses who came running had his eyes wide open.

Rembrary cried out in surprise, grabbing his hair with his left hand.

“Are you crazy? Are you out of your mind? Are you intending to sink just because you can’t float?! You want to leave your name but you just made a big mistake by leaving it labeled as the biggest broadcast incident of all time.”

Where did the man who cheered me up earlier go? His face is very terrifying.

The young man with glasses screamed with veins protruding on his neck, but the music on the stage was so loud that it didn’t have an effect.

“Crazy son of a bitch, come here!”

Perhaps the young man with glasses noticed something. So, he grabbed Rembrary’s arm and pulled him.

They returned to the waiting room and then he continued yelling after he let go of Rembrary’s arm.

“What were you doing? What were you thinking, huh? Don’t you know that there are dozens, no, hundreds, waiting to be on stage? I want you to get your head straight. Do you want to be a celebrity!? You’re really… Do you know how much I put in stake to get this one stage?”

He couldn’t even speak properly.

He beat himself on the chest in anger.

The young men who were on stage with him were also sarcastic in turn. “Was this for the money? Who wanted you to ruin the stage? You want to take control of the real-time search keyword?”

“My goodness…”

“He cut off our last lifeline.”

“If you want to die, die alone. No, you’d be crazy if you died alone.” Rembrary still didn’t know what was going on.

However, he was able to notice that the atmosphere was very bad.

“There were no chairs.”

Rembrary calmly explained the situation to the young man with glasses.

“Didn’t you tell me to sit on a chair? But there were no chairs.”

“I don’t want to hear that tone of yours, so cut it off! Do you think you should be playing a joke in the middle of this?!”

Rembrary guessed that it wasn’t important to them.

The yellow-haired young man clicked his tongue and mocked himself—how ironic.

” It doesn’t take a day or two for an unknown idol to be able to understand this? You should have been in the corner because you knew it.”

“I’m an unknown idol?”

Rembrary, who considered “idol” to be the last name or the name of the body he entered, asked in embarrassment.

“Then, are you an unknown idol or a famous idol?”

The young man with glasses struggled to suppress the sarcasm in his voice.

Rembrary now learned that “idol” was not this person’s name nor his last name.

It was like a job to be famous for obscurity.

Or something like that.

What was certain was that the words seemed to make sense but Rembrary’s world was just very different.

What’s the point of talking?

There were too many words that were hard to understand.

As soon as Rembrary realized this, he quickly displayed his wit and explained himself.

“As that yellow-haired said earlier, I hit my head this morning.”

Rembrary pointed his finger at the side of his head.

“There seems to be a problem. I don’t even know who you are right now.”

He himself was also finding it hard to believe when he entered this person’s body.

To be honest, you wouldn’t believe it if I said ‘I’m the High Priest, Rembrary, and I was trying to save the world a few hours ago.’

I thought it would be better to put it around like this.

“I’m telling the truth!!”

But the young man with glasses only patted his chest and didn’t believe Rembrary at all.

At that moment, someone knocked on the waiting room door.

“You guys, stay here! Don’t even go to the bathroom!”

When the screaming young man with glasses was already outside, the young men took turns criticizing Rembrary.

What the hell was this…

Rembrary became sullen and approached the door.

He hasn’t even put his ear against the door when he heard a loud shout from outside.

“Wild Animal will never appear from now on, never unless dirt goes into my eyes! I will not put on their music on the stage!”

“No, Producer Woo. What do you mean by that? I’m sorry. It’s because he’s not feeling well today. I’m telling you, we’ll explain it in a proper article.”

“He’s been standing upright but he’s not feeling well?”

“Oh, he didn’t want to show it. He’s so pale right now. They, together with Yeon-woo, are crying in the waiting room because they’re sorry.”

“That’s your situation. This is not the time for me to argue with others. I’m going to get ripped too! If he was sick, you could’ve asked me to bring him a chair!”

“I’m sorry, uh, it’s my fault. I should have brought a chair!”

Rembrary lowered his gaze awkwardly.

He doesn’t know who got angry.

But the voice of the one apologizing to the angry man was definitely the voice of the young man with glasses.

He yelled and scolded him here.

But when he went outside, he was flustered and was protecting Rembrary.

What the hell is going on?

Rembrary sighed.

* * *

– Coincidental silence.

– By Coincidence, I don’t know how to dance.

– Wild Animal Woo Yeon-Woo

– Woo Yeon-Woo

– Wild Animal

– Idol on a live show

– Music in a Broadcasting Accident

A thumb went up and down quickly, scrolling the screen of a black cellphone.

CEO Lim flipped through the screen with blank eyes, sighed, and looked at Jong-woo.

Jong-woo, the manager of the idol group , had his head down.

“Jong-woo.”

CEO Lim called him with a limp voice.

“Yes, sir.”

“Have you searched for real-time searches?”

“…Yes.”

“I mean it.”

“Yes.”

“Have you ever seen my agency’s family take control of the search terms like this?”

“I’m sorry.”

