Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 224 - Furious Pugilist

Talia was shocked beyond measure when she heard what Shane's plan was and what he offered.

"You want to create an Artisan hall or a Faction with both Artisan and combat-oriented occupations? What is your plan? Create a whole damn empire and revolt against John Stella? And what is this weird offer, give me a number and not 'support all of you with all my capabilities as long….'! What kind of business is that??"

Chuckling lightly at Talia's outburst he couldn't help but shrug his shoulders as he said

"I don't plan to overthrow anything, but that doesn't mean I don't have greater dreams. What's so bad about creating an empire...you know that I have a whole world within me, right? As long as I awaken its mana heart, establish an ecosystem and infuse more affinities into the planet core, the world within me can become something Igra won't be able to face head-on."

Laughing out, he couldn't help but think how shocked his family would become if he were to create a whole empire within himself as he added

"Don't be afraid. I won't do anything bad against our race and it wouldn't be anything disadvantageous either. It is an exaggeration to say that I want to create an empire immediately, but a Faction can be used wisely and be versatile. At least, if we have both sections, combatant and Artisan occupations!

Just imagine the possibility that we create multiple farms for the government who gives us a huge fortune of gold coins in exchange. Furthermore, as a faction, the noncombatant occupations could support the combat occupations from the backend. Blacksmiths and Alchemists are only the beginning. There are still trap masters, weavers that make miscellaneous items that can actively support someone during the hunting process.

It could even allow someone to hunt faster. Adding the two craftsmen occupations your friends have, they alone would be enough to reinforce and strengthen shelters with their great capabilities which they obtained due to their occupation! With enough gold coins, I could support everyone without holding back on funds, which is why my offer was not about numbers but about my will to give you guys everything. That is if I have enough funds and the fact that I can't give everything to one person alone.

If you want numbers, I can give each of you 500 Gold coins a month as long as you stay in the basic dimension. I don't have a huge fortune of gold coins right now but I'm sure that this amount is more than pleasing. At least for the start, without having seen how capable all of you are!

Once you guys advance to the intermediate dimensions, I don't know how exactly the system would react if some of you were to be inside the Hidden Paradise while I enter the basic dimensions.

Maybe it would reject me but that's not something to be concerned about, for now!

What do you say?...before I would give the same offer to your friends I would like to know what you think about it…"

Shane knew that his offer was good, but there were also things he couldn't calculate.

If he were to build a faction that would have its headquarters inside the Hidden Paradise, Shane would have to trust everyone to a certain degree.

It was not possible for anyone to enter or leave the world within him without his permission. At the same time, he could expel everything and everyone with a single thought.

However, there was always the possibility of greed overwhelming someone, which might create chaos and destruction.

A single mana-infused bomb would be enough to destroy a large margin of his planet within a single minute. Adding the fact that there might be several hundred faction members in the future and some of them might be residing within the Hidden Paradise the threat would be even worse!

As such, a certain degree of trust was required and Shane had no choice but to gamble, hoping that Talia and her friends were trustworthy.

He would get to know them in the future which would be enough to figure out if they were trustworthy.

Furthermore, for now, there wouldn't be many more students he would invite into his faction.

To construct a proper foundation, they would need funds and for that, his plan with the Nightshade flower field had to work properly.

Staring at Talia, who was deep in thoughts, he grew nervous as she replied,

"Alright...I will ask the others what they think about your offer...I don't think anyone will have something against it but taking care of an artificial Nightshade flower field might not be as easy as you probably think it is. At least, it's different from the place you found them originally. That was their natural habitat and nature's care was already enough. As such, it might be necessary for at least one person to stay continuously inside your world...If that's the case the real question is if you or the other person can cope with this!"

Shane was astonished because Talia seemed to have become much more confident than she was in the beginning.

He could only nod his head and say "I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow before your friends wake up...but let's hope that nobody has to live in my world….because, I can't reassure everyone's safety within the Hidden Paradise if something were to happen to me!"

Talia also nodded her head, and had expected that as an answer which was the reason for her to raise the concern about 'living inside the Hidden Paradise'.

"I think it would be best if I were to talk with my friends first...after that, I can let you know their answer. That is if it's fine with you!"

He simply nodded his head as there was nothing Shane could do against her proposal either way. As such, Talia bid Shane farewell before she got engrossed in thoughts as she walked back towards the infirmary where she wanted to wait for her friends.

According to her, she had nothing else to do either way and had been thinking about their future plans during the last few weeks, when she heard that her friends had been beaten up badly.

She would have never imagined that her world would be turned upside down, several times in a span of 24 hours.

Too much information flooded her small brain and she could hardly cope with Shane who had stated everything so nonchalantly.

She couldn't fathom how such a monster like Shane could exist but Talia knew a golden opportunity had come knocking at their door in his form and they couldn't afford to miss it.

Nobody could disregard the possible dangers, but the benefits were worth it, at least in her opinion!

When Talia walked away, Shane turned back to Umbra whose head stuck out of the water to look at him, requesting to enter the Hidden Paradise again.

Smiling lightly, Shane accepted Umbra's request as it shot out of the water, towards him, pushing Shane over as Umbra's 50-meter long body disappeared into thin air.

The Hidden Paradise's size increased by 2 meters in diameter which was nothing.

Nevertheless, it was enough for him and Talia to figure out everything necessary!

He could increase his world's size up to 10,000 meters with the stored amount of mana but he would rather store more mana for perilous times instead of playing around like a fool!

Now that he had found what he had been looking for, Shane began to wonder what he should do first.

Shane accessed the system and he noticed that he had missed a few calls while he had been occupied with Talia and explaining to her everything about the world within him and his future plan.

Some might think that he was too ambitious but ambition was a kind of fuel for many beings, including humans!

In the end, Shane's ambitions were just different from others, which was definitely not something bad!

Taking a look at the calls he had missed, Shane decided to call Olivia, the [Furious Pugilist], which was the alias he gave her.

She had called him the most during the last few hours and the first thing he heard when the call went through was her screaming,

"SHANEEE!! Where are you? How have you been? Why didn't you call? Aimy and I missed you! You should have become much stronger, right? Let's fight!!"

Shane was unable to say anything because Olivia continued to blabber without holding back. More than five minutes passed before Olivia finally grew tired of speaking fast, and took deep breaths, which gave Shane, who was already on his way to the colosseum, the opportunity to breathe as well.

"Let's meet up at the colosseum and bring Aimy with you! I doubt that I'm stronger than you but I will gladly spar with you!! Other than that, I have something else to say to both you and Aimy. It should be  interesting for the future!"

After that, he hung up, ignoring the other calls he had received.

'Right now, everything works out better than planned...Inviting Aimy and Olivia to the faction if I were to create one, would be a good decision. They're not only kind and undiscriminating but they have some potential as well. It might take some time to train them, but it should be easier than training someone without any combat awareness.

To have encountered Talia and her friends was a fortunate coincidence but I have to act carefully now...Being too impatient might be the worst I can do, but the same applies to them either way.

The Nightshade flowers I plucked will bring a small fortune and their growth in my world shouldn't take too long either…'

Shane's mind was filled with all kinds of plans that began to form as he suddenly remembered that his initial plan had been something completely else

'Didn't I come back to learn the concealment skill and purchase all necessary items to catch the Lesser Starlet Fox?... What the hell happened….didn't everything escalates too quickly?'
