"Your son?" Eleen was startled, she was extremely surprised by this man's proposal.

Without waiting for her to decide, the man suddenly headed in another direction, while waving his hand.

A while later, an extremely handsome young man with blond hair arrived. He was about 180cm tall, he had blue eyes, a high nose, and an athletic body.

On the young man's face was a warm smile which could dazzle anyone.

As Eleen saw the young man she immediately blushed because of his attractive appearance.

"Come here, Lathel."

The young man approached the small gathering then his father started to introduce him.

"Hahaha… this is Lathel, my son, he is 25 years old this year. Haizzz, this idiot always wants to find true love, so he doesn't know rich girls."

"Eleen, I feel like you fit Lathel's criteria very well. I think you two will become a great couple."

Hearing that, Eleen felt extremely embarrassed, she quickly said: "I... sorry, I'm just a normal person. I can't…"

"Hello." Before Eleen could finish, Lathel smiled warmly and reached out to her for a handshake.

Eleen shyly looked at Lathel, then looked at his father. His father also smiled gently, and this prompted Eleen to finally nod and shake hands with Lathel.

"I am… I am Eleen." Eleen was a little shy.

"Eleen? The name is beautiful." Lathel smiled and said, his smile made Eleen feel so embarrassed that her face turned red.

"Okay, let's go, so the two young people will have space to develop their feelings. Hahaha…"

"That's right, let's go..."

"Do your best, Eleen, hahaha…"

Eleen shyly lowered her head, as she blushed with embarrassment.

Lathel smiled and said: "It's a bit noisy here, let's go out into the garden."

Eleen felt a little nervous hearing that, but seeing Lathel's sincere and warm smile, she didn't think he was a bad person.

Finally, Eleen nodded. The place was full of people anyway, so she thought that Lathel wouldn't do any harm to her.

Besides… Eleen glanced at Lathel, she felt that someone who was both handsome and the son of such a big boss would definitely not harm a small girl like her.

Then, Eleen followed Lathel to the garden.

Currently it is  evening.

In the extremely large garden,  Eleen and Lathel walked side by side. They conversed about a lot of things. Eleen found out from their banter that although Lathel came from a rich family, he wasn't the type of person who only knew how to spend money from her family.

Lathel had founded his own small company, and he was knowledgeable about business and society, moreover he had  a 'master's degree' in business.

Eleen suddenly felt a bit self-conscious at this moment.

"Lathel, you are truly a perfect person, you are so perfect that you make people feel self-conscious."

"Hahaha…" Lathel suddenly laughed: "Eleen, you are wrong, everyone has their dark side. You say that because you can't see my dark side."

"On the contrary, Eleen, you are very interesting. You are not arrogant, nor are you too focused on money. You are so innocent, like a newly bloomed flower."

Eleen heard Lathel's praise and lowered her head, her face as red as embers.

"You… don't say that. I'm just an ordinary girl, from the slums."

"Even so, you still keep yourself clean, right?"

Eleen nodded: "Um… I… I don't want to lose myself so easily."

"Eleen, compared to the girls of rich families, you are a hundred times better than them." Lathel shook his head and said, "Those girls have all lost themselves,as they are immersed in lust and wealth."

"Haizzz, my father said I need to get married, but I don't want to marry girls like that."

Lathel suddenly stopped, he looked Eleen in the eye and said: "Eleen, if I have to get married, I think you are the best fit for me."

"I…" Eleen was startled, her mind seemingly unable to think of anything.

Who is Lathel? As the son of an extremely wealthy family, he himself was extremely talented and erudite.

What about Eleen? She is just an orphan, living in the slums. Although thanks to Sherwin, her life has recently improved.

However, that did not hide her low status.

What puzzled her was why Lathel was interested in a lowly girl like her?

Could it be... it was love at first sight?

In fact, every girl daydreams about meeting a prince on a white horse like Cinderella.

This applies to Eleen. Because of her extremely low background, that dream is even more intense than other normal girls.

It's just… because life is so difficult, Eleen has to restrain that petty dream, and try to face reality.

Now, upon meeting Lathel, who was like a prince on a white horse, her heart beat faster.

"I… I just…"

"Eleen..." Lathel suddenly interrupted Eleen's words: "If I cared about your identity, I wouldn't care about you, let alone talk to you."

