3698 Delicious Data

Seeing their soul sense had stopped tracking me, I changed direction.

Of course, I lied to them about my destination. I trust them enough to touch the badge, but not enough to tell them my true destination.

For a moment, I wanted to follow them and would have followed, if they were my organization, but it is Alkaz, and one needed to keep some distance between them.

It is a huge organization, but has its own problems.

I could have chosen it since it is the most powerful organization that solely focused on dealing with world threats, but I decided not to and chose the Tor, which was a wise decision.

I wanted to summon my abode and study the delicious data, but instead, I sealed my connection with all my clones except for one.

I need to cover the distance and, if possible, find more of the cultists from the Irmatis. Before that, I need to get the hell away from this place; more cultists might come here searching for their members.

Forget Sky Sovereign, I am not even a match for the Grade 3 Earth Sovereign. They will eat me alive if they find me; not to mention, they are already searching for people for their cult activity.

Usan had said they were planning something big. I couldn't help but wonder about it.

The library has the information about them, but there are thousands of things they could be doing. It depends on the kind of beast they are worshiping and what they want in exchange.

I already found out the kind of beast they were worshiping thanks to those patterns, but even with it, it is hard to find the exact ritual they would be doing.

Not that it matters, nearly all the rituals would want them to sacrifice people. How they do it will depend on the type of the ritual.

I pushed those thoughts away and focused on getting away from this area as fast as possible.

Hun!

Half an hour passed when suddenly, I sensed an Earth Sovereign. It is flying while scanning the area with his soul sense. It didn't have tattoos flashing and his aura seemed more subdued, but he was flying, and that is strange.

I have not seen an Earth Sovereign fly in this ruin, unless they are a crowded place or part of a large group or group that has the Sky Sovereign.

So, I did the thing I only do when I sense the Earth Sovereign. I sealed all movements of my body and covered myself with powerful stealth.

Nineteen seconds later, his soul sense scanned over me, while I watched with bated breath. He feels normal, like many Earth Sovereigns; I never hid from such people.

I mean, why would I? When I could beat these people, but here it is strange, and I rather not take the risk.

The scan remained around me for three and a half seconds before it moved away, but I remained on my spot for another four minutes, before I unsealed my body and slowly started to leave the place.

Another hour passed and aside from Sky Sovereign and a few Earth Sovereign monsters, I hadn't come across any powerhouses.

It made me relieved, but I am still cautious.

Soon, the sky began to turn dark, and I wanted to stop immediately, but I continued. I won't be stopping, till it is time to stop.

A few minutes passed, and I sensed more and more coming out of their hiding spots. Many of them are Sky Sovereigns.

Monsters aren't the only things I sensed. There are three Earth Sovereigns and one Sky Sovereign, nearly the edge of my soul sense. The woman is a peak Sky Sovereign and unlike the normal Sky Sovereigns; she is on the ground, moving sneakily.

Feeling curious, I tracked her till, she walked out of the range of my soul waves.

It was a little over two hours after the dark, that energy became powerful enough to be harmful to me, that I finally let myself bring out my abode and entered inside.

I wanted to enter my core immediately, but I didn't instead, I showered and brought out the dinner that my clone had cooked. I ate it in silence, while watching the data of my surroundings, that my abode is providing me.

I finished dinner and washed the dishes, before laying on the couch and closing my eyes.

The moment I entered my core, I removed the restriction on connection with my clones. As I did, everything they studied in the past few hours flooded in.

"Amazing," I muttered with my eyes wide.

Immediately, I appeared in front of the gates of the library and entered inside. There, eight of my clones sat at a single table, studying the data.

Usually, not over five clones work in the library, but now there are eight. The ninth one would have come too, if not for doing something important.

I sat down at the table and started to study the data.

It may not seem like it, but it is huge, and my clones only scratched the surface of it. Normally, my clones would study the data a hundred battles by now, but this data is something novel, something they have never come across.

The data for me is like a step-by-step instruction to build a house, with all its complexities. Studying it, I felt like an uncivilized man in a thatched hut that leaked from a hundred places.

It is extremely inefficient and takes a lot more forbidden power.

This data will help me change that. It won't bring a change. It will be slow and gradual, but tremendous in scale.

As I study it, hundreds of ideas begin to flood into my mind on improving every move of mine. From strings to seeds to inheritance energy, I used forbidden power over everything, and this data will help me make them far more powerful than they are right now.

Three of my clones have already started making minor changes to my inheritance, which will help me a lot from tomorrow.

I left the changes to them while I focused on studying.

It had been months since I had been focused, as I am right, now. All the lethargy, the uninterest, seemed to disappear in a puff of smoke.

Hours passed, and I continued to study.

Though it is not the only thing I did, I would also do some small experiments as I am doing right now.

There is a ball of forbidden power and hundreds of thin strings of soul energy coming out. On those thinner than hair strange of soul energy, are complex formations, being powered by the inheritance.

It might look simple, but it is very complex and every string, I add, makes it even more complex.

A few minutes passed, and strings reached over thousands, and struggle was apparent on my face, but still I continued. I continued till I made twelve-hundred and sixty-seven strings before it all collapsed.

It is huge considering in the past six months, I wasn't able to go over nine hundred and thirteen.

A few more hours passed before I finally stopped. I wanted to continue, but I had to practice and then sleep.

With the beast god cult adding to the dangerousness of the ruin, it had become even more important for me to increase my strength and be in top shape. Practice and sleep, help a lot with that.
