Genius Artist - Replacement of the White Moonlight for the Rich CEO

Huo Lian was a rich young master who had never dirtied his hands, so he would naturally never do something as boorish as opening a durian with his bare hands.

What’s more, he paid great attention to cleanliness. In his eyes, a food with taste as strong as a durian wasn’t much different from a biochemical weapon.

“You can’t?” Lu Shijin glanced at Huo Lian’s furrowed eyebrows, secretly laughing at him.

Lu Shijin shrugged with his hands out, his tone sounding regretful.

“Mr. Huo keeps on saying that you want to cooperate with me, but it seems that your so-called sincerity isn’t much. Time is precious, so we should stop wasting our time. I still need to enjoy my vacation.”

Huo Lian’s expression was gloomy, his cold gaze staring at Lu Shijin’s face.

How wonderful. This substitute has grown quite well, daring to use me as entertainment

Lu Shijin waved to Huo Lian. “I’ll be leaving now, let’s see if we have the luck to meet again.”

Lu Shijin swaggered off and bragged to 711, “Did you see? Huo Lian’s expression just now was like he ate a fly.”

711 wasn’t in the mood to see what expression Huo Lian had and complained, “I’m warning you, this is the last time I do something like opening a coconut for you! Systems have self-respect too!”

“Don’t be so stiff, my little assistant. Life is already so difficult, if you don’t find joy during hardships, you will feel suffocated. And plus, how great was our cooperation? Tim and Huo Lian were both stunned. Haha, would they think that I have superpowers? If you don’t want to open coconuts anymore, we can open something else next time. What do you think about durians? Or watermelons?

711 searched for swear words in the language database and cursed at Lu Shijin in eight languages.

But a good system should not swear, so all Lu Shijin heard was “Beep— Beep—”

After a while, 711 noticed that Huo Lian didn’t follow and asked worriedly, “You rejected Huo Lian, he shouldn’t have left in anger, right?”

“My assistant, let me tell you something. If you want someone to value you, you shouldn’t let them think that you’re easy to convince, because the majority of powerful people are difficult to convince.”

If Lu Shijin had immediately agreed to cooperate with him, Huo Lian probably wouldn’t have paid much attention to him.

He would’ve simply casted this chess piece away when he was done.

So Lu Shijin had to make sure he had the upper hand.

Lu Shijin’s predictions were pretty accurate. Although Huo Lian was ridiculed by him during the day, he didn’t leave in anger.

When night fell, the entertainment areas of the island were lit up with colourful neon lights, with hoards of tourists everywhere. The much anticipated nighvttime had come. No one knew if they’d have a fateful encounter with someone.

Lu Shijin wasn’t interested in places like bars or discos so he dragged Tim to an arcade.

There were many young couples at the arcade. Since Lu Shijin and Tim were both handsome young men, many people mistook them as a couple.

At the front desk, the person in charge of exchanging money into tokens glanced at Lu Shijin and Tim, then said in unfluent English, “Couples can enjoy 20% off in exchanging tokens when they form a team, are you two . . .?”

Tim answered before Lu Shijin, “Yes, we are*.”

*Eng in raws

The worker didn’t have any suspicions and gave them a red bucket with 100 tokens.

Tim held the bucket and raised his eyebrows at Lu Shijin, smiling. “20%, I hope Mr. Lu won’t mind that I pretended to have a relationship with you.”

Lu Shijin smiled politely. “Of course not.”

“Frivolous.” A cold voice suddenly sounded behind Lu Shijin.

Lu Shijin could tell who it was without looking.

He turned around and smiled, not surprised that Huo Lian found him. “I can’t believe I ran into Mr. Huo in a place like this. I wonder if the world is too small or if some people just don’t want to leave?”

Huo Lian expressionlessly said, “This place is open to everyone for business, do I need your permission to come?”

“Of course not.” Lu Shijin looked at the colourful game machines, then at Huo Lian. “I just feel as though Mr. Huo’s temperament is a bit out of place here.”

Huo Lian smiled coldly. “When I first visited an arcade, I’m afraid some people were still drinking milk out of a bottle.”

Lu Shijin lifted an eyebrow. Very well, is Huo Lian trying to challenge me?

Lu Shijin politely asked Huo Lian. “Would you care to test your skills?”

Huo Lian lifted his chin. “Very well.”

Lu Shijin sneered. I’ll teach you what cruelty is.

They started from the claw machine. Each person had 20 tokens and whoever got more plushies would win.

Reality proved that Huo Lian wasn’t bragging and had really hid himself well.

Who would think that a domineering president, usually found in suits and leather shoes, would also be a pro at the claw machine.

Every time they caught a plushie, they’d throw it to Tim. What a sad figure this handsome blond cut, completely surrounded by plushies.

Holding Lu Shijin’s plushies made sense, since he was his boss, but he didn’t expect that Huo Lian’s plushies would also be thrown to him.

He originally wanted to refuse, but upon meeting the Chinese man’s cold gaze, he couldn’t say a single word.

In the end, Lu Shijin caught five and Huo Lian caught six. Amongst the six Huo Lian caught, three of them were the large plushies that were very hard to get.

Without doubt, Huo Lian had won this round.