Jong-woo managed to answer without even raising his head.

“He said he lost his memory…”

“Jong-woo, do you believe that?”

“No …”

CEO Lim leaned his head against the chair.

Wild Animal, a three-year idol group nicknamed a nuclear submarine.

Wild Animal’s agency, LLL Entertainment, was originally an actor-specialized entertainment.

Afterwards, when the K-pop Korean Wave broke out and several idol groups emerged rapidly as the main concept of the craze, LLL Entertainment also launched an idol group as rapidly to keep up with the trend of the times.

That was Wild Animal.

But the unprepared group, contrary to its ambition to do well somehow, was not very energetic.

In order to receive good songs, he visited famous composers and invited foreign choreographers to arrange complicated group dance moves.

He invested a large amount of his budget in Wild Animal instead of his actors.

But amid countless idol groups, Wild Animal couldn’t dance.

There was a lot of talk about just turning it upside down, but since it was the first group to launch, CEO Lim continued to pour money with affection.

I didn’t give you a good meal and good accommodation, but I tried to give you good songs and good choreographies.

He persuaded – almost brainwashed – himself that they would float if he held out.

Their faces are all useful, so if it isn’t sure, let’s proceed with them as actors later. And since their faces aren’t known, they’ll be criticized less for “Idoling to act.”

However, they had such a big incident.

CEO Lim made a very pained noise.

Woo Yeon-woo was even a well-known member of Wild Animal.

Although he was as popular as a rat, this tiny recognition was also important when it comes to unknown idol groups.

“Listen— No, no. Come and see for yourself.”

CEO Lim clicked on the article that people viewed the most on the Internet entertainment news and then showed the best comments.

“Come on, look at the order of the recommendations from here.”

– Did you name the group Wild Animal because their head is wild? hahha

– The head seems to be wild, too.

– It is an all-time mentality. If that’s what you’re doing in your right mind, you have to admit it.

“….”

– If you look at the group name Wild Animal, do you see yourself in the other? LOL

– I’ve never seen an idol who has that much guts on stage in my life.

– Isn’t it because they don’t have money?

– I bet 100 won that this will float.

↳ 1100 won more for this floor.

– Idols can just stand up these days? The world is great. I think I’ll do it, too.

↳ I can’t do it.

– Well, that’s a pretty good name, though.

– By the way, did he get plastic surgery?

↳ stupid fu***er

– I don’t know how to dance!

↳ HAHAHHAHHA

↳ But why did he shout this?

↳ Probably has a problem with his agency.

The more CEO Lim lowered the screen with his finger, the lower Jong-woo’s head went.

“No way. I don’t have to tell you.”

With a sigh, Lim dropped his cell phone on his desk as he spoke.

“Call Woo Yeon-woo.”

After getting out of the waiting room and riding in a strange car, they went back to the new building.

It was smaller than the first building they were from. As soon as they entered the building, their manager left Rembrary and other young men behind and went straight somewhere.

The other young men dispersed in a more comfortable manner than before, as if they knew where this was.

Rembrary stood there in a muddle.

A long time later.

The young man with glasses came in and asked in surprise.

“Have you been standing here all this time?”

When Rembrary simply stared blankly, he snooped his head and said, frowning.

“Follow me for now.”

The place he guided him to was a room. When he entered the room, a large desk with a plaque reading ‘CEO Lim Sun-ill’ placed on top of it came into view.

Behind the desk sat a man with a hollow impression. When he saw Rembrary, he sighed and called out, “Woo Yeon-woo.”

As soon as Rembrary confirmed the nameplate “CEO” on his desk, he immediately noticed that the man was of a higher position than the young man with glasses.

Besides, unlike other young men who were overwhelmed, he looked relatively calm.

Rembrary tried to talk with some hope as soon as he made his judgment.

“Lim Sun-il. I have something to say.”

But as soon as Rembrary finished speaking, the young man with glasses was startled and pressed the back of Rembrary’s head.

“I’m sorry, Sir! Hey, why are you talking down to him? Are you crazy?!”

The young man in glasses was on the verge of fainting.

He can’t believe Rembrary spoke informally when he’s not good enough to beg.

His heart was pounding.

However, instead of getting angry, CEO Lim opened his eyes wide and waved his hand.

“Wait a minute.”

When the young man with glasses removed his hand, Rembrary’s head, which he had forced to lower, rose back.

CEO Lim was staring at Rembrary with a serious face.

When their eyes met, he raised his eyebrows, and after a while, he frowned.

Then suddenly, he got up from the desk and walked to the bookshelf.

From the bookshelf, he took out an album then took out a small piece of paper within.

CEO Lim asked, sticking out the paper to Rembrary.

“Do you know who they are?”

There was a realistic portrait painted on the paper.

“I don’t know. Why?”

When Rembrary answered, CEO Lim clicked his tongue.

“You must’ve really lost your memory.”

The young man with glasses also made a sound in response.

When Rembrary looked at him wondering what was wrong with him, CEO Lim said in a vain voice.

“It’s a picture of your parents.”
