"Now that we have settled this problem, how about we talk about our experience? I mean, I'm pretty curious about the life of an anomaly like myself. Of course, if you don't mind sharing it? If you can't trust me, I can also give you a bit of my story first." Yale asked, persuading Albert to share his experience.

Albert thought for a moment and said, "To be honest, there's nothing much. I was beaten by my abusive parents and often starved for a day or two until I was very weak. Recently, I got my freedom and started my new life."

"That's simple but sad at the same time. You were beaten repeatedly every single day, so it must be hard for you, especially if you were hungry." Yale nodded with a sad expression. "As for me, I wasn't beaten by anyone. I didn't even go hungry.

"It's true that my father abandoned me and my former fiancee ridiculed me, but it just happened recently. I even have enough strength to leave the country if I don't like it." He smiled.

'This boy is too innocent.' Albert thought, wondering whether he could keep a secret or not.

"Then, how about your power? What do you feel about your ability? If I am not wrong, you used one spell without an element and another spell with a lightning element, right? This is weird because you feel like you have but don't have an element at the same time.

"This is even weirder than mine. I mean, I have a light element because of my lineage. However, I don't know where my dark element comes from." Yale looked at Albert and asked, "Did your element appear right after you were born?"

Albert shook his head. "No. Because of my past, I could only go to the temple recently to receive a blessing."

"Ah, a job, right?!"

"Yes. After getting a blessing, I was somehow able to wield both of them at the same time."

"In that case… your parents…" Yale looked down and widened his eyes. "No. Your parents must have known about this by secretly testing you. That was why they didn't tell you anything or else you might strike them back."

"Why?" Albert tilted his head in confusion.

"To be honest, an anomaly has its advantages and disadvantages. First of all, an anomaly can bring calamity to others because they're emanating a continuous scent of power. Hmm… How do I explain this…

"Let's just say that an average person is like your common food while we're like your nutritious food. That's the difference.

"As for the advantage, it depends on our element. There are various cases… Wielding two elements will be harder than one, raising the chance of exploding."

"So, you're like a ticking time bomb, huh." Albert squinted his eyes and nodded.

"Time bomb? What's that?"

"Something that can harm everything in your surroundings."

"Well, something like that." Yale nodded with a serious expression. "So, there are more disadvantages than advantages, so people like us usually become an outcast.

"Of course, there are people who can become extremely powerful in the future despite being one. Unfortunately, only one person out of a hundred could do something like that.

"As for me… Haha, I don't know whether I can laugh at this or not, but I actually almost killed around fifty people on various occasions, so I can understand if they want to expel me.

"At the very least, my title as a prince is still useful to keep me alive, so yeah, I want to travel around the world like you, exploring what I can't do as a normal prince. If you don't mind, I would like to be your travel companion.

"Maybe in the future, we can find a way to control this power and become that one percent of people. So…" Yale extended his hand with a smile as if asking him whether it was alright or not.

Albert smiled and shook Yale's hand. "Of course. I'd love to."

"That's great!" Yale made a big smile as he said, "Yennex can't follow us, alright?! I already told you this, so I am just reminding you now."

"What, Young Lord—!"

Despite various attempts to persuade Yale, Yennex wasn't able to get into his mind. In the end, the group traveled for another day before they could reach the perimeter of Borsoli Town.

Unfortunately, they needed to camp outside for one night because they still needed a few hours to reach there, so they planned to enter the town in the morning.

Because of that, Albert learned how the group could survive without many resources.

When they moved to the side of the road, Albert and Yale came out, seeing Yennex walking to the back of the carriage.

It turned out there was a small drawer where they stored the camp, water, and food. It wasn't a big caravan, but they shouldn't have a problem feeding three people.

Yennex skillfully took the food out and immediately prepared something for Yale. Meanwhile, Albert took out dried meat from his bag that he had prepared for a five-day trip.

Yale was wondering why Albert did that, but he soon realized that Albert had indeed prepared to walk across the grassland.

After eating, Yale continued to talk with Albert, trying to know his experience after getting his freedom, yearning for one himself.

In the end, Albert had one question in mind. "Why do you think you're thrown away?"

"Huh?" Yale widened his eyes while Yennex glared at him, not liking the question one bit. Even though Yale had opened up to him, he was still a prince while Albert was a noble.

If they focused on their difference in rank alone, Albert still needed to think about his words.

On the other hand, Yale didn't mind Albert's words. In fact, he was glad to know that his traveling partner would see him as an equal instead of a lord that one could serve.

That was why he wouldn't need to be that stiff on the journey.

Yale took ten seconds to think about it and explained, "First of all, it's because of my ex-fiancee. My father would have helped me if I was bullied by some high-ranking nobles. After all, he still held the highest jurisdiction.

