Like a frightened lamb, Luo ZhouZhou jumped up and dashed back to the pharmacy. He knocked over a few medicine bottles and rushed back with the stack of documents.

As Qi Fen was blocking the doorway, not moving. Luo ZhouZhou didn’t dare to ask him to let him through, so he side-stepped and squeezed through the small gap. He also peeked at Qi Fen's face to see if he was still angry.

"Luo ZhouZhou." Just as he managed to squeeze his way out, Qi Fen suddenly spoke up, at a very low volume.

"Yes." Luo ZhouZhou's heart thudded.

According to the experience of dealing with Luo Pei, this kind of timing and tone meant that a reprimand would follow. But surprisingly, Qi Fen just looked at him in silence, without saying anything.

Just as Luo ZhouZhou was getting more and more scared, Qi Fen spoke up, "Turn right at the door, walk out of the passage, then turn left again, and you will see the Pathology Department.”

"Oh." Luo ZhouZhou didn't move, holding the files, and continued staring at him.

He stopped in front of room 001 and looked in again, just as Xiao Yu was also looking out, and their eyes collided. When Xiao Yu saw him, her eyes lit up and she grinned, wrinkles all over her face.

Luo ZhouZhou felt that she really wanted to talk to him, but he had to deliver the documents as soon as possible, so he could only say apologetically through the glass window, "Xiao Yu, I have something else to do, I'll see you some other time.”

The light in Xiao Yu's eyes dimmed, but she nodded her head, indicating that she understood.

Luo ZhouZhou said goodbye to her, and left the door of the Case Department.

When he returned to the lobby of the institute after sending the files, Qi Fen was already there, surrounded by several researchers, talking. Luo ZhouZhou slipped back to the logistics room quietly by the wall.

Lin Fan plopped down on the only sofa in the logistics room, his legs stretched out. When he saw Luo ZhouZhou, he held out his hands to show them to him.

"Look, I've just been sent to move a box, and  it was so heavy, my hands are all red," he said. Afterwards, he howled to the sky, "When will this hard life end?"

Qi Fen happened to pass by and looked up at them coolly. It scared Lin Fan to sit up straight, not daring to complain.

They sat in silence for a while, and then it was time for lunch.

The lunch at the institute was quite sumptuous, and every day a food cart was pushed by someone to bring the food that the researchers had ordered in the morning.

When he heard the sound of food wheels sliding in the hall, Lin Fan asked Luo ZhouZhou, "Did you order today? I just moved boxes and missed the ordering time."

Lin Fan's face reddened, and a few small freckles became even more pronounced.
