Perfect for me
Chapter 13
Looking at the ceiling after waking up everyone was gone so I took that opportunity to stand up. Looking around I snuck into the bathroom to take a bath. Letting the water flow filling up the tub. Once the tub was full I slipped into the water still wearing my clothes. Sitting in the water with my clothes clinging to my body I felt tears slip down my face. Finally bringing myself out of my sadness I stood up. Dripping wet I slipped my clothes off myself and set them into the bathroom sink. 'No more time for being down.' Taking my medication I slipped into the tub once more this time dunking my head beneath the water. Flowing out of the bun my hair fell flat on my back making me seem as if I was covered in my own hair. Sitting back up my hair clung to my body. with my hair down I grabbed a shampoo bottle and started to wash my hair.
With my hair full of bubbles I dunked my head once more under the water. I stayed there underwater contemplating if I should bring myself to take a breath to end it all. Rising up once more I gasped for air. I know I shouldn't try to drown myself someone who wasn't right for me in the first place. Before I end my suffering I need to see if I can still be happy. Grabbing the conditioner I started to rub my scalp. Once done I rinsed my hair out under the water. Reaching up I grabbed body wash cleaning off the grime from my issues. Clean I stood up branding my hair over my shoulder. drying myself I looked at my reflection. I looked determined yet a little broken. patting dry my hair I slipped on a robe.'If anything will make me feel better. It ought to be me getting rid of all the things that remind me of him.'
Slipping on my undergarments I grabbed a simple white t-shirt and blue jeans to wear. Stepping outside with the pillows, sheets, pictures, shoes, the wedding dress, and a few more things I stepped outside. Setting all the items on the sidewalk I got into my car. 'I need to buy some lighter fluid and a metal crate.' Buying what I needed I put all the things that reminded me of him into the metal crate. Dumping lighter fluid on top I grabbed a match. Striking a flame I released the match on where I poured the lighter fluid and grabbed a bucket of water. 'Just in case.' Sitting down I watched the flames rise. Noticing smoke some of my neighbors stepped outside to see me sitting in front of a metal crate with a water bucket. Looking closely they saw that what was burning was a wedding dress. The pale blue fading away on the train curling up becoming a brown than a black. It was a heartbreaking sight watching the fire burn away the beautiful dress and other items beneath. 'Burn away my pain.'
