“I’m the president of The Ghost Club, Lin Xiaotang.”

Under the dim light, the figure of the girl in the black robe was thin, and her dark black eyes were like lake water, dark and cold.

The evil ghost mask’s dark red pattern on her face made her chin pointed and small, pale and weak, revealing a thrilling aura.

“Are you the president?”

Some NPCs frowned and looked suspicious after hearing Lin Xiaotang’s words.

“Isn’t the president of Weitan Club a man?” he wondered, looking at Lin Xiaotang.

In response to the NPC’s concerns, Lin Xiaotang stated calmly, “I’m the new president.”

Her voice sounded strange and dull when she spoke because she deliberately changed her voice.

“What about the former president?” inquired another NPC.

“He wasn’t lucky enough, and he made a mistake.”

Lin Xiaotang did not answer this question directly.

She lightly chuckled and swept over these people, saying, “A person who has made a mistake must go where he should go.”

Lin Xiaotang’s voice was cold, and the words she spoke caused the players around her to panic.

“Bad luck” committed, “Made a mistake”, “Goes where he should go”… When these words are combined, it is clear that the former president has met with misfortune!

A ghost club that only recruits students at night is inherently wrong.

Now that the president has mysteriously transformed into a suspected evil ghost, it appears to be a scene from a horror game…

The NPCs don’t think so much like the players.

After hearing Lin Xiaotang’s words, they realised in their hearts that this was a new NPC sent by the Lord God to replace the former president.

I’m not sure what error the former president made, but he was temporarily replaced.

This, however, has nothing to do with them.

NPCs can converse with the player despite their human appearance.

But, in the end, they are just a programme that has already been written, and they lack the ability to think for themselves.

The NPCs saw no problems in the face of such an unexpected situation.

They didn’t connect Lin Xiaotang to the new players who had vanished because Lin Xiaotang had given them a feeling of the same kind.

This familiar feeling cannot be performed.

Moreover, in the escape game, there are a lot of new players who disappear inexplicably.

Some newcomers don’t believe this is an escape game, and others want to be clever in order to escape the game, but they all paid a high price in the end – being obliterated by the game’s lord god.

Furthermore, where can such a daring newcomer be found who can act without making a single mistake?

Lin Xiaotang has complete control over everything in this regard.

She understands the internal workings of the escape game after being a boss for so long.

She is not afraid to do this because the Lord God will discover that it is wrong, after all, it has thousands of small worlds in its hands.

According to her experience, as long as the game can continue, it will not pay much attention to this side.

Unless, there is so much chaos in the game that the game is stuck and can’t go on at all.

The exact substance of this game is actually pretty evident in the original plot.

From the start, the NPC informed the player that their purpose was to join the Ghost Club and pass the club’s interview.

And the topic of their interview is a peculiar incident that occurred in school.

There are three days of interviews, with each day requiring players to tell a different ghost story.

And these strange stories must contain elements of supernatural and death.

But then, there is a problem.

Players have only recently joined the game; how can they possibly know what ghost stories are going on in this school?

——As a result, players must make the bizarre story genuine in order to retain the “authenticity” of it, even if it is a temporary fictional story.

Players who have told the “Pen Xian” story must return to the dormitories and play the Pen Xian game.

Players who stated that ‘after 12 midnight, the stairs on the fifth floor would change from the 12th floor to the 13th floor’ must also physically visit the fifth floor of the teaching building at 12 midnight and walk the 13th floor stairs.

And as they do so, they will encounter the “supernatural” and “death” plots in their stories.

From another point of view, Ghost Club is like an alternative wishing pool.

As long as it is a story told by the player, it will become a reality.

So, there are two ways to pass the game.

The first one is to survive three days of interviews by making up a temporary story.

Of course, there will always be intelligent people who can use their words skillfully to avoid the story’s pitfalls.

However, this is a type of strength that the game allows.

The second is to use various facts and information to reveal NPCs stereotypes, as well as to unearth true spooky stories that have occurred in this school and tell them as ghost stories during the interview.

In this approach, participants avoid the risk of “playing” geeks.

Lin Xiaotang had no intention of breaking the rules of the game; otherwise, these NPCs would have discovered something was wrong with her.

However, it is not hard to have some fun while adhering to the regulations.

After telling the general rules of the game, Lin Xiaotang smiled slightly when she looked at the people present.

“I’m tired of hearing ordinary ghost stories,” she said casually. “This time, I want to hear something different.”

“A different story?”

The players were surprised for a time after hearing this, as they were still spinning all kinds of odd school talk in their heads.

So, why didn’t she use this setting to make the game more interesting?
