Gu Lingfeng and Gu Mufei’s expressions were indescribable. Gu Chaoci turned away and his ears seemed to be soaked in the sunset, turning red little by little.

“I’ll leave first. Deal with the hall monitor later, and don’t leave any traces.

Gu Chaoci threw out these words, promptly turned into a snow wolf, and hurried away.

In such a rush that it unintentionally synchronized its limbs.

It was not a big deal to do it in human form, but in animal form…the snow wolf almost gave the floor a warm hug.

Gu Lingfeng watched the snow wolf go out and then closed the door.

He turned around and saw his own son resting his chin in both hands, smiling like an idiot, and his eyes hurt a little.

“What are you laughing at?” Gu Lingfeng smacked Gu Mufei on the face and angrily asked.

“Aren’t I just happy!” Gu Mufei grabbed Gu Lingfeng’s clothes, his brows full of joy, “Dad, you must have a good relationship with the future madam! And you must properly protect the Patriarch’s father-in-law, mother-in-law, [big] brother-in-law, and [younger] brother-in-law! Then your future will definitely be boundless!”

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Gu Lingfeng’s brows scrunched up, and he once again suspected that what he and his wife raised wasn’t a child, but the placenta. “What messy father-in-law, [younger] brother-in-law?”

He has followed the Patriarch for so long and has never seen the Patriarch close with anyone, so where’d the partner come from?

Gu Mufei chuckled mischievously, “Dad, can’t you see that the Patriarch is interested in Shen Jiangling?”

“Otherwise, why did it take him so long to contact us? It wouldn’t be difficult to take advantage of the times when Shen Jiangling was busy to send us a message with a cell phone or computer. Maybe he was reluctant?”

As soon as Gu Chaoci spoke, Gu Mufei knew that the other party did not have amnesia and felt a little regretful.

But on second thought, Gu Chaoci still indulged Shen Jiangling like that despite having his memories, so what could it be if not true love!

That’s right, things like sadomasochism and whatnot are long outdated, and amnesia was tacky and overused.

Sweet pampering was the way of the king!

Doting demonic snow wolf husband vs. sweet and pampered little husband. This CP knocks him out!

Gu Mufei even wanted to move the Civil Affairs Bureau directly here to let them get married now!

“Shen Jiangling? You mean the person who saved the Patriarch?”

“That’s right!” Gu Mufei nodded frantically like a chicken pecking at rice. He couldn’t wait to share the melon he ate with Gu Lingfeng, “You don’t know, when we were on set today, the way the Patriarch treated Shen Jiangling was true pampering!”

“Not only did he let his head be touched, but he also let his ears and tail be pulled!”

“That’s the tail! The tail that only your partner can touch!”

Gu Mufei couldn’t help but emphasize it twice. The light in his eyes could blind people.

“Is that true?” Gu Lingfeng’s expression immediately became serious.

“Of course it’s true! Would I joke about this kind of thing?” Gu Mufei instantly became anxious, widened his eyes, and puffed up his chest, “If you don’t believe, go to the studio tomorrow and you’ll see!”

“No need, I believe you.” Gu Lingfeng patted Gu Mufei on the shoulder, telling him to calm down.

He originally planned to send over a few decent subordinates as it was enough to keep people safe.

But now he changed his mind. He decided to thoroughly investigate the Shen Family and learn their preferences to help the Patriarch please the madam’s family in the future!

As a subordinate, you should take initiative to share your boss’ worries!

“Also, Dad, help me deal with the person I beat up today. He wanted to touch the Patriarch’s head, so the Patriarch scared him, but then not only did he want to bully Shen Jiangling, but he also scolded the Patriarch as a brute! So I moved my hands.” Gu Mufei had been in the entertainment circle for a long time, so he’s met all kinds of people and suffered quite a bit.

Chen Haoyu’s plan, he can figure it out with just his toes.

Therefore, when he spoke of this matter, his expression conveyed disdain.

“What?!” Gu Lingfeng immediately became angry, “Okay, I will take care of this matter. You stay here to protect the Patriarch and Mr. Shen.”