"So, seeing him accepting my fate is the same as throwing me away. He must be thinking that I am a pawn that needs to be sacrificed to appease the nobles or my own brothers and sisters.

"I don't know if you know about it, but we have the usual fighting for the throne stuff, so yeah, my father has thrown me away.

"As for the second reason, everything had been reduced in my mansion… the maids, provisions, and budget.

"Well, this journey is also a part of the reason. Sending me is the same as sending the answer. We have been asked to come to the conference to talk about war and yet, they send a naive kid like me… I might not die, but I will surely be humiliated…

"Last but not least, who cares about what he thinks. I might be a kid, but it doesn't mean I can't retaliate against my father. Since he doesn't care about me, I won't hesitate walking away from home." Yale explained.

Albert nodded in agreement as he had a similar reason why he left his own house. And it turned out to be the best way.

Sadly, he escaped too late as his future was cut off.

It was different for Yale as he had a bright future for himself, so he thought Yale was indeed a good candidate to be his disciple or subordinate. As long as he could make him think about it, he could get his first Bonk Officer.

His strength might not be powerful currently, but he had surpassed the majority of people in Lustville Town within a few days. So, he had the confidence to surpass Yale sooner or later.

After talking for a bit more, Yale returned to his carriage and decided to sleep on the soft couch while Yennex stayed inside the tent.

He was sleeping, but he knew that Yennex was still aware of his surroundings due to his powerful hearing as a werewolf.

Albert ended up staying outside as he didn't have his own tent. Luckily, his fur shields him from the cold wind, allowing him to sleep comfortably.

When the morning arrived, the group immediately continued their journey to Borsoli Town.

They soon reached Borsoli Town. Even Albert was curious and took a peek at the town, finding a tall stone wall covering the town.

The wall reached as high as fifty feet and had a circular shape. The stones seemed to be made of cobblestones as if they were erected just for the sake of being made. There was no real purpose other than using it as a decoration.

Albert even thought there might be a spell that could destroy the wall in one hit. He just hadn't discovered it yet.

Yale looked at the town and sighed. "Well, that's the town, I guess."

"You should be more interested in this," said Albert while staring at the wall.

"Why? This is the same as any other town." Yale was confused, not understanding Albert's train of thought.

"Just imagine if you're tired after walking for a few days. You haven't had any good sleep in the last few days and you reach this town during the night with the lamps brightening the city. What do you think?"

Yale squinted his eyes and looked down, trying to imagine the situation. After a while, he closed his eyes to fully immersed in his imagination.

Suddenly, a smile appeared on Yale's face as he answered, "Yeah. I think I will be smiling when I see that town. There's like a sense of… what? Accomplishment?"

"That's something we can find later. After all, the journey won't be fun if we know where the journey is! We will explore and enjoy everything!" Albert smiled.

"That's so cool!" Yale clenched his hands as he looked at Albert with bright eyes.

Meanwhile, Yennex was gritting his teeth as he still couldn't get over the fact that his master was going to stay outside with the chance of dying.

Soon, they entered the city. Even though he had imagined the scene, Yale still couldn't become as excited as Albert.

Obviously, the reason for Albert's excitement came from the fact that the houses in this town were made of bricks, indicating a more advanced city than Lustville Town.

This place should have many things, so he thought about using his money to buy one or two spells since he had more than three hundred Bonk Bites."

They soon came out in front of an inn, planning to rest to prepare for the meeting that would be held tomorrow.

As if she was aware of their presence, a woman was flying toward them from the top of the inn. She had long black hair beautifully tied into a ponytail with the help of a white hairpin, giving a good contrast to her hair.

She had sharp but enchanting red eyes that could entrance anyone. There was a pair of purple wings on her back.

Still, her face and perfect curves, coupled with the revealing outfits that barely covered her private parts, were enough to make Yale stop thinking about anything.

He was simply staring at her with blank eyes.

On the other hand, the woman's expression darkened as she looked down on Yale.

The moment she landed on the ground, she said with a cold but seductive tone. "To think they sent me the cursed prince… I guess the Pride Kingdom doesn't want to fight alongside me."

Albert felt goosebumps when he saw this woman. There was a strong force of rejection.

His mind was telling him how beautiful she was, but his instinct kept calming him down and replacing it with anger.

Name: Lilith

Race: Succubus

Level: 332

Gender: Female

Seeing Yale was trapped by her beauty and smelling the arousing scent emanating from the succubus made Albert's body move in front of Yale while raising his Bonk Bat as if he wanted to protect him.

'Why did I move? She's too strong, and her gaze… Shit, am I going to die?' Albert gulped down in fear but still asked, "Yale, are you alright?"
