Chapter 11: School-phobia

“P–please spare my life! Haven’t we known each other since we were little?”

“Yes, I was ridiculed from an early age.”

“Well, that’s because Master ordered me to…”

“How can you expect me to take the word someone who looked down on and tried to kill me a few minutes ago?”

“Heek!”

When Melissa realized the difference in our abilities, she started begging for her life. Of course, I had no intention of forgiving her.

It’s all due to Melissa, who is excellent at whatever she does.

I suppose she understood that she couldn’t beat me even if she stood on her head.

“I–I beg your pardon, please have mercy, please have mercy, please have mercy, please have mercy, please have mercy—”

Melissa, realizing this, fell from the fear. Her bodily fluids began to flow on the ground, and without caring about it, she got down on her knees and begged for mercy.

“Do you think I’ll forgive you?”

I then looked at Melissa, who was covered in her own body fluids, as she pressed her head on the ground begging for mercy and told her there was no way I would forgive her.

The only thing that has changed in the week since was Melissa’s disappearance from the Kvist household. Everything else remained the same.

Every day I am looked down upon by servants and family members.

If I had to go into detail, the only thing I would say is that my father’s eyes on me have changed just a little bit.

He probably wants to ask me about Melissa, but since he ordered her to kill me himself, I guess he’s in a situation where he can’t ask.

Well, from my point of view, it doesn’t matter.

Since my father’s value of me as trash who should be looked down upon and eliminated has not changed, it’s as if nothing has changed.

As the days went by, the Kvist family servants, mainly Melissa’s subordinates, disappeared one after the other. But it was more than a month after the disappearance of all of Melissa’s subordinates that my father, who was never much interested in servants, noticed this.

After finishing breakfast with my father, oblivious to Melissa’s subordinate’s disappearance, and my family, who still looks down on me, I quickly finished getting ready for school and got into the carriage.

It’s also been a while since I’ve been going to school.

And I was also in the midst of a raging stomachache as I headed to the school for the first time in a while.

After half an hour of enduring the stomachache that intensified the closer we got to school with a speed spirit, we arrived at the Imperial Academy of Magical Arts.

I think the stomachache was due to school phobia, and that, in turn, was caused by the broken engagement.

It is irredeemable because the cause of the symptoms is entirely my own fault.

EN: “School phobia” is actually Didaskaleinophobia, but that is such a damn mouthful.
