Sometime later the trio walked out the bathhouse with YuJu and Ellis wearing the new outfit he handpicked for them

"Did you choose the bra's your going to use for practice?

She nodded and showed him the three bra's

"Good, go get a few dozens of them for you to practice with then, we will be waiting at the back of the mall"

Nodding again she ran up the stairs to check the storage of the clothing district

While she did that he led Anput down toward the back entrance of the mall where the beasts still roamed

Giving a quick glance around he spotted two boars among the roaming beasts, these boars had a piggy pink colour that distinguished them from normal boars, well that is if normal boars were the size of an ox that is

"Kill everyone but those two"

He said pointing at them to which Anput complied with a howl

Instead of watching her rip these beasts apart once again staining her paws with sticky blood, he searched around for a fancy cart

'Knew there'd be one here'

He thought looking at the fancy cart that was turned over by the road, even in these modern times where cars were prevalent the tourist sites couldn't do without this medieval fancy style of riding for those who wanted a new experience

He came to it and easily turned it back on its wheels, his new strength was out of the ordinary even without him putting points into it

'Hmm, speaking of point, I should start the allocation while we are on the ride, the sooner I start the less they are out of battle'

"Wuu Woo!"

Anput's voice came to him from the side a little further away, turning to her he spotted her running figure as the two stupid boars chased her even after she basically cut down the beasts like vegetables in front of their eyes

'These dimwits, only when the real beasts come will they learn some humility and fear, at least those who can survive will'

As the scene was playing out he heard Ellis's footsteps from behind

"Go teach them their place, don't hurt them too hard though, they will be pulling the cart"

Heading his command she went ahead and jumped into the air, as she came down she put pressure into her legs and smashed the two stupid beasts into the ground making them slowly slide with her standing on their snouts

Just as they wanted to get up and rage they sensed her burning aura seer their body, it was so painful that they couldn't help but squeal like pigs

YuJu who saw the two of them tremble and whine within the burning purple glow furrowed his brow in thought for as far as he knew the aura shouldn't have a burning sensation, even the snakes they'd fought didn't make a peep when they touched it

'Il figure it out later'

They still had some time before it hit ten o'clock but hed rather not waste any more

Throwing the ropes over the sorry excuse for boars he tightened the reigns and whipped them into moving

In fear and helpless they could do nothing but run with all their strength, they took a few wrong turns more than once but after getting sliced or scorched for every one of them their tiny brains started to adapt to the reigns, from then on the cart peacefully moved toward the north without any further whines

'I should start now'

He pulled up the status of the three of them to start distributing the points

As one could tell Anput's status had raised on their own by a large margin, the increase in vitality was the most prominent as it was an absurd increase, this indicated that he egg she swallowed was very potent, furthermore, her compatibility with it must be good for her to absorb it so quickly

All this didn't make a huge difference in YuJu's eyes though, that was because unlike him and Ellis she didn't have a second class and that meant she was gaining three points for each level instead of their four, this already put her twenty-five points behind them

'Though shes a beast and their usual way of increasing in power is by evolution and fighting to improve their bodies'

Humans could train to strengthen themselves too but it took longer than beasts as the original body of humans was much weaker than beasts in every aspect

It is what it is though and he wouldn't want to dwell on these unsolvable issues

He was the best first pick to upgrade as he would be able to go through the threshold without much trouble so he added a single point to agility

When he added it he didn't feel much different at first, but then a numb sensation started to float inside his body, it moved along his blood without actually feeling like it was inside it, much more like a gas that was seeping through his flesh, corroding his senses wherever it went as it tried to put his physical body to sleep, even his mind wasn't spared the clouded sensation

Once the numb sensation had spread all over his body it paused for several long seconds

Ever the curious one, Ellis couldn't help but ask

"Once you cross that threshold your body would exceed the limits of normal bings, its the point that marks the start of a new rank, the difference of a few points, or even tens of points, can be made up with some wit or tools, but the difference between someone that s under the threshold and one that crossed it is huge, the reason being the body wouldn't let all the power sit idly in the body as it did while gradually increasing its power, instead it would meld it into the very being, making it a part of its natural control over the body, this would allow one to move at great speed, endure strong attack or deliver them even if they hadn't learnt to control their own newfound strength"

It was a long explanation but the meaning was very basic, crossing the threshold was bringing out the hidden power within

"But doesn't that mean if someone had control over their power already they wouldn't benefit much from the increase?"

"Yes, it wouldn't make much of a difference, only the newly gained skill would be of benefit"

She was a little excited for the new skill since she only had two but was unenthusiastic other than that, she felt she had enough control over her body and mind that it wouldn't really bring her any extra benefits

He warned and added a single point into intelligence

A numb feeling spread through her head all of a sudden and started moving around inside her, slowly making its way all over her mind while bringing a tingling sensation wherever it went, it felt like someone was giving her scalp massage except it was many magnitudes better than that, it was so good her brain couldn't help but let go of all her stress and worries that accumulated over the past few days leaving only relaxation and drowsiness

Just as she was about to ask why he said it was going to be painful as she had just seen him go through it within seconds plus her current relaxed state a jolt of pain entered her mind from every direction, like needled opining her brain in one fell stretch, pulling it apart in every painful way she could have thought of and more

Hugging her head forcefully in pain she fell to the side and into his lap, screaming her pain out in vain

Anput looked worriedly on the side but he motioned her that it was going to be okay, then he moved his hand over Ellis's head and started to give her a light massage with his fingers, it was slow and gentle, and apparently very effective since the screams started to slowly die out with each tap and wave from his fingers

Seeing this Anput relaxed and came to his side, laying her head next to Ellis on his thigh while looking at him pitifully as if to say, if I'm going to go through that as well then please message me too

The gesture was cute enough for him to smile slightly while his other hand lay on her head

He didn't massage her as well though, instead, a blood-red light flickered in between his fingers, intertwining to form chains continuously which started to sink into Anput's head making her body tighten all of a sudden

It wasn't painful though and Anput didn't feel too uncomfortable from it, she sort of felt a different type of enjoyable tightening that she tried to ignore as much as she could

Once he was done inserting chains into her he gave her head a light rub and took his hand away

"I limited your bloodline so you wouldn't evolve for now as I have made plans for that later on, for now, I will increase your insight in one go, don't worry it won't be painful like the other stat increases, but try to take as much as you can from the opportunity that you are presented"

He spoke to her slowly so she would understand as much as she could before he started increasing her insight stat rapidly, he didn't stop at the hundredth mark once he reached it but continued on dumping the entirety of her AP into that single stat

This made her stare straight into his deep eyes for many seconds, as if she was frozen in time, she wasn't actually looking at him though she was tranced instead, so he closed her eyes manually and let her rest next to him while he turned his attention back to the pained Ellis who was squirming in his lap, his mind though still thinking how much Anput could benefit from his

'Hopefully enough to allow her some great advances'

Originally he wanted to increase her status like him and Ellis but fearing she might evolve because of it he decided to keep her Ap and then give them all once they were plenty of them and after he limited her bloodline with his Master-Limiter skill, that way she would fall into a longer more beneficial state of enlightenment, that enlightenment though might or might not benefit her as it solely depends on what she tried to comprehend and whether she was fit for it or not, this was the state of enlightenment that only occurred with the insight stat
