3675 Sky Sovereign

It didn't take long before a figure appeared in front of me.

He is a Stone-Skin with bright yellow stone skin. Likely from some fire stone tribe. It is the reason why, it could move so fast, here despite being Initial Sky Sovereign.

"It is quite a corner," he said, looking around with eyes shining. "It is," I replied.

"Mind sharing?" he asked. "No problem," I replied, and I walked toward the thing, I was interested in.

I would like nothing more than to get away. It is a freaking Sky Sovereign. Even in a dangerous environment, it could kill me rather easily, but that would have made him harm me more.

So, I had cloaked myself with an aura of Sky Sovereigns.

He would need to think about it a hundred times before he attacks me. It is a dangerous plan, but far safer than running away with the time, I had or revealing my true level.

We picked up, things one by one, mostly metals. There are some artifacts, but most have turned useless, and others aren't useful to me.

Though, he seemed happy getting some, and I had let him have it.

"You were the one who opened that forge room, weren't you?" he asked suddenly. Hearing that, I froze for a moment.

"Yes," I replied.

I was surprised that he knew about it, but I had controlled that surprise. I had stayed there nearly a day, and he might have come there, and saw being occupied.

"You must have got quite some things," he said, turning toward me fully. "A few," I replied, and a smile grin appeared on his face.

"Mind sharing some with me?" he asked. "No," I replied, and there was a smile on my face. The grin on his face widened, and he moved very fast and I have to say, I am surprised. I didn't know he would attack me.

He stopped a moment later, with a surprise on his face, and a faint red light came out of his body, revealing strings that connected to the broken formation, with him being its center.

Seeing those energy strings, a surprise on his face had turned to shock.

I may have not expected him to attack, but I had prepared for it, and it is a good thing I did because the bastard was also hiding its power.

It is not the initial Sky Sovereign, but Mid-Sky Sovereign.

"You think these strings will stop me?" he asked, looking at me angrily. "No, but they will keep you occupied for long enough for me to get away," I replied and smiled.

"You are underestimating me. If you think, these strings will be able to stall me for more than a few minutes. It is better that you just give me the Khel's Chime and I will let you leave without a problem." He offered.

I am not surprised; he knows what was in the forge room. There were hundreds of those rooms and all of them had started equipment, including Khel's Chime.

"Goodbye," I said to him and walked away.

"You will pay for this, bastard!" he threatened, but I could see he had already started working on the strings and he had some skills.

They were no ordinary strings, but strings made of formations. He couldn't just snap them away. No, he would need to break those formations, and it wouldn't be easy for him to do it within an hour.

As for why, an hour? Because half an hour later, because an hour later, those strings will activate and make the formations crash.

It might create a huge explosion.

I wish I could get the timer low, but I couldn't. if there were an explosion, then I need to be far enough to be safe from it. As much as possible, seeing there is no place in this place is safe.

It is quite regretful that I had to leave now, I think I might have been able to explore a little further before the heat reached my limit.

I am not disappointed. I might have found a few things, but I am sure nothing I had found could be compared to the Khel's Chime or things in that storage ring.

I moved fast, but not fast enough to get myself killed while sending the soul waves toward the Sky Sovereign. I need to keep an eye on him; I couldn't always assume things and seeing how fast it could move, I have to be careful of him.

Early, he had taken less than twenty seconds to reach me. I don't want something like that to happen.

It is a damn Sky Sovereign; I am no match for it. The only way, I could survive is by not letting it find me.

BANNNG!

An hour passed, and a loud bang rang out. It was powerful, but I had come far enough that it didn't affect things much.

Still, I had waited in my spot for a few minutes before resuming my journey.

Hun!

A few more minutes passed when I received quite a surprise. My soul waves have caught it, and it is moving up fast.

'Bastard survived!' I thought.

His condition didn't look good, but rage in his eyes was enough to tell me, that it wouldn't hamper him from taking his revenge on me, and seeing how careless he was using the soul sense, he would find me sooner than later.

This place is triggering, and even using a stealth method might trigger the formation. I am still using it, but not at its full capacity and I don't want to take risk.

I thought for a while before taking out my abode and activating it a few minutes later on the spot that seemed safe-ish.

Using the abode is also dangerous, but less than using the stealth method. Unlike the stealth, I am not moving with my abode and wouldn't be coming across thousands triggering formations.

With that thought, I entered the abode.
