Reincarnated as the Villainess's attendant

385 Chapter 127.5 - A sneak peek into the academy life

A group of youngsters wearing the Aspakeony Academy uniforms all with the closed flower bud badges on their chests was gathered in one of the dormitory rooms.

"Master definitely thinks that we are plotting against him."

A scrawny brown-haired boy with three iron earrings in his right ear sighed, leaning on into the backrest of the chair he was occupying.

"Yes... unfortunately... He always tends to overthink things, doesn't he?"

Another brown-haired boy, this one quite very tall for his apparent age and with a round birthmark on his neck, sitting on the floor with his back against a bed nodded and shrugged his shoulders – which gained him a nod of approval of the fourteen others.

With a group that large, the room most definitely felt cramped, but no one voiced any complaints about it.

"To tell the truth, we have done a lot of things behind his back..."

A black-haired boy with a scar in the middle of his forehead pointed out with a bothered expression.

"Yeah – obviously – he was unconscious! Seriously, Enleve, if that's why he is angry, then let's let him be angry! We will prove that his assumption was wrong soon enough!"

A green-haired boy with shark teeth scoffed angrily and nudged the black-haired boy on the back.

"Onne, you know that's not what I meant..."

Enleve murmured dejectedly, looking to the side.

"Don't you all think that we should have told him that we enrolled to the Aspakeony Academy?"

"..."

A blue-haired boy with a long braid suddenly asked, getting all the others to stop talking and look down with concern.

"We should... shouldn't we? Especially since he doesn't seem to be feeling well... but..."

"At the same time..."

Another green-haired boy breathed out looking around with a mischievous expression, and his sentence got picked up by another black-haired boy, this one slightly on the bigger side.

"...we all want to see his reaction first-hand, don't we...?"

The second – and last – blue-haired boy, this one with a buzzcut, finished it with a cheeky grin and everyone else nodded.

Well... almost everyone.

"Master is sick and he gets agitated easily – not warning him beforehand about our own plans is a one-way road to getting us erased by him."

The only girl in the group – short, petite, and with vibrant amaranth hair and eyes – scoffed, crossing her arms and looking away, all pouty.

"Teenfif – don't be so dramatic. Master didn't even try to outright destroy the sentinel that made contact with the Ghosts and started cooperating with one of them. He would not erase us for blending into the human society. Relax. Also, your new hairstyle looks really cute, it suits you."

"Sh-shut up, boss!"

A boy with moss-green hair, with thick-lense glasses, smiled and leaned towards her – which resulted in the amaranth-haired girl blushing and grabbing her pigtails and covering her face with them...

"Now, now. It's Thitreen. We're all equal now there's no need to call each other in some hierarchical way – except for our master, of course – but he is a different case."

The moss-green-haired boy laughed and waved his hand dismissively.

"That said... we can discuss things later – after today's lectures we shall vote whether we will tell master about our presence in the Academy or not. In the end, we are not sure if he would return or not – especially with how his mana reservoir is spilling out such ridiculous amount of mana."

Thitreen smiled seeing Teenfif's reaction and then stood up and declare to the rest – no matter how much he himself tried to deny it, he was most definitely still the leader of the group and no one had any trouble with accepting that.

In the end, even though they all started as the basic sentinels, they developed quite a bit thanks to the memories of the bandits whose bodies they possessed, and that was enhanced even further by the bits and pieces of the personality of the dead ice magician spreading amongst them when he was erased.

They all were different and have different strengths and weaknesses, but by far the former leader of the bandits with his upbringing as the son of a merchant was the smartest and most quick-witted amongst them.

...not to mention that he had already proved to be the most reliable one amongst the group – in the end, he was the very person that convinced the real headmaster- the gray-haired necromancer – that they should be allowed to attend the Academy on the similar pretense as Burushiitto.

Meaning – as commoners who could use magic.

Although because of the story they went with – that being that they were a group of orphans from the Banemor territory – a lot of other theories and gossip arose around them.

One of them was that they were just a bunch of illegitimate children of some nobles.

The other was that they were results of the experiments with mana performed by the evil young lord of the Banemor territory.

...that being Zoemi, of course...

Truth be told, that later one was just as outrageous as it was problematic – it certainly interfered with the group's intended purpose – that being befriending as many nobles as possible so that they would be later turned into their master allies which was supposed to counter the rampant spread of misinformation about him coming from seemingly every part of the Bellcephora Kingdom.

That being said – the group left the room, causing a small-scale uproar as honestly, seeing fifteen people just pour out of a single-bed dormitory room was enough to startle the other students going for the first lecture.

*thump*

*clack*

With the sudden addition of a group like that, it was inevitable that someone would walk into someone else – and indeed, a tall red-haired boy bumped into the moss-green-haired Thitreen and ended up knocking off his thick glasses.

"...!"

All the other puppets stopped in place – some straight-up activated their enchantments – as the older student – a third-year one, judging by the flower in full bloom badge on his chest – glared down at the much shorter moss-green-haired boy.

"Watch where you... HIIIIIIIH...!"

The older student scoffed pridefully, but all that spunk disappeared in a flash with a short glare from the beady moss-green eyes that carried the bloodthirsty murderous intent that made the larger boy back off with a high-pitched squeal of terror.

"Please excuse me, my lord."

Thitreen bowed down and apologized politely while leaning down for the knocked glasses.

"Let's both have a productive day, my lord."

Thitreen added, putting the glasses back on, sealing off the glare of a maniacal serial killer and bowing his head once more to the upperclassman stunned speechless, and leaving without hearing his response.

"You're doing it again, boss."

Teenfif increased her pace to catch up to the moss-green-haired boy and whispered, leaning towards him.

"...I know... I just find it hard to control my disgust towards the nobles since my body turned into that of a teenager... And it's Thitreen, not boss."

"Augh...!"

The bespectacled boy nodded with a sigh – before glancing at the amaranth-haired girl and flicking her forehead, making her let out a cute voice as she backed off in shock.

"Onne and Enleve – go to the kitchen and get lady Patishi – knowing her, she forgot that she is now a student, and lost herself in cooking after the breakfast with the first prince."

"On it!"

"Sure!"

Thitreen raised his hand and waved it towards the branching hallway while calling at the green-haired boy with shark teeth and the black-haired boy with a scar in the middle of his forehead – both of who nodded and separated from the group immediately.

"Boss cares only about lady Patishi, and I am the same as her and right here..."

"There's no need for jealousy – she's our master's little sister – she isn't more important to me than she should be to any of you. And it's Thitreen."

"!!!!!!"

Teenfif pouted, muttering to herself all sulky – which Thitreen not only heard but even commented on with a sigh, causing the amaranth-haired girl to blush so hard that her face and hair colors ended up matching.

Their group now two members lighter, walked to the dormitory entrance and ended up walking next to a certain dark-haired girl walking together with her brown-haired female attendant.

"...should we tell lady Espine about master waking up...?"

The blue-haired boy with a long braid whispered conspicuously.

"Of course not! She doesn't know about us! How would that look to you if you were in her place? A random guy just comes up to you and tells you your beloved is all better now. You would be lucky if lady Veo's sister would only knock you out!"

"...!"

Teenfif turned right around and hissed at him furiously, making him back off and hid behind the tall brown-haired boy with a round birthmark on his neck, which shut down that idea, and they all continued with their day like normal.
