Zhongli Zixi originally shouldn’t have such a worn-out wooden box, and there are no more tattered wooden boxes to be found in the entirety of Zhongli Court.

This wooden box is one Yaksha himself made out of pieces of wood he collected, the workmanship is rough and not worth looking at. This was originally a sword box, specially made to contain the sword the Second Young Master had given him, the inside still pitifully padded with the best silk Yaksha was able to acquire.

Yaksha arrived empty-handed when he came, and he left empty-handed when he was expelled, everything he’d been given he left behind in its original place, this wooden box too had long been forgotten here.

Later, while cleaning up, the Second Young Master threw out the sword that was carefully stored inside, but kept this clumsily-made box.

Nowadays, the inside of the box contains the reports of those tasked with following the tracks of Yaksha after being expelled.

Today Yaksha was bought by a new Master.