“En!” Gu Mufei nodded vigorously.

Gu Lingfeng still had other matters to deal with, so he could only stay in City B for a short time. He ordered his subordinates to erase the traces of the snow wolf in the surveillance and to pay close attention to the development on the internet.

Once a photo related to the snow wolf appeared, immediately suppress it to prevent it from gaining any traction.

Gu Lingfeng instructed Gu Mufei with a few more words, then flew back to the main Gu house overnight.

The battle was about to start, and he must arrange everything in order!

Gu Lingfeng had long been displeased with Gu Changfeng, but to satisfy his Patriarch’s wicked taste for this game of cat and mouse, he could only endure again and again.

But now that he could finally uproot the other party, Gu Lingfeng was extremely excited.

The snow wolf pushed open the door that was left ajar and looked at the bed.

Sure enough, Shen Jiangling had kicked off the quilt again and was curled up pitifully in the corner.

It sighed, then jumped onto the bed and grabbed the quilt to cover Shen Jiangling.

The tip of its nose accidentally touched Shen Jiangling’s lower arm, and it trembled from the chilliness.

It feared that the situation became like this not long after it left.

The movement woke Shen Jiangling, and he stared at the snow wolf with puzzling eyes. He yawned, his voice carrying a cute nasal tone, sounding almost coquettish, “Xiaosi, why did you run outside of the quilt again? Isn’t it cold?”

As Shen Jiangling spoke, he lifted the quilt and patted the empty space reserved for the snow wolf, “Quickly come in!”

The snow wolf silently scooted over and was then tightly bound by Shen Jiangling’s hands and feet, “Okay, let’s go to sleep.”

Shen Jiangling rubbed against the soft fur, and his breath steadied shortly afterward.

Looking at how Shen Jiangling acted like an octopus, the snow wolf felt a bit of a headache.

When it leaves, who will cover Shen Jiangling when he kicks the quilt off again at night?

A cold or fever was already unpleasant, and it’ll be even worse if it developed into pneumonia.

Why does this little idiot make others worry so much?

But it was useless to worry. It could only deal with the Gu Family affairs as soon as possible and then come back to accompany him.

The snow wolf covered Shen Jiangling’s icy cold feet with its tail as it decided.

The next day, Shen Jiangling purposefully got up early. He borrowed the hotel kitchen to knead bread. He planned to make egg pancakes and soy milk while at it.

Shen Jiangling knew that his craftsmanship was not as good as that of the chef in the five-star hotel, but the thought counted.

While he was busy, the snow wolf squatted outside and let out a big yawn.

The snow wolf guessed it would be a long time before Shen Jiangling came out, so it laid down on the carpet and planned to nap for a bit.

Midway through, Shen Jiangling was not reassured about leaving the snow wolf outside and was worried that it would be bullied, so he came out once to check on it.

He saw that the snow wolf was asleep and immediately asked the waiter to get him a clean blanket and covered the snow wolf with it.

Seeing the snow wolf’s closed eyes, Shen Jiangling bent his lips. Then, he bent down and kissed the snow wolf’s forehead before quietly leaving.

Gu Mufei passed by and saw Shen Jiangling covering the snow wolf with a blanket. With a thought in his mind, he took out his cell phone and happened to take a photo of Shen Jiangling kissing the snow wolf’s forehead.

On the screen, the handsome young man had knelt on one knee and kissed the snow wolf lying on the ground, his eyes full of tenderness and attachment.

The light blue down jacket on his body intertwined with the snow wolf’s soft and fluffy white fur, resembling blue skies and white clouds. They complimented each other brilliantly.

Gu Mufei couldn’t help but imagine another beautiful love story.

When he returned to his sense, he discovered that the snow wolf had opened its eyes and was staring fixedly at him.

Gu Mufei was startled and immediately trotted over.

He squatted beside the snow wolf, looked around, and confirmed that no one was nearby. He lowered his voice, “Patriarch, do you need me for something?”

