Yale slammed the table and glared at the middle-aged man. "Why did you think I had him as a teacher?"

He immediately picked up two small bolts and plugged them in their tokens. "We are done here. You can proceed!"

Unlike the previous fox, this female fox looked a bit more human. She had slightly yellow skin, but her body features looked similar to Yale.

Other than the skin color, the red-colored tail, and the pointed ears above her head, she would be mistaken as a human.

"Hmm?" The female fox frowned and said, "You two are the new guys here?"

While she doubted them, Albert took the liberty to check her status.

"Yes," May confirmed it without hesitation.

"That's good." Albert immediately moved to the corner and put down his bag. Because Yale told him they shouldn't show the Space Element easily, the Bats were hanging on their waist, so he pulled it with a serious face. "I'm ready."

Seeing Albert was so eager to fight her, Yale put down his bag and moved toward his teacher.

"Are you sure you want to use that as your weapon?" May doubted that the wooden bat was enough to stop her sword.

However, Albert simply stated, "At the very least, I know that you won't be able to cut down this bat."

"That's a big word… But I like it. I hope that you have the strength to back up that word." May smiled.

"Yeah, yeah." Albert shrugged and said, "So, when do we start?"

"We can start now. The moment you move toward me, I will respond immediately." May answered nonchalantly.

Yale and Albert exchanged looks and nods.

It was at that moment the two immediately charged toward the woman.

Albert came to her right and struck her sword while Yale tried to hit the woman from the opposite direction.

Still, May was as strong as Yennex, so she skillfully hit both of their Bonk Bats in succession, knocking them away.

"!!!" Yale widened his eyes as he didn't feel the force generated from the bat again. He tried to channel his power into the bat again, but they clashed with each other.

He ended up taking a few steps back while assessing his current situation.

Yale immediately lost his balance and took a step forward.

In that instant, May struck Yale's bat two times, blowing him away.

'Bonk Arrow.' Albert raised his hand and summoned another Bat next to him before shooting it at May's face.

"Magic?" May widened her eyes and immediately ducked down before striking the bat from below, launching it to the ceiling. Surprisingly, the bat soon disappeared.

Yale took this surprise as his chance to attack May again. However, the latter simply raised her foot and kicked him.

"This is why you shouldn't use a wooden bat. I won't be afraid of it because it's not sharp enough to injure me." May laughed, giving them a piece of advice.

"Hoh? Those words… I am afraid you will regret saying those words." Albert frowned, feeling offended. No matter what, this Bonk Bat was his ultimate weapon and the only one he could use. So, he needed to take pride in this weapon.

Yale also didn't like her statement because this bat was the weapon that allowed him to wield both elements simultaneously.

"Someone from my previous town actually sneaked this thing into my bag…" Albert shrugged. "I didn't throw it away because I thought this was useful."