"I think… we should get along a bit. Eleen, I hope you can give me a chance."

Lathel looked straight into Eleen's eyes, his words were filled with sincerity and he wore a warm smile that warmed Eleen's heart.

Eleen felt that Lathel was a halo of light illuminating her dark life.

However, she wasn't in a hurry to answer, she bowed her head and said, "Um… I.. I will think about it. But I need to say this first… I…"

"Um, I understand. Anyway, we just met, my request was too sudden, sorry."

"Ah!" Eleen was startled, she hurriedly said: "You… you don't need to apologize to me. I… I just… I feel like I'm dreaming."

"Lathel, do you know that you are like a prince on a white horse in the dreams of girls like me?"

"Hahhaha… really? I don't feel that way."

"No…" Eleen shook her head and said: "You are rich, talented, knowledgeable, and, you … you are very handsome. Additionally, your actions are very gentle."

"Lathel, I wonder why someone as perfect as you is paying attention to me?"

Lathel shrugged, he smiled and said: "Actually, I've been paying attention to you since you appeared with Arik."

"Heh?!"

"Hahaha… you probably won't believe me, however, love is something we cannot control."

"There are many couples who love each other for more than 5-10 years but eventually break up. There are many people who go through countless hardships to get married but get divorced after a short time."

"However, there are also many people who only need to meet once, and they will be together forever."

"It's weird, isn't it?"

Hearing that, Eleen nodded. That's right, she had  witnessed several cases similar to what Lathel just mentioned.

"That's why, even though it's our first time meeting, I think this is fate." Lathel said as he took out a small box from his pocket.

The box was made of red wood in the shape of a heart, with the words "Destiny" on it.

"This is…" Eleen asked, confused.

"Eleen, do you know what company I founded?"

Eleen shook her head.

"Hahaha… I set up a company to produce sweets for couples. This is my newest and most special product."

"This is…"

"It's the chocolate of destiny. Only one can be purchased per person at my store."

"Heh?! Why?"

"Because… This is like a marriage proposal. What it means is…you are my destiny."

Lathel looked straight into Eleen's eyes and spoke.

Eleen had completely given up on putting up a defense at this point. Her heart beat continuously as if it wanted to jump out of her chest, and she blushed furiously.

"I… I can't take this…" Eleen said hastily.

"No, you must accept it because.. I have determined you will be my woman."

When Eleen heard that, she was immediately startled, her body trembling slightly as she thought 'In my heart, I always wondered if fairy tales were true?'

'Can Cinderella really marry the prince on the white horse?'

'Can… Can I get out of the mire of poverty and lowliness?'

'No, I can get out of it.'

'I don't want to stay in that cramped inn anymore.'

'I don't want to continue living like someone in the lowest class of society.'

'I don't want my friends to look down on me anymore.'

'Above all, I don't want my brother to give up on his dreams by worrying about me.'

'I… I want to change my life.'

Eleen took a deep breath, then took the small box in Lathel's hand: "Lathel, thank you. Although this is the first time we are  meeting, I feel that you are also my destiny."

Eleen's eyes were watery as if she was about to cry, as she put the box in her pocket.

Suddenly, Lathel took her hand, then said, "Eleen, you'd better taste it. This chocolate can't be kept for long."

"Heh?! But… I want to keep it for a long time to…"

"It's okay, you should eat it, that's the  best way to keep this memory."

Seeing Lathel's warm smile, Eleen had no doubts. She opened the box and saw a heart-shaped pink chocolate in the middle of the box.

Even though she had just opened the box, the chocolate gave off an extremely seductive scent that made it difficult for Eleen to resist.

Eleen smiled, held the chocolate in her hand, then slowly opened her red lips and placed it inside her mouth.

The wonderful chocolate flavor exploded like a bomb inside Eleen's mouth. This was the first time she had eaten such delicious chocolate.

"So delicious!" Eleen covered her mouth and said.

"Um… I hope you will still want to eat this chocolate in the future."

Hearing Lathel's words, Eleen smiled: "It's delicious, I want to..."

Before Eleen could finish her sentence, she suddenly felt the scene in front of her distort like a curtain, then... Everything went dark.

The last sound she heard was Lathel's voice.

"Ah… girls who dream of being loved by a prince are really entertaining."
