'God's Wife

The priestess's power will attract many contenders, as the one who will reign over the priestess shall become a true God, while their offspring will become the next emperor of The Lands.

The choice of the priestess shall be made official when the carnal ritual occurs.

Cautionary:

*Contenders must be of the Celestial Level to be eligible for the ritual, as well as to ascend into Godhood.

*If not, the priestess's powers will be extinguished as well as the contender's cultivation ability.'

Tria was shocked, she immediately researched through the ancient priestess's memories. The most recent priestesses never had the chance to marry anyone before they were murdered, and the ancient ones seem to have never had any relations with the opposite sex. What did this mean?

Did they know? Did they choose to not allow anyone near them? Or did no one make it into the celestial level? She kept on digging into her memories and none of the priestesses have lost their powers, nor have they had any relations of any sort. There were only instances where the persons they loved betrayed them and they ended dying because of it, however, she did not find anything regarding being a God's wife.

Tria was at a loss, did this page turn up because of her feelings and her shrewd mind thinking about her and Crei, or was it a warning?

She wondered at who else knew of this secret because this was something that could be used against her. She then thought about Crei, he was her husband and their marriage demanded that they made such contact to officialize their relationship. She knew he was more powerful than her, but she also knew he was not at celestial level. If she was to choose Crei, at the moment it would wipe away his cultivation and her powers. If she didn't, it would put her in danger of being forced upon by someone else.

She was currently a high-level Saint, and the threshold to advance into Sovereign was a huge leap. It will take her at least another month or two, at the rate she was going. Since this also meant that although she was married, there will still those who will try to win her because of her powers. She needed to be powerful enough, so no one can take advantage of her. She decided that she'll wait, for Crei.

Tria woke up, and her complexion did not look good. Her lips were pale, and she was shivering all over. There was a pain on her chest as if something heating up and painfully penetrating in there. This lasted for a while because it stopped. She laid on the ground huffing and puffing, profusely sweating on all over. She crawled towards the doors in hope to get some fresh air, as soon as he did she was Chukah and Mexi standing outside.

When they saw the state that she was in, they both ran up to her and sat her down on a hair nearby.

"Senior sister! Are you okay?" asked Mexi nervously while using her hands to vent some air for Tria.

"…" Chukah just stood there looking at Tria with his brows furrowed and holding on to his chest.

Tria saw him and wondered.

"Did you feel it too?" she asked Chukah.

"I-I felt something sharp in my chest momentarily, and it linked me to you, and so I rushed over to here."

"Mexi, leave us," she ordered Mexi.

Mexi went into her shadow in left. Chukah then half-kneeled onto the ground.

"Do you know what it is?"

"Yes."

"Tell me."

"…"

"Go ahead, I'm sure I can handle more news today."

"It has to do with your powers, although no one knows of this secret, except for the ancient high priestesses and guardians, you will nonetheless attract certain people because of what is in your um...chest. The pain you felt is because there is a seshen, in other words, a lotus blossomed in um…there. Anyways, anyone who is able to consume the lotus will be able to bring their true powers within forth."

"Well, I'll be…." said Tria as she slumped her body even further into the chair.

'Not only did they warn me, but they have also marked me as a target, sending off to slaughter. How am I supposed to go outside when I'll be like a magnet attracting perverts? At least it won't all men, but I wonder if that is the true purpose of a priestess? After all the whole extermination of the ancient priestesses seems skeptical, as well as the fact that they passed down only certain memories. How much Chukah as guardian knew of this information and she didn't?'

Tria had many thoughts rummaging through her head, but she had to currently hold on to these thoughts, as she saw her fellow disciples making their way over.

"Senior sister! Senior sister! There is a group of people in front of our gates, and this man called Zebri is leading them, demanding for compensation about some guys that got beat up," explained Khen.

"Senior sister, did you beat up someone?" asked Ka'an with her eyes glowing.

"They will not stop banging on the doors, sister Mexi is currently holding them off, but she doesn't know how you want to deal with them, so she sent us."

Tria thought about the already forgotten brawl from earlier, and at the whoever person wanted to buy her temple. She already had the prime minister relay that she will not sell, why were they so persistent?

She felt better now, so she stood up and made her towards the gates. When she arrived there she saw a towering figuring shouting over the gates.

"Bring your missy over! How dare she hurt my brothers, they are still laying unconscious in bed, I don't care! Bring her here!" shouted Zebri at Mexi, but she didn't even bother to look at him, she simply stood in the doorway, if they force their way in, then they can't blame her for throwing their lives away.

"Did your master send you?" asked Tria sternly at the tall man.

Zebri looked over at the newcomer, and squinted his eyes at her, she fit the description given by Zaac so he nodded at her.

"Good, then bring me to them. I will personally tell them of my decision about their offer."
