A lot of questions 

 Lu Feng exchanged a few words with He Yanli and went upstairs. He did not want much contact with people like He Yanli, thinking, 

Such women are greedy for petty and cheap gains. As long as it is to their advantage, they will stick close.

 There are five floors in the unit building, and each floor has dozens of households where everyone knows each other’s secret; consequently, the whole floor knows about Lu Feng slapping Li Da Fang last night and without a doubt, they are all talking about it. 

 Li Da Fang is notorious for being a bully in the unit building; moreover, she is not any less annoying on weekdays, making many residents secretly suffer.

 In her room, Li Da Fang was sulking with a cold face. She didn’t go out for the whole day.

 “Has that kid Lu Feng made a fortune? He bought a lot of things and wore a suit, and when he squeezed a bag in his pocket, he made it look exceedingly stylish!” Li Da Fang man muttered.

 “He can’t even afford to eat anymore; he’s still pretending to be rich? I’m not finished with him.” Li Da Fang’s expression turned dark and solemnly said, “I’m going to find my cousin, so he can never eat again.”

 Lu Feng opened the door and found that Jiang Xiaoyan had returned, sitting there a little dazed, Duo Duo was playing beside her. When she saw Lu Feng coming back carrying something, she rushed over, and hugged Lu Feng’s calf.

 “Guess what I bought for you?” Lu Feng knelt down and said.

 The little child’s big eyes were full of excitement. Searching in several bags, Lu Feng took out a little doll and handed it to her!

 Duo Duo grabbed the doll, kissed Lu Feng’s cheek fiercely and said excitedly, “Thank you Poppy!”

 Lu Feng stretched out his hand and touched the saliva on his cheek, with an unspeakable feeling of delight in his heart. He stood up and looked at Jiang Xiaoyan, only to find she was looking glum again.

 “What’s the matter?” Lu Feng put the filled bags on the table and asked, “I didn’t hit you again, why this expression?”

 “Where did you get the money to buy so many things?” Jiang Xiaoyan raised her head and asked.

 “…” Lu Feng didn’t know how or what to tell her.

 “You are mixing with your gang of buddies again, right?” Jiang Xiaoyan’s eyes instantly turned bleak, as if losing all the colors and full of disappointment.

 “No!” Lu Feng replied.

 “Then what did you do today? I asked you to find a job. Did you find one? I told the director of the factory today our situation and she found you an unloading job. When I came back, I found you were gone.”

 As Jiang Xiaoyan talked, tears streamed down her face. In order to find a job for Lu Feng, she was stubborn and obsessed. If it was not for the fact that the director is a woman, rumors in the factory would surely have been overwhelming.

 After the director finally agreed after a lot of pleading, she ran back to find Lu Feng but he was gone.

 Lu Feng looked at her, genuinely speechless. He remembered the saying ‘women are made of water’; he believed it now. He stepped forward and wiped her tears and exclaimed, “I was wrong!”

 “Huh?” Jiang Xiaoyan had never earnestly thought about it. She coaxed herself subconsciously and asked “What is wrong?”

 After she said that, she felt that she had been spoiled by him for the past two days and had developed a temper. She chuckled and asked, “If you weren’t with your brothers, where did you go?”

 “I went to look for a job, picked up ten dollars on the way and got the job.”

 “Really? What kind of job?”

 “Uh, it’s a job in a small processing factory, doing a number of things and it pays tens of dollars a month!” Lu Feng bluffed. He knew that if Jiang Xiaoyan knew that he was mixed with Zhou Jianguo, she would definitely think he was the same as before, so he decided to lie. 

 Jiang Xiaoyan was happy, looking at the large amount of vegetables and meat. She stood up and tidied them up, stretched out her hand towards Lu Feng and hooked her finger.

 “What are you doing?” Lu Feng asked, puzzled.

 “Money, or have all the ten dollars been spent?”

 Lu Feng laughed dumbly, took out the remaining seven dollars from his pocket and placed it in her hand.

 “It took so much?” Jiang Xiaoyan felt distressed and counted the money. “I will pay Li Da Fang’s money first. You were impulsive last night, why did you slap her? Don’t you know who her cousin is?  Come with me and apologize to her.”

 “No, you can pay her money later. Now, let’s cook!” Lu Feng said earnestly.

 Jiang Xiaoyan felt that it was a man’s ego at play and didn’t press it; instead, she went to cook.

 There was a burst of aroma in the kitchen and Duo Duo was busy playing with the new doll. The house was full of unutterable warmth, but Lu Feng was thinking about the canning workshop.

 The grain station and the fruits are no problem. Next, a semi-automatic packaging machine is needed, and the canned bottles are also costly; however, the most important thing is the fruit season.

 As soon as the fruits pass the ripening season, Lu Feng will have no supply and the workshop of his will have to be suspended. He only has a few months to obtain these resources.

 “It’s difficult with empty pockets!”

 “Where can I borrow a semi-automatic packaging machine? The glass factory is not easy to fool, but the workers can be told that the salary is higher and it will be settled next month, which can buy me a month’s worth of time.”

 Lu Feng patted his head with his hand, feeling his head is even bigger than Datou’s.

 In this situation, he is definitely starting from scratch: not only are his hands empty, he is also thick-skinned!

 The food was brought to the dinner table. Jiang Xiaoyan took off her apron and invited Duo Duo to the table, “Duo Duo have dinner now, and you can play with the doll later!”

 The family of three was eating peacefully, when Duo Duo suddenly raised her head and asked, “Mom, why don’t you sleep with Dad?”

 “Huh?” Jiang Xiaoyan could not respond to the embarrassing statement that hit her out of nowhere.

 “You kid, where are you hearing these things?” Jiang Xiaoyan’s face was flushed as she asked.

 “Han Xiaoqiang told me that his mother and father always sleep together, and they are under the blanket many times!”

 Jiang Xiaoyan’s face blushed like a monkey’s bum; slapping her hands together a few times she said shyly, “What is this nonsense that kid is talking to you about? Don’t talk nonsense to Han Xiaoqiang, he is a boy and you are a girl, you hear?”

 “But he said many parents that don’t sleep together all get divorced in the end, so I want you two to sleep together.” Duo Duo’s big eyes were filled with longing.

 It could be seen how she cherished her family in these two days.

 “What does that kid know? Eat!” Jiang Xiaoyan hurriedly covered the topic.

 Lu Feng smiled and said, “Then go to bed early tonight, maybe it will happen.”

 “She’s a child! Don’t you fall for that nonsense as well!” Jiang Xiaoyan glared at Lu Feng, her face was intensely red, and the little woman showed her especially coquettish attitude.

 Lu Feng has seen many beautiful women with all kinds of amazing eyes and charms but he has never seen a woman like Jiang Xiaoyan, with a special charm that doesn’t need flattering.

 “Why are you staring at me?” Jiang Xiaoyan gave him an angry look. Not mustering the courage to look again, she lowered her head to eat.

 It was late at night, Duo Duo fell asleep holding her doll and Lu Feng was confused while lying on his single bed. Jiang Xiaoyan looked at the man on the opposite bed in the moonlight shining from outside the window, and her heart was troubled.

 The two have been married for four years yet they have never slept with each other even once; however, no one believes it to be true.

 Lu Feng turned sideways and whispered in Jiang Xiaoyan’s direction, “Are you asleep?”

 Jiang Xiaoyan distracted herself by looking at the sleeping child in her arms as her heartbeat spiked up instantaneously and a blush appeared on her pretty face!
