Deng Xiao returns to Han Yuan's office roughly thirty minutes later covered in sweat.

He feels very proud of himself. He had managed to get a ticket to the concert even though it was completely sold out.

Kim Xia is a very famous artist and the concert is tonight so getting this ticket was almost impossible, but he pulled through.

With a beaming smile, he walks in front of his boss expecting high praise or maybe even a reward but he only gets a quick glance.

"I don't need it anymore, you can go if you want." Han Yuan casually tosses a sentence before packing up his things and walking out.

Downstairs in the lobby, most of the employees are also getting ready to leave. They all greet him on his way out.

"Mr. Han, are you leaving now?"

Han Yuan turns around and sees Shen Xun standing behind him.

"I- I was wondering if you could drop me off at your parent's home. Mother just invited me to dinner."

He glances at his watch before looking back up at her.

Lili told him not to come to the concert anymore so he decided to reschedule a dinner meeting he had previously cancelled with an associate for tonight.

That's where he's heading now.

"What happened to your car?"

Shen Xun's cheeks turn red. "It's at a mechanic shop for repairs. I was careless and crashed it this morning."

"Have Lee drop you off." He turns around and walks toward his parked Maybach without sparing her another glance.

Shen Xun does seem to mind his rude behaviour. She just gazes at his receding figure with her eyes filled with love and adoration.

Sarah, Han Yuan's secretary snickers in contempt after witnessing the scene unfold. Shen Xun getting spurned by their boss is a regular occurrence, but she never learns.

How can you ask your employer to drop you off?

Can't you take a taxi?

She actually hates this Shen Xun girl. She always tries to prevent her and all the other female employees from getting near Mr. Han.

They are just trying to do their jobs but she makes it seem as if they are trying to sacrifice her only child.

"Did she try to get some alone time with the boss again?" Sun Tang, another young woman with pale brown eyes walks up to Sarah and asks.

"What do you think? Some people just don't know when to give up."

The two girls laugh.

"She is simply delusional. Reality is gonna hit her hard in the face once Mr. Han gets married."

Sarah looks at Sun Tang in surprise. "He's getting married?"

"Not now, but he will eventually. I mean just look at him. He's rich, handsome and powerful."

Sarah nods her head in agreement. "Of course he'll get married eventually, but it won't be to that stoned face thing."

"With her messed up appearance does she actually think she has a chance with him."

The two girls continue to talk and laugh as they walk towards the parking lot.

Shen Xun stares at their backs and caresses her scarred face. An evil glint flashes through her eyes.

She heard every word they said.

She's delusional?

They're clearly the delusional ones.

If she wants something, no one can stop her from having it.

And if anyone tries to get in her way, the only end for them is death.
