As soon as Tria opened her eyes, she heard the voice of Crei Chen, "You're awake, here, drink this it will help calm your nerves", he handed a bowl of soup to her. She did not hesitate and finished the whole bowl, she was not worried about him harming her.

"Thank you", she said, looking up at the man, her eyes did not hurt anymore. She was able to clearly see his features now, it would not be an understatement to call this man a godly beauty. He was tall, lean, and his bronzed skin made him look ethereal. His face was nicely sculpted with a sharp jaw, he had dark eyebrows and deep hazel eyes above a pointy nose and dark rosy lips. As for the ill energy surrounding him, she now knows what it was and noted in mind to help him as soon as she got a better understanding of her powers.

Crei felt her gaze on him, he was not bothered by it, that should even out him checking her out earlier.

Breaking the silence, he said, "I am sure, you have many questions" he sat on a chair near the bed, awaiting her questioning.

"Why did you ask for me to marry you?", she asked first because when her energy got released, she remembered everything that happened that night. The truth of what really happened was known only to him and her, and there was no need for an engagement so why did he ask for her hand in marriage?

"…."

Noting his silence, she continued, "let me guess, were you worried that I would spill the secret of you not being a real cripple? You decided marrying me would not give me a chance to tell anyone. Killing me in the manor would have you investigated, however, if I became your wife, and died, it would be up to the husband to investigate."

"Smart, that is mostly true, who would have thought that you would also turn out to be different from the rumors."

"…", now it's his turn to make her speechless.

"No offense, if anything it was a compliment"

"Other people not wondering why a prince would marry a waste like me, is because of your reputation. However, anyone with a brain would suspect something. You're not a woman, what's there to be so bashful about a girl seeing your body, by the way, did you come up with that excuse?", Tria slightly mocked him, and his eyebrows furrowed

"You dare to mock this Prince?" he then realizes how bad that actually makes him look, then he goes toward the door, he orders, "whoever came up with the excuse for me to marry the daughter of the Prime Minister, have them get whipped 20 times".

The poor soul, who had to rack his brain for the prince to marry the Tria was originally celebrating about his contribution, was now being dragged to the dungeons. It was not even his idea, to begin with, he just thought if men must take responsibility when such situations occur with women, why couldn't women take responsibility as well? It was too late to regret anything, if he doesn't die, next time he will think twice being wronging another woman.

Taking a serious tone, Crei said, "I originally did not want to bring you back, I saved you that night because you reminded me of myself. I used to be bullied by the lowliest servants, at that time, I too had someone save me, and so I did the same for you. If you want to leave my side, I will not stop you. However, if you decided to stay, you are now my wife, you will need to perform your duties. I will give you until tomorrow, I will come back by lunch to know your decision." Before Tria could answer, he had already left the room. If he stayed longer, he would not be able to contain what he was feeling. He has never conversed with another woman so comfortably. Though Crei gave Tria an ultimatum, he hopes she stays.

Looking towards the direction Crei left to, Tria laughed to herself at how he was acting. Then she whispered to herself, "I have already made my decision, Husband."
