Haru frowned, but he didn't chase after Kabuto since it was his first time to almost kill someone and he didn't feel that good.

"Haru, Yajima, Kuroneko, are you alright?"

Haru, Yajima, and Kuroneko let out a long sigh when they saw Gintoki running toward them.

Gintoki was startled when he saw Haru was wounded.

"Damn!"

Gintoki felt a bit guilty for leaving them and knew that the one who had attacked them was Kabuto who had run away before. However, he knew that it wasn't a time for revenge and it was better to go to the shelter to protect them.

"Are you alright, Haru?"

Haru healed his wound and nodded at Gintoki's question. "I am fine." He looked at Kuroneko and asked, "Kuroneko, are you alright?"

Kuroneko who had been dumbfounded from the beginning to the end, wanted to stand up, but she couldn't since everything that happened was just too shocking for her. However, when she heard Haru's voice, she quickly looked at him and asked, "Ha... Haru, are you alright?" She felt quite guilty when she saw the red mark on his shoulder.

Haru showed his shoulder that had been healed by his magic.

"You can see it yourself."

Kuroneko let out a sigh of relief when she saw that Haru's shoulder had been healed.

"Still, we need to find a shelter," Yajima said with a frown since this place was just too dangerous.

Haru turned his head toward Anko and asked, "Anko, is there a safe place around here?"

"You can go to the hospital," Anko said. She had a feeling that they might decide to send Kuroneko to the shelter since she had to admit that this place was too dangerous.

"Let's go there," Gintoki said.

Everyone agreed and they decided to go to the hospital.

However, Anko stayed since she needed to help everyone.

Kuroneko was quite pale and she was very tired from both mental and physic. She wanted to return, but she knew that she couldn't until they finished their quest. She looked at the three of them and asked, "Am I a burden?"

"Yes," Haru answered bluntly.

"Haru!!" Yajima reprimanded Haru.

Gintoki didn't say anything since he knew that Haru's wound was because it was protecting Kuroneko.

Kuroneko hung her head down when she heard such an answer.

"That's why you need to get stronger next time. I don't mean in strength but rather mentality, don't get easily scared next time," Haru answered.

Kuroneko was in tears and nodded.

"Yes!"

Haru wasn't surprised by Kuroneko's reaction since he also felt the same time. It was his first time encountering such a thing after all and it was very painful being stabbed. He was lucky that ninja didn't put poison on his kunai or else...

They turned their heads and saw a large snake that destroyed the town. Luckily, it was very far away from their location. They stayed there for a long time and continued to walk toward the shelter only their journey wasn't smooth since they saw a lot of ninjas gathered around them.

It would be fine if the ninja was from Konohagakure but the one in front of them was from Otogakure.

"Hey, what should we do in this situation?" Gintoki asked.

"What else? We need to beat them," Yajima said and turned his hand into a sharp one.

Kuroneko was hiding behind Haru since she felt safer around him. Such a thought had been planted in her mind since he was the one who had protected her at that time.

Haru had been focussed toward his opponent.

Yajima and Gintoki were startled and wondered what Haru was about to do.

"Sleep," Haru said as they fell to the ground.

Kuroneko, Gintoki, and Yajima were startled when they saw a group of ninjas suddenly sleeping soundly without problem in this mess.

"Let's go," Haru said.

Gintoki and Yajima nodded.

"Yajima-san, have you shared a hypnotic magic?" Kuroneko asked.

""No, I don't think I have shared hypnotic magic in the past," Yajima said, and also felt weird.
