Su Lian nods her head but still remains in deep thought.

She knows it's wrong to keep Han Yuan in the dark about their son.

No matter what had happened between them in the past, he had every right to know and so did Xiao Chen.

She was just so uncertain. She hates making decisions without being sure of the outcome.

She has no idea how Han Yuan will react to this if she were to tell him. Will he want full custody? Will he try to co-parent?

Most importantly, she didn't want him to be a part of their lives. He hurt her and she hasn't forgiven him.

But would her baby hate her if he ever found out that she hid him from his father?

"I'll think about it- about telling him."

...

Su Lian walks into her office and immediately walks back out.

She must have wandered into the wrong place.

She looks at the door with uncertainty.

But this is the door that leads to her office. It is the only office with double doors on the entire floor so what the hell is going on?

Bella sees Su Lian standing in the hallway looking extremely confused so she runs up to her. "Is there a problem Ms. Su?"

"Yeah, there is. I can't seem to find my office."

Bella at first wants to laugh at Su Lian's joke, but when she sees her serious face she becomes worried.

'She isn't kidding. She really can't identify the office right in front of her. Is stress making her delusional?'

"Ms. Su, this is your office."

Su Lian shakes her head. "Check for yourself, it can't be."

Bella opens the door and becomes mortified at the sight.

The entire room is filled with flowers, teddy bears, 'i love you' posters, chocolates, hearts, and every other cliche romantic item you could imagine.

From the ceiling to the floor, it has been decorated carefully and beautifully giving off a cozy atmosphere. The office looks like it was been set up for a Valentine's day party.

"Miss- I -uh. This place really is your office. But it wasn't like this yesterday."

"Someone must have done all of this overnight." Bella manages to collect herself. "I'll go check the security cameras."

Su Lian raises her hand to stop her. "There's no need. Just go back to work."

She didn't need to think twice before knowing who was behind all of this.

She walks in and looks at a basket of chocolates sitting on her desk. There was a pink envelope laying on top.

She opens it up to read the card inside.

'To my dearest Lian,

This is my morning's gift for you. Even though it cannot be compared to the gift you gave me when we met five years ago. I miss everything about you, my beloved. Your smile, your laugh, your frown, and your touch. I never want to sleep another night without you by my side. I will surely make you my bride.

-Yours truly, Yuan.'

"What a cringey note." Su Lian scoffs to herself before tossing the card away. "How could I have dated someone who can't even flirt."

Although she criticizes the 'love letter', her eyes don't leave chocolates. Being a sweet tooth, she has no resistance to these.

"I'll have just one," she says and tries to reach for the basket, but her hand gets seized.

She feels his arms wrap around her waist from behind and inhales his familiar scent.

"You don't want my sweet words, but you want my sweet treats.

"I don't think it works like that."
