Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 209 - Divine Visitor

"What are we going to do if the world seed doesn't bloom because there is not enough mana?"

This was a question many had in mind but nobody could answer it.

Even Aunt Kia shrugged her shoulders, not saying anything at all.

However, Shane didn't even hear them anymore because he was focused on absorbing mana to his heart's content.

For most people, absorbing mana was boring and sometimes even arduous but Shane never felt like that.

Every single time he absorbed mana, his body felt stronger and more energetic than before which was an addictive sensation.

As such, he didn't even bother to listen to Uncle Cheng's worried question as it might disrupt his mana absorption.

Furthermore, he sensed that the mountain of [Soul] grade mana stones was enough for the world seed to bloom.

His world seed was different from others because it was discounted and bought through him having earned everything by himself in addition to being at the Apprentice stage!

As such, everything about it was a little bit different compared to normal world seeds!

When he sensed that his consciousness was entering a fully focused state, Shane couldn't suppress his smile anymore as the world seed's mana absorption increased in accordance with Shane's concentration.

He entered the [Zone] state faster than under normal circumstances which were probably because he felt that he knew that his family was around him, protecting and caring about him.

As the suction force of his world seed increased, everyone around was astonished and they couldn't suppress their proud smile when they saw Shane enter the [Zone] state.

Aunt Kia, who was the first one to notice this, suddenly said,

"He is a true prodigy…", while Uncle Cheng could only say "Didn't we know that from the beginning after he regained his life force after dying when he was born?"

Even Lory who was normally not melancholic couldn't help but add

"I hope we raised him well...would Sarah be proud of us?"

After Lory said so, everyone went silent and several hours passed before most of them had to leave in order to catch up on their postponed schedule.

His family had put everything else on hold including important meetings and appointments to help him.

This showed how important Shane was to them and they could only hope that nothing bad would happen.

While everyone else left one after the other, only Kia and Uncle Max stayed back, looking at Shane with a confident smile.

Unlike others, both Kia and Max didn't have many responsibilities as they followed the path of a researcher which gave them the chance to stay with Shane.

While Kia would spend most of her time acquiring more knowledge about the Primordial Dimensions in order to help Igra advance further, Max followed the path of a beast researcher to help humans to figure out what to pay attention to when facing certain beasts.

One could already determine a lot about certain beasts based on their outer appearance,, which was one subject Max researched, while the other one was how to speed up the evolution process of certain beasts.

Max was a tamer and it was evident that he wanted to see that his tamed beasts wouldn't be neglected the stronger he would become.

Shane had lost track of time as he sat peacefully in the pile of mana stones as his world seed's mana absorption increased with every passing hour.

Two weeks passed and Kia predicted that it was about time for the world seed to blossom.

Fortunately enough, the amount of mana stones they had acquired seemed to be enough and there was still a surplus left which was a good sign.

Suddenly, without any prior warning, Shane's body felt like it began to churn with mana particles that played within and around his body trying to enter the world seed.

He tried to move when he sensed his mana pool and was screaming in pain, but Shane was unable to move a muscle.

Everything felt like a dream and he was unsure of how much time had passed when he noticed that he was able to move freely again..

However, weirdly enough the first thing he did was to levitate in the air and he wasn't even aware of doing it.

Looking down, Shane noticed that his body was still at the exact same position, while he sensed that he ascended further in the air.

Normally this would have been horrifying but Shane's mind was still crystal clear and not a single emotion tarnished his senses as he wondered

'Is it already time?' He didn't know why exactly he thought like that but while he ascended, time seemed to have stopped too.

The mana particles enveloping Shane weren't moving and neither was Aunt Kia nor Uncle Max which should have been worrisome and confusing.

Yet, Shane was still unaffected by everything as the space above him distorted.

Tearing the space apart like a soft fabric, a faint golden light spread through it. Shane could see the glimpse of a large eye that had a mixture of a golden and silver color within them.

This eye was covered by the gold shining light which radiated through the torn space and there was nothing else Shane could see, hear or feel.

However, when he perceived the eye sizing him up, Shane couldn't help but feel a terrifying pressure enveloping him.

That was when he knew for sure that the being that looked at him was almighty, or at least too far for him to reach with his current capabilities.

It wasn't like the golden-silverish colored eye released mana or anything like that to intimidate him….it only looked at him.

Fortunately, the pressure dissipated a moment later, releasing Shane from the suffering as the torn space returned to its original appearance again as if nothing happened.

Shane, in his mysterious state outside his body, was forcefully retracted as time continued to run as it should have.

After he merged with his body again, Shane was pulled out of the [Zone] state as he thought.

'What was that and how could it stop time??'

Shane was utterly dumbfounded and he couldn't fathom what he had experienced moments ago.

Only one thing was sure!

The being that had visited him was extremely powerful to be able to twist space and stop time in a certain region as if it was an everyday occurrence.

There weren't even mana fluctuations left behind and it was as if nothing had happened.

Not even Aunt Kia or Uncle Max noticed that something was off and the only thing everyone could see and perceive was the thick golden hue that permeated the air around them.

They only believed that this phenomenon had stemmed from Shane, or rather his world seed, indicating that it would bloom any moment.

Yet, Shane couldn't help but feel shocked about what he had witnessed.

He didn't even notice that the world seed was about to finish absorbing enough mana to bloom when he sensed the golden light around him.

It enveloped him, aunt Kia and uncle Max and the three could sense that their mana veins were suddenly screaming in desire to absorb mana.

While aunt Kia and uncle Max suppressed this desire, Shane calmed down as he lifted his head to look into the blue sky that was permeated by the golden hue.

Shane couldn't help but wonder what was going on, but with the golden hue permeating the air, he also noticed that his world seed erupted without warning, demanding more mana than it previously did.

The countdown of the world seed reached the last few hours and Shane knew that the world seed would bloom soon which caused him to grin joyously before he focused on absorbing mana again.

Within a single second, he entered the [Zone] state yet again due to the golden hue that seemed to be extraordinarily beneficial to absorb more mana in a shorter period.

However, without Shane realizing it, four days passed before the golden hue dissipated, which allowed him to leave the [Zone] state.

Opening his eyes, the first thing he saw were football-sized yellow slits staring at him with gentleness.
