30. Event Occurrence (3)

Ye-Hyeon gradually regained stability over time and regained his reasoning.

Ye-Hyeon regretted it when he realized he was holding Shin Do-Gyeom’s neck tightly in his arms, and he tried to stand up.

He was half out of his mind and unaware of anything except the warmth, but unlike the slender exterior, he felt a solid build. The damp shoulders were because of him and a soft and gentle scent.

Ye-Hyeon’s face flushed with embarrassment.

What should I do?’

He didn’t want to face the consequences of his actions, but Ye-Hyeon couldn’t hold out like this because he had already stopped crying, and his rough breathing subsided.

Ye-Hyeon slipped back and escaped Shin Do-Gyeom’s arms.

As the distance widened, the hand on Ye-Hyeon’s head also fell off. The cool air touching the skin, which had been heated up, made him feel empty.

He pressed the muscle with his palm and breathed out a trembling breath.

“Tsk.”

He could hear Shin Do-Gyeom clicking his tongue and shaking off his shoulders.

Even though it is a quest, he lost his temper only a few hours ago, hung onto Shin Do-Gyeom and cried. Ye-Hyeon wanted to hide in a rat hole if he could.

“You cry just like you.”

Shin Do-Gyeom spat out insensitively. Despite Ye-Hyeon’s abnormal appearance, Shin Do-Gyeom was not different from usual, let alone worried. It was rather fortunate.

‘What does crying as himself mean?’

Ye-Hyeon was suffocated in a different sense than before.

Ye-Hyeon looked around for no reason, even when he couldn’t see anything, but he tilted his head and looked at the ceiling.

As the eyes gradually adjusted to the darkness, he seemed to see a dim figure. It was higher than Ye-Hyeon thought, so it seemed impossible to climb up the wall.

“……what shall we do now?”

To change the subject, Ye-Hyeon brought up the most urgent issue now. He was embarrassed because there was a slightly nasal sound at the end of the sentence.

“I’ll go around and come back. It’s a drag, so stay here.”

“Let’s go together.”

Ye-Hyeon hurriedly approached Shin Do-Gyeom, breaking through a high pile of dry grass. To be alone in the dark would make his anxiety rise suddenly.

So this is an event, right.’

Ye-Hyeon sighed deeply inside as he tried to listen carefully to not miss Shin Do-Gyeom. He felt like he is being a burden.

If he does two events, I’m going to die.’

<Unexpected Quest>Intimacy Event

Have a successful date and escape.

Time limit: 5 hours. [Time remaining: 4 hours and 39 minutes]

Mission:

1)Skinship. [Time remaining: 43 minutes.]

2) Confess your love.

3) Kiss. (Success)

If successful: ‘target 3: Shin Do-Gyeom’ intimacy +10, escape.

In case of failure: ‘target 3: Shin Do-Gyeom’ intimacy -15, Distress

The system wants him to succeed on a date? A date?

Ye-Hyeon was reading slowly and managed to swallow the swear words that had hit the tip of her tongue. His fists trembled as he clenched them. Even if he fails, he is already in distress! How can he escape? He was so angry that he felt dizzy because of the fever. Ye-Hyeon swept his forehead.

What’s with the kiss? Did he succeed?’

It seemed that he was entangled in a hectic relationship earlier and succeeded unexpectedly.

Considering that it was a kiss, the kiss of the last unexpected quest seemed different.

It was fortunate that he succeeded in at least one, but Ye-Hyeon didn’t dare to do the two more requirements. They had a big fight, but to ask for physical contact and confession of love was nothing short of a failure.

While Ye-Hyeon was secretly pulling his hair out, Shin Do-Gyeom carefully looked around while taking a turn along the wall. The not-so-wide space was blocked on all sides, a small passage that could be crawled out in just one place.

Shin Do-Gyeom turned around without lingering and sat at the furthest place from the passage.

“Don’t waste your energy and sit down.”

Shin Do-Gyeom seemed to intend to wait for the rescue first.

Ye-Hyeon hesitated and sat at a moderate distance apart.

It would be dangerous to fight between the two of us, right?

When he entered the dungeon, he couldn’t escape the “road” that runs from the starting point to the boss room. Even if they intentionally went somewhere other than the road, they returned to the road as they moved forward. It was an immutable law, like the fact that gates disappear when they are cleared.

But now this was clearly a ‘not a road’. Ye-Hyeon had never heard of being able to deviate this far from the road.

What kind of system is this?’

Even after forgetting about it, he felt that the “sim date player” was L-class availability, which is higher than the S-class. Don’t use that great power for such weird things. What’s wrong with giving him some good skills? Ye-Hyeon leaned his back against the wall and rubbed his cheek with the back of his hand.

The regular monster continues to regen until the boss is knocked down. If they move recklessly, they may be able to return to the road, but there was a high risk of encountering monsters.

“I’d rather wear a suppressor than carry you around.”

