Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 2007: Fighting the Tyrant

Thanos was only astonished for a moment, before he regained his senses.

Thor, who wielded a hammer and an ax, had been beaten to a pulp. An Earthling with the Mjölnir hammer wasn’t a big deal.

In the face of Steve’s attack, he didn’t retreat at all. Thanos charged forward and slashed.

The spinning Mjölnir hammer, however, was one step ahead of him, and it smashed into his chest.

Bang!

!!

Thanos barely raised his blade, when he was sent flying ten meters before he crashed to the ground.

Shock and anger flashed across his purple face as he got up. Steve’s shield was thrown at him again, but he blocked it with his giant blade.

Mjölnir, on the other hand, flew out and ricocheted off of the shield with even more force to hit Thanos in the back.

Thanos almost fell to the ground, and the giant blade in his hand was knocked to the ground by the hammer.

As Steve charged forward, he raised his hands, and the hammer and shield flew back to him. He aimed at Thanos, who was now empty-handed.

There was a series of thuds as the hammer and shield hit Thanos again and again.

The huge figure instantly charged at Luke, and one sandbag-sized fist swung out.

Luke didn’t back down at all as he punched back.

One tall, one short, one strong, one thin – their right fists suddenly collided.

Boom!

The shock wave from the punch sent debris and dust flying in all directions.

Luke spat out a mouthful of blood.

F*ck! This punch was too heavy. No wonder Thor, who had no problem punching Dr. Banner, had fallen.

What was even more tragic was that Luke’s punch was from below, while Thanos’s was from above.

Both parties were combat masters, and their fists collided in a straight line with no unnecessary flair.

Most of Thanos’s tremendous strength was brought to bear on Luke, who spat out blood at one punch, and his feet sank into the ground.

Seeing Luke spit out just a mouthful of blood and remain steady on his feet, a trace of surprise flashed in Thanos’s eyes. He drew back his left fist and punched again.

Luke didn’t retreat. He turned around and swung his left fist.

Boom! There was another explosion.

Thanos couldn’t help but step back as he glanced at Luke’s left fist.

The fist, which was less than half the size of his own fist, glowed with a faint yellow light and was extraordinarily tough.

Luke had used the so-called indestructible Kunlun Iron Fist.

Thanos didn’t stop just because Luke’s fists were glowing. He punched out hard like a storm.

Luke’s expression was indifferent, but his eyes burned with excitement. As expected of the legendary super tyrant boss — so strong!

Thanos had an outstanding physique, but he wasn’t brainless like the Hulk.

He also had combat skills that weren’t inferior to Luke’s, and could always gain the upper hand even when facing the Avengers.

Except for Steve’s unexpected attack just now, nobody else could even knock him down, let alone break through his defenses.

With the first two punches, Luke tested the extent of Thanos’s strength. He wasn’t in the habit of being beaten up like a sandbag, and hence decisively used his abilities.

Iron Fist, Combat Proficiency, Quick Reflex and Mimicry combined perfectly, and he managed to block Thanos for a few seconds.

He didn’t dodge the last kick, and was sent flying into the remains of a nearby flier.

Thanos didn’t even look at him as he walked straight to his giant blade.

There were too many people who were more ambitious than the sky, but couldn’t withstand a few punches from him. It was just that this time, it was an Earthling, and he was still nothing like that person who had used the shield and hammer.

Luke, however, didn’t stay down. He slowly straightened up after he crashed into the flier.

There was the sound of cracking as the bones in his abdomen returned to their original positions.
