Priestess Of The Land

Tria had gone back to the guest house and called out her companions.

"Everyone, I will be leaving tomorrow with Crei, and we might be gone for a while. I know our journey has only just begun, but do not worry, this is not the end. I have thought about it, and I would like you guys to go to the Sun Land, and join Djo and Dja," said Tria as soon as everyone was situated in the courtyard.

"Senior sister…" said Ka'an, "are you alright?"

"Thanks for asking Ka'an, but I'm fine. I just wanted to spend some time with Husband," she said smiling.

Crei who was not too far felt his heart melt a little, his wifey was so charming.

"I don't want you guys to go over there and wait for me, each and every one of you will have your own duties. Let's start with Mexi, you will go back with them as well, and you will be the senior and make sure everyone stays out of trouble."

"Yes, Mistress," answered Mexi, their journey was coming to a pause, so was her role as a junior sister.

"Next, is Seti, as the oldest, this task will fit you best. I want you to open a restaurant in the capital for the upper class as a front, but your real goal will be to collect information. I do not care about imperial arguments but keep an ear out for anything related to the priestess…hm as well as the Ashir Family."

"Yes, Mistress, this subordinate will not fail you," said Seti as she bowed towards Tria in respect. Seti was sold by the family she served because she would not give herself to her master. She was a beautiful woman and her mature look made her even more attractive, with her owning the restaurant, patrons will definitely come.

"Hmm, although Mexi will be there to support you, I'm sure she won't always be there, so Seti will join you as well."

"Yes, mistress," answered Seti.

"Ka'an, Kal, and Khen, the three of you will be cultivating and learning martial arts, as well as knowing the fundamental teachings of the Lands. Also, you will collaborate with Talei, and organize the information you received from her. Report to Mexi any news you find odd."

Ka'an who does not like to study flinched, but she enjoyed fighting so she was excited nonetheless, her and Kal and Khen all nodded to Tria and unison.

"Lastly Voni, Djo, and Dja will be your responsibility. As their older sister, I am not there to dote on them, and they need nurturing at that age. Please take care of them for me."

Voni's eyes teared up at Tria's request. She had been sold by her own husband, and it always her wish to have children, however, after being tortured for years, she is now unable to bear any of her own. She was pleased to know that Tria would her take care of the twins.

"Yes, mistress," she answered, with her eyes full of tears.

Tria smiled in contentment.

"I, more or less, have given you all duties from what I have felt you desired when I cleansed you back then. I have felt your pain and I shared it with you. You are no longer slaves, you are free, and you can now live the way you have always wanted. Take care of yourself and watch out for each other while I am gone. Now enough of this somber atmosphere and let's have a feast, I am famished," said Tria as she held on to her belly.

Everything started laughing and the atmosphere had gradually become better throughout the night, as everyone had eaten and drunk their fill. They were all looking forward to the Sun Land and their future tasks. It felt great for them to know they could finally settle down like normal people.

Tria, however, was nostalgic about everyone leaving, but this was for the best. Although they were all cultivators, her enemies were too strong for them to fight against. She had excused herself to bed early, and bid her farewells to everyone, since she probably would not see them in the morning, before her departure.

-About a few days earlier, at the royal palace-

Emperor Chen was in his study looking over reports about the empire and most importantly about the priestess. Suddenly the windows opening as the moonlight shined upon a woman with pale skin and silver-white haired. She wore a tight silver dress, showing her abundant curves, striking the emperor speechless.

"Lady Mgor!" called out the emperor with a stunned expression.

"Your Majesty,' greeted Mgor but she did not curtsy.

"What a wonderful surprise, to what do I owe this visit?" Emperor Chen asked. The Moon Land people rarely showed their faces so he was surprised to see the Moon Land's advisor.

"The Lord will pay you a visit soon, and he has sent me to inform you in advance," Mgor got straight to the point.

"In honor to what will be his visit Lady Mgor?" the emperor asked.

"The Lord's sister, Lady Elaine."

"Who?" asked the emperor in confusion.

"Please await the Lord's arrival for your questions. I have relayed his message, I shall now take my leave." Mgor left just she came, with the wind.

The emperor was left confused. Why did he need to speak to the Lord of the Moon Land about his sister for? 'Was he thinking of sending her to me?' the emperor thought deeply.

Meanwhile, in the Ashir Family, Prime Minister Ra was still unhappy about that daughter of his who had claimed that she was no longer a part of his family. He would not have cared before, however, the third prince was not a cripple as he had believed and there was a possibility of him succeeding the throne. Ra was racking his brain to think of ways to get close to Crei, however, every time he had gone to the third prince manor, he was rejected.

Tria was clueless about these happenings, she was currently laying on her bed with Crei's chest as her pillow, snuggled deep into his warm embrace like a kitten.
