"We have lost our brothers in this battle, but we have managed to repel so many goblins with only a few casualties. I can't say anything other than how proud I am that we've achieved it." Aran, standing in the middle of the crowd, raised his cup while giving his speech.

"It's fortunate that there was no other damage in the town and we can return here to celebrate this victory." Aran looked around.

Some adventurers were bandaged, but all of them wore a smile as they felt proud of that achievement too.

"I want to thank you guys for doing all this. However, I do want to give a special thanks to someone.

"If he didn't help me in the fight, I might not be able to meet you guys tonight and the situation would be chaotic."

She paused for a moment and saw Albert sitting with the crowd. She walked to him, pulled him up and dragged him to the center.

"If Albert didn't help me, the situation would be much worse. Unfortunately, he can't be with us anymore after today as he has a dream to chase on.

"Instead of preventing him from leaving, we should say our farewell with a smile on our face. Let's send him off with the best smile we can offer.

"Once again…" Aran raised his drink and shouted, "Cheers for today's hero, Albert!"

"Cheers!" The crowd raised their drinks and started laughing.

Albert also did the same and drank everything in one gulp.

The rest followed suit before laughter filled the plaza again.

"Hahaha!"

"Albert is our savior!"

"It's sad to only know him for a few days, but I wish you all the best."

"Go forth, boy!"

The adventurers kept saying many things, from praises to farewell.

Albert smiled and enjoyed his drink.

"Hahahaha! We will drink until we drop tonight!" Aran laughed and started pouring more drinks.

"Ooh!" The rest agreed and started getting more drinks. The town became busy with this celebration and farewell party.

While Albert was drinking with others, Fila suddenly approached him.

Albert raised his eyebrows and glanced at her with a confused expression, wondering why she came to him. If it were about sex, he would reject her offer again.

To his surprise, Fila didn't have that intention anymore. "Are you going now? It will be sad to see you go after only a few days.

"There are a few things I want to talk about, but unfortunately, I can't do it. I don't want to burden your mind with all those thoughts, so I just want to thank you for helping this town.

"If in the future, you want to visit this town again, please don't hesitate to do so." She took a deep breath, calming her heart down. She smiled and said, "May fortune bless you with its presence."

Albert widened his eyes, never expecting to hear all this from Fila. As he expected from the start, Fila was always a thoughtful woman if he ignored her lustful behavior.

Seeing Albert's surprised expression, she made a big smile. "Good luck on your journey."

"Y-yeah. Thank you." Albert furiously nodded.

"Take care of yourself, alright?"

"Will do."

"Then, I will take care of your reward tonight. Since the town is in a festive mood, I don't think I can sleep today…" Fila politely nodded and turned around, heading back to the guild.

Albert suddenly opened his mouth and called her name. "Fila."

Fila stopped and turned around. "Yes?"

Albert recalled how Fila had helped him this whole time, starting from when he first registered himself in the guild to this point. If not because of Fila's suggestions, his progress might only be half of what he had right now.

With a serious expression, Albert said, "Thank you… Thank you so much. If not for your help, I wouldn't be able to reach this point. Once again, thank you."

Fila smiled from ear to ear before she waved her hand. "I'm glad."

After that, she finally left. That smile stunned Albert for a second as he felt that was the most genuine smile he had ever seen. For an instant, he forgot Fila's reputation.

Still, he had decided to go on a journey, so Albert could only turn around with his back facing Fila as he couldn't afford to see her anymore.

Suddenly, a man placed his hand on Albert's shoulder while holding the drink. "Oh, what do we have here…"

"Right… We want to hear this story in detail." Another one came while pouring the wine to Albert's empty cup.

"What do you mean?" Albert hurriedly drank everything in one gulp, not wanting to answer their question.

"One more!" Albert raised his cup.

"Hahaha! Here you go!"

As soon as the cup filled, Albert drank it again while walking around to escape from them. He could handle his liquor even back on Earth, so his mind was still sober at this point.

Since no one was too drunk yet, Albert thought this was the time to start his plan.

He walked toward another guy and asked for another cup. The latter didn't hesitate to pour him a drink and Albert hurriedly finished it.

It was at this moment, Albert suddenly fell silent and dropped to his knees.

"W-wowow?" The guy was surprised when he saw Albert collapsing to the ground.

"What's wrong?!"

"Ah, the boy is intoxicated!"

"I guess he never tried liquor back in his home."

"Can't be helped if you remember his story!"

"Right!"

"Hahaha!"

"Someone needs to bring him to the inn. Since he needs to leave tomorrow, he should have a good rest on a good bed."

The townsfolk were talking about him and Albert knew they were so understanding toward him.

Even though he felt bad about this, he still needed to carry his plan.

When a guy approached him, planning to bring him to an inn, Albert took out his Bonk Bat.

With his body swaying left and right as if he was intoxicated, Albert hit the guy with his Bonk Bat, launching him away.

Bonk!
