CLANG!

My spear clashed with the sword of the short man before I moved to dodge the attack of the tall woman.

Immediately, they followed me and attacked me again, with more powerful attacks than before. These two were no weaklings but the Peak Sovereigns. They wouldn't let me dodge their attacks easily.

CLANG!

Once again, I have to be defended, but this time from the attacks from the woman and her dual lightning-wind element energy, which she had hidden inside her saber.

She is a wind-lightning elemental powerhouse, while the short man is a fire elemental.

Both of them have a different inheritance. These inheritances might be from Ishban, or they might be from a different organization.

I think the woman belongs to a different organization.

Ishaban is a cult; they have their inheritances, hundreds or even thousands of them, but also recruit the members of organizations or make their members infiltrate them.

It is the reason why it is so hard to deal with Ishban. You kill its members or even leaders, but in a couple of centuries, new leadership will appear.

They are like cockroaches; the only thing you could do is keep killing them.

Kill them quickly as you can, because these bastards will get stronger with every person who is dead. I could already feel their strength rising.

CLANG CLANG CLANNG CLANNG!

They attacked me constantly, while all I did was defend.

It is not like I couldn't attack them, but these two are not weak and if I revealed my true power, it might give them an idea of my power and will make me careful, which will make it harder for me to kill them.

"You are vermin who didn't have a spine to fight back and could only defend," said the short man and attacked, with a really powerful attack.

I had to harness quite a lot of power to defend against it.

CLANNNG!

I defended but disappeared immediately after dodging the attack, which is even more powerful than the one launched by the short man.

Rip!

I dodged it, but not fully. Its saber had touched me through my back, giving me less than a centimeter-long cut.

The cut may be small, but the saber was holding a large amount of powerful inheritance energy blast of it, which it had released into that cut.

The packet I had created around the wound had barely held on to the energy. It is not just the inheritance energy in there. If that was all that, I wouldn't have been worried.

No, there is also the bluish nastiness mixed into it, which is making the energy so dangerous.

Thankfully, I had got the chance to observe the bluish nastiness with my clash between them, or I wouldn't have been able to create an effective bubble.

Though, I have to be careful because this bluishness is getting stronger.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!

The attacks have become stronger after scoring the hit. They came at me with even greater intensity.

I didn't let it affect me and continue to study them, with the six of my clones.

It hasn't been a minute since I had fought them, but there is a clear and clear picture of them appeared in my mind. All thanks to my clones, which are processing the data, I am sending to them.

Soon a minute passed. The battle had turned even bloodier. A lot of people dying, both the good and the cultist.

The cultists are at an advantage, and their advantage will continue to increase with each death.

Hun!

A few minutes passed when suddenly a change occurred on the battlefield that made nearly everyone look up.

"Hehe, even now, Sovereigns will get purified," said the short man, and looking above, his blade moved toward my spear, moving to defend against it.

It was about to clash with it, like it did thousands of times in the past four minutes, when my spear moved like a snake around his sword.

Literally like a snake and fast as a viper, it appeared in front of his temple in an instant, to his horror.

PUCH!

Before he could do anything, my spear broke through his ceramic mask and pierced his head, killing him for an instant.

I have not been playing defense for anything. I have been collecting every bit of data about them and am already aware of their limitations.

For the last minute, I have been waiting for the chance and the moment I saw it, I took it.

"I will kill you," said the voice from behind and her attack had suddenly increased in full power, and it is very dangerous, but I have been expecting it.

I dodged the attack before moving my spear to attack. Enough playing defensive, now that she is alone.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

She defended against my attack, but I followed with another and then another. Like a viper, my spear moved toward her constantly.

She is a lighting and wind elemental powerhouse, both of the elements, known for her speed and it is showing, seeing how she is moving to dodge the attacks.

"You are good and seeing how you are defending. You were trained since childhood," I said, and I pressed her, but she didn't reply.

Hun!

A few seconds passed, and we got close to another fight, where two High-Sovereign cultists, fighting against one, High-Sovereign.

Puch!

My spear moved and killed the High Sovereign effortlessly while moving toward her.

It seemed to have angered her, as entire body language changed. She moved for an offense, but I didn't give her the chance.

CLANNNG!

As she moved her saber, the speed of my spear increased further and forced her to move on the defensive. Before her saber could cross even half of the distance.

I begin to press at her even faster, not giving her a single chance to launch any offensive attack at me, despite her being faster than me.

Speed is not enough; one also needs to know how to use it well and this woman had to be trained, well and had quite a lot of experience.

It is not as much as me, and that's where I get the edge over her.

Puch!

A few more seconds passed, and I lead her near another battle where I killed another cultist fighting with her.

It made her angry, but a moment later, she calmed down and begin to fight like before with a calm heart.

Seeing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face, but with a hint of regret. This woman is quite talented and, most importantly, has a mindset; unfortunately, she is a cultist.

I will kill her; leaving someone like her will not be a good thing.

A few more seconds passed; when I finally get a chance and attacked her.

Rip!

She dodged the attack; my spear was only able to give her a scratch. It didn't even break the skin.

"You have missed," she said a moment later, I could feel the mocking dripping through it.

"I did not," I replied.

Unfortunately for her, I didn't miss it. The attack had succeeded, and she will know it in a few seconds.
