Ash, Gina and Minho invited me to their get together party since Gina and Minho just came back from the US. Earlier, I felt so out of place that I immediately declined the offer but Ash begged and pleaded me to go that I grudgingly obliged.

We arrived at a prestigious bar, were rich kids like Ash spend their drunken nights. It was my first time here that I felt a little nervous. Ash noticed that. So he went near me and whispered, "Hey lady, first time?"

"Yah, sort of. I've been to bars but not these kind."

"Okay, listen. I noticed earlier that you were feeling a bit sad. And Gina and Minho's homecoming is such a good opportunity to lift up your spirit. Just let it go, okay? Have fun for once! You'll easily get old if you always wear that frown."

Ash's words easily lightened my mood. I exhaled and sent him a grateful smile. He went back to his girl and that's when I noticed Minho looking at me. I raised my brow.

"Uh.. " He scratched his head. "Cassidy, right?" I nod. "Ash said you were sad."

"You heard that?" Wow. I barely heard Ash saying that, and here comes this guy who walked a meter away from Ash. Just wow.

"Not really. I sort of read Ash's lips. But not all! I just got the gist of it since you were looking sad earlier."

"I was?" Did I, really?

"Yeah. Uh, do you mind telling me why?" I don't want to refuse him, but I really don't want to reveal myself to someone I just met.

I was saved from answering when Ash called us. "Oi! You two, over here!"

I looked over from where they are sitting, a booth at the far right, near the bar.

"Come on!" And pulled Minho towards them.

As we sat, a waiter came over and asked us for our orders. The three ordered some alcohol and snacks.

"Cassidy what do you want?"

"Some chips and soda."

"Soda?" A bewildered Ash exclaimed. "We are here to have some fun. Order something else."

There are other ways to have fun, not just drinking you know, I wanted to say but I don't have the right to judge one's definition of fun. So, "Uh I really have low alcohol tolerance. I don't want to burden you all and ruin your night of fun."

"But that's the fun part Cass. Come on. Okay I'll just order some ladies drink. We'll take good care of you."

"Love, just double my drink. It has lesser alcohol content." And Gina looked at me, "Really, you won't get drunk easily."

I nodded helplessly. Oh to hell with this. Just this once.

When the waiter left, Ash asked the two about their stay in the US. I sat there and listened and looked at Gina and Minho carefully.

Gina is a petite fair, lady with wavy, brown hair. She has a round tiny face, big blue eyes, short nose and a smiling lips with perfect set of teeth. She complements Ash in all ways as she always smiles, just like Ash.

Minho is a tall guy having an oval face with a chiseled jawline and a long, pointed nose. His half-open lips are such a temptation. His unruly black hair makes you want to fix it and weave your fingers through its soft strands. But his eyes, oh that damned eyes, so beautiful. His almond-shaped honey-brown eyes ensnares your soul. It's just so lovely, alluring, seductive.

After a couple of minutes talking about their life in the US, our order arrived.

Ash stood up, raised his glass and said looking at me, "Cass, be with me." I stood up and raised my glass as well.

"Welcome back Gina, my love. And to you, my darling, Minho." We all clinked glasses while laughing.

Gina was the first to recover. "Love, I didn't know you're crossing over. Are you leaving me behind?"

"Of course not baby. I love Minho, but I love you more." And he kissed Gina.

I am deeply happy for my friend. I thought I'd feel bitter but here I am, rooting for them to be together forever. I hope I'll have that kind of love. But I'm not in a hurry, all in due time.

We continued chatting and drinking and eating. I didn't know how many glasses I've drank but I guess I've got too much because the world's dancing. And I felt so sleepy. Ash and Gina excused themselves for a dance. I barely managed a nod.

I placed my elbows on my knees, my head resting on my palms. My head's starting to spin.

"Hey? You okay?" I looked at the direction of where the voice is coming from.

"Minho? Why are you here? Don't you wanna dance?"

"But, who's gonna stay with you?"

I laughed. "Oh you don't need to babysit me. I'll be fine. Go go!" I shooed him out the booth.

He frowned. "No. I really don't like dancing. I'd rather stay here with you."

And then he met my eyes. The look he gives me is so intense that it makes me all stuffy inside. I downed another glass on impulse.

"Hey! Don't drink that-" Too late. I've finished it all.

"That's my drink." He said breathlessly.

My eyes widened. And before I could confirm it, I collapsed on the chair.
