Hun!

I entered the mist and came out on the other side. Immediately, there was a surprise on my face.

The surprise was not because in front of me, there was a vast garden, but because I had realized why even Sky Sovereigns didn't dare to enter inside.

There is a poison.

There is an invisible poison in here. It is powerful enough that it has entered my body, with barely any resistance. There was a faint resistance; it was because of it; that I was able to detect it.

I didn't react and looked at the seeds, which I had inserted into everyone.

I could also detect poison entering their bodies, even if they themselves didn't detect it. It is extremely hard to detect the poison; I was able to detect it because of my peculiarities.

"I hope the bastards didn't kill us after we gave them what they wanted," said the Beastman. "It is likely, they will," said the crystal-skinned woman, and many shuddered in despair.

They can guess, too, that it is likely to happen.

"So, should we not collect the resources they had asked then?" asked an elf. "We should, but we should also find ways to increase our strength and even level up, if possible," replied the horned man.

Nobody said anything to that.

I didn't say anything. I didn't plan to inform them about the poison. I don't know anything about the poison. If I tell them now, it will only cause panic and I don't want that.

What happened was unexpected, but I planned to survive. To do that, needed to be calm as possible.

I sat down on the bench while others discussed things. Some had already left toward the garden, while some, like me, were reading through the information crystal they had provided to us.

According to the information they have provided. We have eleven and half days here and there are thousands of resources they want, with Kavan on top.

I only glanced at Kavan. It is a wonderful resource, and I want it, but it will be years before I will be able to use it. There are hundreds of other resources, that could be useful to me in the short term.

I finished reading the information and looked ahead. The garden is massive, and clearly spatially enlarged.

There are thousands of plants here, far more than the list they have provided, and I want them. I have a lot of resources, but having more didn't hurt. These are resources that could help me and the bees in my core.

Most importantly, they could have a way to deal with the poison, that had infiltrated our body.

It is a strong poison, and it has already started affecting my body and soul. Seeping into every speck of soul and cell of the body.

It is not the only problem. There is also a Sky Sovereign. I need to find a way to deal with him because currently, I am not seeing any other option, than defending against him, which is not enough.

I got up from the chair and walked toward the garden. Most of the people have already left, going in different directions.

There are hundreds of ways, and I have picked one.

I looked at the garden and couldn't help but feel some similarities with my core. The biggest one is special environment rooms. Many plants require special environments to grow; one couldn't just plant the seed and expect them to grow.

"Thousand," I said, looking at the number flashing on my hand. It is the number of plants I could harvest.

Unlike most places, I have been. There are no restrictions here. I could go to any plant, but every plant will take one point and from that plant, one could only harvest the limited number of resources.

For example, the lintin berry plant in front of me. I could only harvest fifty-two berries from, but at bardin grass, I could only harvest three stalks.

If I harvest more, another point will be taken.

There are enough plants in here, that even if everyone had used every point. They would at most be able to harvest 7% of the garden.

Though there is a question about the list they have provided me, I didn't care about it since the result would be the same.

They wouldn't let us live. So, it is better that I focus on survival. First solving poison, the responsibility to which, I had handed to my clone. As for surviving the Sky Sovereign, that is my responsibility.

The first thing, I will do is check out the garden. I want to look at the whole garden to see if I can find something related to the poison.

I may have handed the responsibility of it to my clones, but I need to contribute to it. It is my life depended on it.

The garden is vast, but I will be able to explore it whole within a few hours. It will also allow me to make a list of all the plants in there.

They have provided the map and the list of resources they want, but they didn't provide the location of the resources. They didn't mention the reason, but I could guess it.

The location of the plants isn't permanent.

I don't know, the cycle of this place. Though, with the data, I had gathered; it is at least forty years long.

I had noticed several plants in there, that had forty-year life cycles and they are growing.

I couldn't see any signs of which the resources from them had been harvested.

The time could increase. I don't know, since the highest cycle plant, I had seen is of forty-three years. I am sure, in this garden, there would be more plants with a century-long cycle or bigger cycle.

They will give me an idea about the true cycle of this garden.

It might seem like a useless thing to look for, given the current circumstances, but it is important for my purpose.
