Just when I was about to completely lose consciousness, light entered my vision as a hand pulled my body away from the projectiles. It was as if that hand pulled me out of my misery as I slowly started to regain my consciousness.

I tried to open my eyes but when I opened my eyes all I saw was the sky. I was laying down. Just when I force my self to stand up, a voice sounded out from beside me...

"What the hell are you doing?"

It was Edizon. I struggled to sit up only to saw him not even looking at me. He was looking at a redhaired girl fighting with the monkeys not so far from us.

"I'm sorry, I..." Just when I was about to explain my self. Edizon quickly interjected...

"Do I really have to carry you from now on?"

"Heh..." A smile broke out my face as I smirked back at Edizon. I realized something. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes... Cherishing all the new memories I made in this lifetime... I finally remembered what I'm fighting for and who I'm fighting with...

Mom... Dad... Kiara... Alice... Edizon... Isabella...

How could I forget?

I'm not alone anymore.

...

It was as if moments passed by as I finally woke up from a short moment of epiphany. As soon as I opened my eyes the same voice sounded out. It was Edizon. He was still watching the redhaired woman fighting not far from us.

"Do you need more time?" Edizon muttered, not even bothering to look at me as he continued to watch Isabella fight neck and neck against the Cult Monkeys.

I took a deep breath as I joined in watching Isabella fight with the Cult Monkeys. As I continued to watch my friend struggle to continually survive... It finally hit me. The last piece of advice that I'll ever need to get me back on my feet...

I was so caught up in my own sufferings that I started to forget what it's all about. It was always about the pain, the effort, the sacrifice of Humanity in order to survive. How can I say that I'm alone if humanity has sacrificed itself in order for me to help save the world in this lifetime? as I thought about this, I stood up...

And right then and there I pledged to myself...

"In my previous lifetime, Year 20XX Humanity fell down not long after the barrier that is separating our world from other worlds perished."

"I struggled to survive for eight more years only to slowly watch everyone I love die one by one..."

"Just when I thought it was finally my time to go, it was as if God finally heard all of our prayers and sent me back in time to give us another chance."

"We are not allowed to lose."

"No... We can't lose. Not when we're ahead."
