The high-spirited aristocrat was restless with contemplation. Another man, who seemed at least flexible, caught him by the shoulder.

“Just hand it over before it gets any bigger. It would be better to end this well without you getting accused.”

The drug-smuggling aristocrat looked at Lecter and Cole alternately with reluctance. Soon, he gave out the rustling paraphernalia one by one with a grumble. Soon the druggies turned away empty-handed. Cole, who was still wearing an image of arrogance, raised his pocket with his index finger and thumb.

“I can’t even do this because of the smell. Where else did that dirty child put it in?”

“It can’t be helped. It’s a relief that it’s only a deal, but I guess people sometimes get high secretly. The boss told me to filter it out clearly, so hang in there until all the nobles  had entered.”

“Phew! What kind of aristocrat——— That filthy drug user stinks! Who are you talking about?”

“I know. I know. But I’m glad I took over this job with you, brother. If Axel had heard that, he would have thrown his hands first without holding back his temper. ” Lecter smirked and kicked a stone near his foot. Cole, with his arms crossed, looked at the aristocrats’ backs slowly entering their fortress. “Why are their butts so heavy? We have to enter as soon as possible so that we can start the banquet.”

“Even if all the noble families go in, the banquet won’t start unless the boss and sister come down.”

Lecter raised his head and looked up at the castle. The windows leading up to Cherryl’s bedroom were tightly closed.

With an awkward look on his face, Lecter murmured quietly. “At this rate, I might really see the boss’s child.”

The atmosphere in Cherryl’s bedroom was rather awkward. Cherryl had to turn to cover her already exposed back while looking at Cade. His stare was quite intense and it was making her agitated.

“Well, first of all…” Cherryl, who had roughly sorted the clothes around her back, rose quickly from her seat. The jewels hanging narrowly on the cloth fell with a brilliant glow. She looked rather amusing because she appeared like a fairy shedding a twinkle from her tail.

“I really thought I was going to die. It’s hard to breathe and I thought I’d be in trouble if I saw stars in front of me. Thank you, Grand Duke.” Cherryl thanked him like a quick shot. Cade, who was sitting far on the bed bench, asked quietly. “Why are you running away?”

“What do you mean running away?”

“You’re moving away from me.”

Cherryl noticed that she had taken a few steps back.

“Ah. My feet moved on its own.” She wasn’t wrong but it sounded like a silly excuse when she said it out loud. Cade searched Cherryl’s face. The eyes that were lifted again after staring at her lips were filled with the persistence that she had seen very often these days.

“Come closer.”

Immediately, the order was given. When Cherryl smiled lightly and shook her head, he urged her to come to him with a still look. Anyway, he could narrow the distance as much as he wanted, but she wondered what use it was. Cherryl, who had given up quickly, approached him with a frown. Cade reached slowly and took hold of her. She made a slightly defensive move, covering her chest with her opposite arm.

“The dress might fall down, my lord.”

When she added the explanation for nothing, Cade laughed as if he had heard a joke.

“I can’t believe that the person who asked me to take off her underwear feels embarrassed.”

The unfiltered speech spread a slight fever over Cherryl’s cheeks.

“The underwear wasn’t that———it wasn’t underwear,alright? I was in such a hurry.”

“It would have been nice to hear if it wasn’t for an urgent situation.” Cade said to himself in amusement as he lowered his eyelashes. The subtle body temperature from his wrist had gently rubbed against Cherryl’s elbow. “Wouldn’t you rather put some medicine on your back?”

“It’s okay now because I can bear it.”

“Put it on. Your flesh will hurt if something would continue to brush against it.”

Her conciliatory refusal immediately became a firm directive. Cherryl scratched her cheek and agreed in the end.

“Then I’d better put it on before I change clothes————Why are you looking at me like that? Are you going to put it on yourself?”

Cereal shook her head.

“Can’t I?”

“You can’t.”

He reasoned with a grim look. “It’s going to take a long time. I don’t think you’ll finish it quickly if you apply the medicine yourself. It might take a while like last time. Didn’t I bother you until the morning, asking for a chance to apologize?”

It was too much to simply dismiss it as bullying, but Cherryl did not correct it. Cáde pulled her elbow and buried his cheek in her arms. An adult man with an extraordinary physique was rubbing his face against her as if he was longing for affection. As the soft black hair became a little messy, his fragrant masculine scent came up. He was like a faithful big dog! With a piteous appreciation, Cherryl burst into a soundless laughter. Then, a low voice came from under her chest.

“Didn’t you feel good?”

“What?”

“I would do you wrong every day if I could apologize like that.”
