Especially on the narrow and rugged path. For the totally distracted Shi Qing, it spelled disaster. He hobbled for a few steps and, without noticing, almost tripped and fell flat on his face.

Fortunately, his brother wasn’t an ordinary man. He instantly caught his waist and lifted him up sideways.

Li Xia’s cheeks flushed slightly and he lowered his head bashfully.

Qin Mo picked up his chopsticks and placed a piece of braised ribs into Shi Qing’s bowl before continuing, “I believe Ye Zhen will be very pleased as well.”

Everyone in the room was stunned.

Ye Zhen? Ye Zhen was the second eldest son of the Ye family and was very well renowned. It was that Alpha who went on a mad chase after another Alpha.

Qin Mo raised his glass amiably. “I wish you and second brother a happy marriage in advance.”

Well folks, reality is here, and I’ve officially returned to work. I can’t remember what I’ve said about my job, but I’ve temporarily left my Public Health position to work in a local hospital again, so that means shift work! However, thanks to a very kind kofi donation, Helli and I are going to try our best to get some more frequent releases going. In other news, I have a recommendation. I absolutely love cultivation novels. So much. There are quite a few I’m reading and loving, but one in particular I’d like to point you all towards. It’s called Let’s Talk About that Guy Who Transmigrated to Pursue Me. If you go to the translators twitter you’ll get a few chapters ahead. So far, the characters are so interesting, the story draws you in, and there are neat things like communication and mutual trust. The translation is somewhere around the halfway point so I don’t know what is coming of course.

A few other cultivation novels that may not have as many readers as others that I really enjoy, without the links are: White Cat’s Divine Scratching Post, The Villain has Something to Say, and Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know. I highly recommend all of them.