The suppressor was a restraint to limit the criminals. They would suffered severe pain every time they used their Ability, so they couldn’t use it normally.

“But aren’t I better than a suppressor?”

Ye-Hyeon can’t deny that he is burden, but it was too much to compare him to the suppressor.

Ye-Hyeon couldn’t resist and answered back timidly.

“You can’t even fight because you broke your bow anyway.”

However, Shin Do-Gyeom didn’t even listen.

A heavy object flew, it sounded like Shin Do-Gyeom had thrown away his bow.

“How can you not be of any help? You’re only doing useless things.”

“This, this is my fault?”

Ye-Hyeon pouted. He was so upset that he couldn’t do anything.

He should’ve just picked Baek Hae-Won. Shin Do-Gyeom is doomed anyway.’

Ye-Hyeon complained even though he knew well that he would eventually choose Shin Do-Gyeom no matter how many times he went back to the past.

Ye-Hyeon stared at Shin Do-Gyeom’s likely location.

“Do you have to say that? Are you going to make me angry?”

“Then what should I do? Shake my tail like Yoon Seung-Jae?”

Where did Shin Do-Gyeom, who reluctantly comforted Ye-Hyeon when the panic came, go? Shin Do-Gyeom grabbed Ye-Hyeon’s tail and sarcastically pointed out Yoon Seung-Jae.

Ye-Hyeon clenched his teeth. Ye-Hyeon did not relieve all of his anger. Whether Shin Do-Gyeom has a reason to hate him or not, it was definitely wrong to bully him unilaterally.

The quest time limit was now about four hours away. Even if it seemed a long time, it would be over in a blink of time. In order to escape, he had to coax Shin Do-Gyeom and makeup somehow.

However, anger, which had not yet calmed down, began to boil again.

It seemed that it would not be possible to just pretend to be close to Shin Do-Gyeom. It seemed better to throw the mask and talk openly.

“Hey.”

Ye-Hyeon called Shin Do-Gyeom.

“Why?”

It was the first time that Ye-Hyeon spoke informally to Shin Do-Gyeom, but Shin Do-Gyeom didn’t care at all. Rather, he answered calmly as if he had always spoken informally.

“Why do you keep annoying? If there’s anything you don’t like, just say it.”

“I’m already saying it openly.”

“Haha, ha….”

At Shin Do-Gyeom’s brazen attitude, Ye-Hyeon laughed He seemed to know himself.

Should he say this is a relief?’

Ye-Hyeon tried to be the bigger person. He took a deep breath to control his raging emotions.

Ye-Hyeon knew that talking honestly and getting emotional were not the same.

“……OK. Then why are you picking a fight so openly?”

“Do I need a reason?”

His voice was very sour. If a person who doesn’t know Shin Do-Gyeom heard it, he would have believed that he was being mean for no reason.

“Shin Do-Gyeom, you do this for no reason? That’s not true.”

“What do you know about me?”

In response to the acrimonious question, Ye-Hyeon licked his lips and bit them tightly.

He knows the him three years in the future.’

Ye-Hyeon felt sorry that he couldn’t hit back.

Ye-Hyeon pressed his palm with his fingernails. Even if he acted younger and less convincing than he knew, he believed in him.

Ye-Hyeon shook his head. He didn’t have time to play with Shin Do-Gyeom.

“Honestly, you don’t like me, do you?”

Ye-Hyeon decided to approach it in a different way. Ye-Hyeon pointed to the floor and tilted her upper body slightly toward Shin Do-Gyeom.

It was impossible to know if Shin Do-Gyeom is sitting near him or not.

“…Yes, I don’t like you.”

This time, Shin Do-Gyeom said yes again.

‘This is really….’

Ye-Hyeon pressed his thumb against the frowned brow.

“What do you hate about me so much? I won’t know until you say it.”

“Then you…”

“What?”

“What are you….”

Shin Do-Gyeom’s voice was small, so he couldn’t hear him well. Ye-Hyeon went a little closer to Shin Do-Gyeom.

“I can’t hear you. Say it again.”

Shin Do-Gyeom slowly looked back at Ye-Hyeon. There was no way he could see it, but somehow Ye-Hyeon felt like their eyes met.

“You.”

“What about me?”

“I just don’t like you. Everything. I especially don’t like your brazen face the most.” An unexpected answer came out. Ye-Hyeon couldn’t say anything.

He keeps hurting YH, but can’t be honest. Guys Guide to fixing regrets is now down in the down because the author saw it and they ask me to take it down. Also, my ko-fi because it’s been reported. So many things happened this week forgive me for not updating. I’m wondering if I should take down all of the translated KR works here because the site is honestly at risk or if you guys have other alternatives so you could read.

I’m thinking of dropping all of my KR translations but I’m still thinking about it. I mean I can’t support the site without posting my updated chapters here since I need it for site fees and now my ko-fi is banned too.
