I Have Seven Dragon Souls In a cultivation world

213 Chapter 213: Rebecca's battle formation!

She could already feel the unrest and despair starting to spread across her legion of warriors.

"Wake up!" Roared Rebecca.

"You see a few dead bodies and you nearly shit yourselves!"

"How embarrassing, and to think you dare call yourselves men!"

The instant they heard Rebecca's roars, the army was snapped from their stupor.

It was fine to be scared, but which self-respecting man would let themselves be ridiculed to this extent and by a girl old enough to be some of their daughters!

Seeing the change in attitude of her army, Rebecca smiled before roaring out again.

"Seeing as you've got your spine back, stop dawdling around and get in formation! You don't want to join that undead army do you!"

"No Ma'am!" shouted the soldiers

"If you don't want to die, stop crying and get in formation!"

"Yes mam!" roared the soldiers

Quickly the soldiers drew their spears quickly arranging themselves into formation drilled into their minds.

As all this was happening, Rebecca wasn't idle either.

Slowly, Rebecca began to stretch out her mental energy , linking to each soldier under her until eventually, a spirit array was formed.

In that instant,  a raging wave of purple energy spread out across the legion of hundreds of soldiers as the dark, bloody abyssal aura slowly polluted the battlefield.

Glaring yellow eyes, eerie purple skin, and most overwhelmingly, a humongous mouth with giant teeth.

Once again, The Gaping Maw of the Vaenam kingdom had been summoned towards the battlefield!

"Roar!"

The phantom of the beast roared towards the heavens as the soldiers within the formation shook, but this time it wasn't out of fear. On the contrary, this was of joy.

Never in their lives had the soldiers felt such an amount of power within them.

But unlike the elation of her soldiers, Rebecca was in a much worse predicament.

Floating overhead, Rebecca was smack bang in the middle of the phantom beast.

'Fuck!' Cursed Rebecca.

The stress Rebecca was going through was unimaginable.

Somehow, she was having to manage and compensate for the connections of hundreds of different soldiers all at once.

Cultivators were truly superhuman and the only ones that could ever hope to achieve such a thing.

If a regular human tried to manage a formation of such a scale, their brain would instantly burst from the overwhelming amount of information flowing through them at every second.

But just because Rebecca was a cultivator didn't mean she had it all easy.

Even with her years of experience from the Hidden Dragon Academy, a battle formation of nearly 800 soldiers was still outside of her depth.

'30 minutes,' thought Rebecca

'I have just thirty minutes before I won't be able to keep this up anymore and the formation collapses. I must end this fight before then!'

With crazed, murderous eyes, Rebecca locked onto the horde of undead creatures in front of her and roared.

"Soldiers, Attack!"

...

Back at the fortress, Bandit Lord Jaxson watched on from a slightly worried position

At first he was left both stunned and reassured at the corpse Master's display of power.

Despite working with the man over the years, he had never seen him display something so daunting, but before he could relax, he saw Rebecca's 800 man battle formation!

Grabbing his axe, Jaxson glared at the army that was now destroying the hordes of zombies in their path.

If things continued as they were now, it would only be a matter of time before they would beseech his fortress.

Jaxson was never one to wait for destruction.

If a fight was coming, then he would take it to them!

But before Jaxson could leave, he suddenly felt a bony hand on his shoulder

"Wait…"

Jaxson turned towards the sound of the hoarse voice, only to see the sunken face of the Corpse Master staring at him.

"What are you doing?" Asked jaxson, his annoyance slowly increasing.

"Take a moment and look"

Looking in the direction the corpse master stated, Jaxson could see Dante sitting calmly on his steed.

Dante also seemed to notice the gaze of his two biggest threats and, in turn, responded with a polite smile.

"You see that? The calmness of the boy, he clearly has other plans. We can't afford to fall into the momentum he's set for us."

"We will only be able to win this fight if we can slowly force his hand to act.

The party who had the strongest cards at the deciding moment will always win, and that's why we need to be calm and draw them out to strike."

Jaxson wasn't a fool.

He quickly understood the premise of the corpse Master. The only problem was that they weren't in a position to hold their cards.

If nothing was done, Rebecca's army would be tearing down their front door!

"Corpse Master, I understand your points, but don't tell me you don't see what's happening to your little army of undead? At this rate, they won't last much longer."

But instead of being affected by Jaxson's words, the Corpse Master just slowly smiled

"You do not know the extent of my power. Just watch."

In response to that bold statement, Jaxson just turned back towards the battlefield and observed….

......

Back on the battlefield,

Rebecca was pushing the army to their limits.

The phantom of the abyssal maw roasted as rows of warriors were swiftly and efficiently manoeuvred allowing the army to slowly move forward, annihilating anything in their path.

But things didn't stay positive for long.

"Rumble!Rumble!"

Suddenly a Loud roar erupted as the ground beneath their feet began to shake. Slowly a terrifying storm of black miasma appeared some small distance in front of the army and once the smoke faded, it left behind a giant 20 ft Skelton!

The image of a giant undead creature was something that could scare almost anyone, but the truly horrifying thing was the Martial Adept level aura radiating from the creature.

"Kekeke!"

Suddenly, the loud twisted laughter of a man could be heard ringing in the ears of everyone present.
