Today was the day of Utaha's signing book event. She was only a newcomer, but her appearance was good that the publisher had decided to create this event for her. Even though she didn't want to do it, but she knew that it was good for her book. Next time, she didn't really want to do this kind of event since for her a writer's job was to write, not to hold hands with strangers, especially when their hands were sweaty.

The only thing which made her happy was probably Haru would become his bodyguard in this event. Preparing herself, she went out to the event's place with quite sleepy eyes since she hadn't slept last night.

---

Haru had promised to become her bodyguard during her sign book event. He decided to wear a black suit and black sunglasses to make himself more professional.

"Where are you going?" Sora asked curiously.

"Work," Haru answered.

"Working? What kind of job?" Sora asked.

"Bodyguard," Haru answered.

"Bodyguard??? For whom???"

Sora didn't expect him to become a bodyguard. She knew that he was quite good at fighting and had a strong body but for him to become bodyguard suddenly.

"Do we lack money?"

Sora was wondering whether they needed more money.

Haru shook his head and said, "No, I have quite a lot of money. You don't worry that much about money." His novel was quite good and he had received quite a sum of money in his bank account. He wasn't going to worry about the money for their education until college.

Sora nodded and asked, "You still haven't answered me, who will you be working for?"

"Utaha," Haru answered again.

"Why?" Sora asked.

"This is her first debut as a novelist. She will hold a book sign event today and ask me to become his bodyguard to guard her through the event," Haru said. He had also done this kind of event in the past when he was only a newcomer. Though he didn't really like it since it was very tiring to sign a book while talking to his fans.

Sora felt a bit complicated but she decided to let him go. She had known Utaha for quite a long time since she was his brother's classmate in the past. She had also heard how hard the book signing event was from him. She also knew that Utaha was quite beautiful and was worried if some pervert tried to do something on Utaha.

"Alright, you need to call me when you come back."

Sora was quite lonely when he left her. She decided to call Megumi to play in the apartment after this.

Haru nodded and said, "I will." He walked toward the door and said, "I will bring you a cake later."

Sora nodded, "Be safe."

Haru nodded and went to the station. Thinking how uncomfortable it was to stay on the train, he thought that he should buy a car or motorcycle to make it easier for him to go anywhere.

---

In the past few days, Haru had done quite a lot of things. He had asked the renovation company to renovate his house, helping ghosts, training magic, etc.

According to the company, his house would be completed in two months which was quite long. Even though the shape of the house was quite good, he wanted to totally renovate it since he wanted to make that house into a cafe. The other reason was that he wanted to erase the haunting impression which came from that house in the past.

Inside the train, he was thinking about the flat magic which he failed to learn before. He knew that to use a certain magic someone needed to have an affinity with that magic. It might be possible for him to learn flat magic, but it might take a long time to learn it. That was why he decided to give up and fully focussed on learning light magic since it was easier.

Even though the function of flat magic was quite good since it could help him escape from a small space or hiding from the enemy, but he had a feeling that a quest would happen soon. It was better to focus on one ability rather than becoming a master of none.

The progress of his light magic was very good since he could heal someone with it and it would become a great support for everyone. For his training, he didn't focus on the attack since it was troublesome to train it at his home since there were a lot of people around him and it would also cause a lot of trouble since he knew how powerful light magic was. If there was an explosion or something, he wasn't sure how to explain it to his neighbor.

That was why he focussed on becoming a supporter since he believed that Gintoki, Yajima, and Tsunade could do the fighting during the quest.

For his attack, he only hoped that his swordsmanship would be useful. Even though he hadn't used it in a real battle, he had confidence that his swordsmanship wouldn't lose to any national athlete in this world.

Haru knew that he lacked a battle experience, but he wasn't sure where he could get that kind of experience since his world was fairly peaceful. He also didn't want to make trouble with raiding a yakuza office or something since he felt that it was too troublesome. Becoming a vigilante was also too embarrassing for him.

Haru was wondering when he would be able to visit another world since it seemed to be very interesting.

But it didn't mean he was eager to visit another world since his world was also fun, especially his time that he spent with various girls such as Akane, Megumi, Sora, Yuri, Utaha, etc. Then his thought broke when his smartphone vibrated. Looking at his smartphone, he saw an email from Utaha.

Utaha: "Don't be late."

Haru: "Don't worry, I'm on my way."

Haru had learned that Utaha's book sign event would be held on the 3rd floor of the famous bookstore in the city. Stopped at the station, he walked toward the bookstore and proceeded to the 3rd floor where the event was located. Entering the location, he saw his editor.

"Machida-san."

"Haru," Machida said with a smile.

"Where is she?" Haru asked.

"She is in the changing room, you should talk to her since she is a bit nervous," Machida said.

"Nervous? Really?"

Haru was a bit surprised to hear that girl was nervous.

Machida smiled and said, "She is very cute, you should try to make her your girlfriend."

Haru decided to ignore her and said, "I will visit her."

Machida shook her head and continued to prepare for the book sign event. Whether Haru and Utaha became a couple, that wasn't her problem, but she had to admit that if she was born 10 years earlier then she might want to make him her boyfriend. Shaking her head, she was wondering why she thought about such a thing so suddenly.

'Well, I might need to find a boyfriend....'