The snow wolf let out a low growl, asking him what he had just photographed.

Gu Mufei handed the phone over to the snow wolf like offering a treasure, his eyes sparkling, “I accidentally took a photo of this. Patriarch, would you like me to send it to you?”

In just one short day, Gu Mufei refreshed his understanding of the snow wolf.

Now there were a few points less of reverence and a little more intimacy.

If he wasn’t concerned about his identity, he couldn’t wait to enter the battle personally and give the snow wolf advice so that it could embrace the beauty sooner.

The snow wolf nodded without thinking.

After nodding, it realized it didn’t have a mobile phone right now, so it told Gu Mufei to send it when they returned and not to send the photo to others.

Gu Mufei quickly responded.

The snow wolf gave him an approving look.

This kid had a good eye. It was a talent worth nurturing!

The photo was also shot well, worthy of encouragement!

Gu Mufei, who was praised, instantly became happy. His smile was like a blooming morning glory.

Consequently, when Shen Yixiao woke up, he saw the breakfast Shen Jiangling had specially cooked for him and was moved beyond words.

“Jiangling, Brother Shen is only happy when eating the breakfast you made. He doesn’t even look at the ones I usually buy.” The assistant said with a smile.

Why not?” Shen Jiangling was a bit puzzled.

“Sometimes it’s busy, and the filming ends in the wee hours of the morning. Once he gets back, he sleeps maybe three or four hours before rushing back, doing his make-up on the road. He simply doesn’t have time for breakfast at all.”

“Sometimes the scenes are in the afternoon, and Brother Shen would sleep until noon before getting up.”

“After a long time, he developed the habit of skipping breakfast.” The assistant sighed. The acting industry looked glamorous, but only they knew the pain.

It was nothing out of the ordinary to wear a thick cotton-padded jacket to warm up by the fireside during the hottest three days of the year or wear a single layer and jump into the cold water during the coldest time of the year.

Once they reached old age, many of the actors would suffer from illnesses caused by all these years of filming.

If Shen Yixiao didn’t genuinely like this industry, why wouldn’t he just stay home to collect his family’s dividends?

Did he have to come and suffer like this?

Others may have to bow their heads for the sake of their livelihood and film some unpopular TV dramas, but Shen Yixiao won’t.

He was both talented and willing to work hard, and didn’t have to worry about miscellaneous tasks, so his achievements were naturally higher than the average person’s.

Shen Jiangling watched how Shen Yixiao flipped through the script while eating breakfast, and his heart felt sore.

When Shen Yixiao had to give up the stage in the original plot, how painful must’ve it been?

What’s the difference between cutting off an eagle’s wings and making it jump around on the ground?

The snow wolf inadvertently turned its head and saw Shen Jiangling’s misty eyes. Its mood instantly became terrible.

It raised its paws and placed them on Shen Jiangling’s knees, face full of worry.

At the same time, he thought about everything that Shen Jiangling had experienced since waking up at lightning speed, not letting go of any moments where he may have been bullied.

Shen Jiangling’s train of thought was interrupted by the snow wolf, and he saw Shen Yixiao raise his head from the corner of his eyes. He quickly buried his face in the snow wolf’s soft, fluffy fur.

He quickly blinked twice, forcing back the tears, and only looked up after a little while.

“Second Brother, don’t worry. As long as I’m with the crew for one more day, I’ll make breakfast for you for one more day!” Shen Jiangling earnestly promised.

“There’s no need to go to such trouble.” Shen Yixiao raised his hand and rubbed Shen Jiangling’s hair, his eyes gentle, “Xiao Ling, I asked you to come to play and relax your mood, not to act like a cow or horse for me.”

“If our parents and Big Brother knew about this, they’ll definitely beat me to the point of hospitalization.”

“For the sake of my life and safety, promise me you won’t get up early every day to make breakfast for me, okay?”

Shen Jiangling was amused by Shen Yixiao, “Okay, then I will supervise you to eat breakfast from now on instead!”

Seeing that Shen Jiangling had recovered, the snow wolf was relieved.

