Priestess Of The Land

The next morning, Tria woke up feeling extremely refreshed, she sat up in bed stretching her arms behind her head then rubbed her sleepy eyes. She replayed in her head what happened the night before, she remembered how Crei carried her into her room and tucked her in under a warm blanket, although she was indeed sleeping, she was still monitoring her surroundings.

Her heart warmed at Crei's care for her, she was pleased to know that although he was naughty at times, he was still a gentleman who respected her.

She smilingly got off the bed and prepared herself for the day, but she prepared a little more than usual. She wore a long dark yellow, thin straps dress that hugged her at the waist but waved down her feet. Also, her face was a bit more girly than usual as she let down her flowy golden curls, matching her dress and highlighting her skin. Satisfied with herself, she walked out the door as she breathed in the fresh morning scent.

She was about to go look for Crei but she already sees him walking towards her room.

"You're awake, come on, breakfast is ready, let's go eat."

Tria was confused, he's only been here a night, why does he look so accustomed to the place? He was even wearing a 'fellow disciple' outfit.

"Hm…sure," she followed him curiously.

When she arrived in the dining area, breakfast was already being served, but no one was eating. She could also see the relief on everyone's face on her arrival.

At the top of the table were two chairs next to each other, and everyone else sat on the sides. Everyone was behaving extremely well, and even Khen and Ka'an were quiet, which made Tria really suspicious.

She squinted her eyes at Crei to figure out what was going on, but he just continued leading her to her chair and sat down next to her.

"Let's eat," said Crei, and as if everyone was waiting for that one sentence, they all picked up their utensils and started gobbling down their foods.

"What is going on?" asked Tria.

"They must have been hungry," said Crei naturally while picking out fruits for her.

Tria looked around and saw Chukah with his head almost becoming one with a bowl, avoiding her gaze, then all of a sudden everyone stood up to leave, claiming they were full.

"Senior sister…uuh senior brother, we are going to cultivate now. The week is almost over and we don't want to let you down, so…we'll see you later," not even waiting for a reply from Tria, they all ran and left.

"What the...?" Tria was flabbergasted, she only sat down for probably a minute, and since when were they so eager to go cultivate? Even Ka'an or Mexi didn't have seconds.

"Wifey, it looks like it's just the two of us, take your time and eat, here have some of this sweet potato," Crei was unbothered by everyone's departure, and if anything, he was glad they left.

Tria, finally realizing what happened, she started laughing and smacked Crei's forehead lightly.

"You naughty! Haha, how did you get them to listen to you?" she giggled.

Crei didn't think he was going to get smacked by her, so he was stunned, but hearing Tria's laughter, made him laugh as well.

"They're good people, I met them all last night when Mexi was training them. They were just lazing around so when I learned of the task you've given them I just scared them a little, for motivational purposes."

"A little?"

"Just this much," said crei bringing in his index and thumb together.

Tria was really enjoying her time with Crei, and they had planned to go see fireflies in the evening, but Mexi had just informed her that the earth prime minister wanted to meet with her. She did not delay, as it might involve the construction of the temple, and Crei, of course, followed along.
