The Dog I Picked Up is the Villain

Gu Lingfeng and Gu Mufei’s expressions were indescribable. Gu Chaoci turned away and his ears seemed to be soaked in the sunset, turning red little by little. 

“I’ll leave first. Deal with the hall monitor later, and don’t leave any traces.

The snow wolf silently scooted over and was then tightly bound by Shen Jiangling’s hands and feet, “Okay, let’s go to sleep.” 

Shen Jiangling rubbed against the soft fur, and his breath steadied shortly afterward. 

Looking at how Shen Jiangling acted like an octopus, the snow wolf felt a bit of a headache.

When it leaves, who will cover Shen Jiangling when he kicks the quilt off again at night? 

A cold or fever was already unpleasant, and it’ll be even worse if it developed into pneumonia.

The snow wolf guessed it would be a long time before Shen Jiangling came out, so it laid down on the carpet and planned to nap for a bit. 

Midway through, Shen Jiangling was not reassured about leaving the snow wolf outside and was worried that it would be bullied, so he came out once to check on it. 

He saw that the snow wolf was asleep and immediately asked the waiter to get him a clean blanket and covered the snow wolf with it. 

Seeing the snow wolf’s closed eyes, Shen Jiangling bent his lips. Then, he bent down and kissed the snow wolf’s forehead before quietly leaving. 

Gu Mufei passed by and saw Shen Jiangling covering the snow wolf with a blanket. With a thought in his mind, he took out his cell phone and happened to take a photo of Shen Jiangling kissing the snow wolf’s forehead. 

On the screen, the handsome young man had knelt on one knee and kissed the snow wolf lying on the ground, his eyes full of tenderness and attachment. 

The light blue down jacket on his body intertwined with the snow wolf’s soft and fluffy white fur, resembling blue skies and white clouds. They complimented each other brilliantly. 

Gu Mufei couldn’t help but imagine another beautiful love story. 

When he returned to his sense, he discovered that the snow wolf had opened its eyes and was staring fixedly at him. 

Gu Mufei was startled and immediately trotted over. 

He squatted beside the snow wolf, looked around, and confirmed that no one was nearby. He lowered his voice, “Patriarch, do you need me for something?”

The snow wolf let out a low growl, asking him what he had just photographed. 

Gu Mufei handed the phone over to the snow wolf like offering a treasure, his eyes sparkling, “I accidentally took a photo of this. Patriarch, would you like me to send it to you?”

In just one short day, Gu Mufei refreshed his understanding of the snow wolf. 

Now there were a few points less of reverence and a little more intimacy.

The snow wolf gave him an approving look.

The photo was also shot well, worthy of encouragement!

“For the sake of my life and safety, promise me you won’t get up early every day to make breakfast for me, okay?”

Shen Jiangling was amused by Shen Yixiao, “Okay, then I will supervise you to eat breakfast from now on instead!”

Shen Jiangling took a clean disposable bowl and chopsticks from the small paper bag beside him and put some sliced egg pancakes into it before handing them to Director Li. 

Director Li looked at Shen Jiangling’s clear eyes and raised his eyebrows. 

This kid was quite brave, he actually wasn’t afraid of him. 

Director Li wasn’t polite either. He picked up an egg pancake with the chopsticks and took a bite, “The taste is not bad.” 

Shen Jiangling’s beautiful amber eyes curved into two crescent moons. He gave up his small bench to Director Li, found another one, and sat next to Director Li. 

“Director Li, I made this soymilk this morning using black beans. Would you like some?” Shen Jiangling poured him a cup. 

“En.” Director Li accepted it and took a sip. 

The crew members and actors that walked by were shocked by the scene of the old man and youth sitting side-by-side sharing breakfast. 

Director Li was known in the industry for having a bad temper. He couldn’t tolerate any sand in his eyes and would scold others torrentially if he was even the littlest bit dissatisfied. 

Many actors have tried their best to curry favors with him, but they all failed without exception.

Shen Jiangling blinked and continued to eat. 

“Hey, Jiangling, how did you get in touch with Director Li?” Brother Wang leaned over with the flames of gossip blazing in his eyes. 

“Director Li happened to be hungry and saw me eating, so we ate together.” Shen Jiangling generously explained. 

“You boy, your luck is really good!” Brother Wang was extremely envious, “If you become popular in the future, don’t forget to support  your brother!”

“Yeah, Jiangling, don’t forget your friends when you become rich! In any case, we’ve stayed in the same crew and can also be comrades who came out of the trenches.” Another crew member joked.

“I don’t plan to enter showbiz.” Shen Jiangling felt a little helpless.

The snow wolf looked at Shen Jiangling, its eyes full of hatred of iron not becoming steel.

Why was this little idiot like a steamed bun that anyone could pinch?

If someone dares to touch its food, it’ll beat them into the ground in a few minutes!

The snow wolf let out a deep sigh and felt the great vicissitudes of life. 

It was getting more and more worried about what the little idiot would do when left alone!