“Okay.” Shen Yixiao agreed and decided that no matter how sleepy he was in the future, he must get up and have breakfast!

The crew members were still moving the props when they arrived at the set. Shen Yixiao went to get his styling done, and Shen Jiangling didn’t bother others, carrying a small bench into the corner to eat his egg pancakes.

When Director Li arrived, a gust of wind blew onto his face and brought the aroma of food. Director Li was instantly hungry.

He had gotten up early and hadn’t had time for breakfast yet.

“What are you eating?” Director Li suddenly asked, startling Shen Jiangling.

The insulation container would have fallen to the ground if it weren’t for the snow wolf’s sharp eyes and quick limbs and pushing it with its body.

Shen Yixiao turned around and discovered that it was Director Li, “These are the egg pancakes I made, Director Li. Would you like to try it?”

Shen Jiangling took a clean disposable bowl and chopsticks from the small paper bag beside him and put some sliced egg pancakes into it before handing them to Director Li.

Director Li looked at Shen Jiangling’s clear eyes and raised his eyebrows.

This kid was quite brave, he actually wasn’t afraid of him.

Director Li wasn’t polite either. He picked up an egg pancake with the chopsticks and took a bite, “The taste is not bad.”

Shen Jiangling’s beautiful amber eyes curved into two crescent moons. He gave up his small bench to Director Li, found another one, and sat next to Director Li.

“Director Li, I made this soymilk this morning using black beans. Would you like some?” Shen Jiangling poured him a cup.

“En.” Director Li accepted it and took a sip.

The crew members and actors that walked by were shocked by the scene of the old man and youth sitting side-by-side sharing breakfast.

Director Li was known in the industry for having a bad temper. He couldn’t tolerate any sand in his eyes and would scold others torrentially if he was even the littlest bit dissatisfied.

Many actors have tried their best to curry favors with him, but they all failed without exception.

Over time, no one dared to take the initiative to approach Director Li.

Only Shen Yixiao could chat and joke with Director Li during these three months of filming. Unexpectedly, his assistant also wasn’t an ordinary person.

The snow wolf gradually frowned as he watched Director Li drink the soy milk and devour the egg pancake mouthful after mouthful.

Was this old man a pig? How can he eat so much?

If he ate everything, wouldn’t the little idiot go hungry?

The snow wolf couldn’t sit still anymore. It looked around and soon found Gu Mufei seated in a different corner.

“Patriarch? Do you have other orders?” Gu Mufei asked in a low voice.

The snow wolf let out a low growl.

Gu Mufei nodded and quietly left.

After eating and drinking enough, Director Li gave Shen Jiangling a nod and left.

Shen Jiangling blinked and continued to eat.

“Hey, Jiangling, how did you get in touch with Director Li?” Brother Wang leaned over with the flames of gossip blazing in his eyes.

“Director Li happened to be hungry and saw me eating, so we ate together.” Shen Jiangling generously explained.

“You boy, your luck is really good!” Brother Wang was extremely envious, “If you become popular in the future, don’t forget to support  your brother!”

“Yeah, Jiangling, don’t forget your friends when you become rich! In any case, we’ve stayed in the same crew and can also be comrades who came out of the trenches.” Another crew member joked.

“I don’t plan to enter showbiz.” Shen Jiangling felt a little helpless.

“Hey, just because you don’t plan to enter now doesn’t mean you won’t in the future.”

“Do you still have egg pancakes and soy milk? I also want to taste what Director Wang1the author may have accidentally written Director Wang instead of Director Li has eaten!”

Shen Jiangling thought it wasn’t anything precious, so he let them take it at random.

Not long after, the insulated container was empty.

The snow wolf looked at Shen Jiangling, its eyes full of hatred of iron not becoming steel.

Why was this little idiot like a steamed bun that anyone could pinch?

If someone dares to touch its food, it’ll beat them into the ground in a few minutes!

The snow wolf let out a deep sigh and felt the great vicissitudes of life.

It was getting more and more worried about what the little idiot would do when left alone!
